Thank you.
I"m enjoying my day quite well. It is much too beautiful a day to argue. I worry much more about Iran and Israel than I do about Beebe.
And neither one can I do anything about....except be me.
LOL!!! That was FUNNY!!!!
I'm posting because I want to post. No other reason needed.
When I first started investing, I used to make tons of phone calls. And do you know what I learned?
I learned that all that time and effort spent in making phone calls did nothing to determine if the company was going to make it or not. So I don't do phone calls anymore.
Besides, I already heard Eddie's side on the TV show. He wouldn't be the one I'd be calling anyway, if I still made phone calls.
I would just rather wait and see what happens.
Fly and Pontalba,
I have no idea and I am too busy to do all the legwork needed to determine who is right and who is wrong in this matter.
Like I said, "If it happens, it happens....if it doesn't, it doesn't."
I am looking forward to the conference call though. I think that y'all gave me a couple of good questions to ask. Thanks!
I listened to the TV broadcast too.
I found it interesting that Eddie stated that he was paid consistently for 9 months....and then payment stopped.
In my years of experience with businesses, payments are never stopped just on a whim. There is always a REASON! Before I pass any judgment, I would love to know the REASON!!!!
Wouldn't anyone? There has GOT to be a reason.
I also thought that it was kind of cool that Eddie verified the worth of the radio station.
I do hope that Eddie's wife gets better and stays better. Seeing a loved one be ill is always difficult.
OT: Thinking of sick ones, I attended a presentation last night at Constituion Hall in Washington, D.C. by John Edward, the psychic. It was an amazing presentation. I arrived there totally neutral and I'm still pretty neutral, but I must admit that he was amazing. At the end, he said that we are all here to fill roles. Made me wonder what my role in life is. In a little over two weeks, I begin a whole new chapter in my life. It's both scary and exciting. A whole new career and a whole new set of skills. I won't have time to post much, but I'll be waiting patiently.
I don't think that there has been any production yet in the gold mine. But a road has been built to have access to it and there is an employment ad on the Perihelion website for the mines. So once again, I call those things PROGRESS.
Time will tell if the employees get hired and if production starts.
And to answer your question a little farther up, yes, I am aware that the mine has never been in commercial production.
It was my understanding that is why Perihelion built the road and got the various permits....so that commercial production could begin.
If it happens, it happens....if it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm looking forward to all of us finding out.
Here is the link to order the different publications.

The Box Elder County Utah report is the 4th one down under Bulletins.
Go to message 25302. The link is on there.
I also found links where one could order from some government entity (I apologize, I forget which one) where one could order what Box Elder County Utah contains. I'll try and go find it again, and if you want to order it, you can.
Fly,
The only thing that I'm interested in is if progress is being made. I've said that since Day One. Yes, the progress has been slow...BUT it's still being made. As long as I see that progress is being made, I shall patiently hold my shares.
Granted, before the R/S it was a lot more fun thinking how much money I would have if the stock ever went back to .01.
But, I still have fun thinking about what I might have if Perihelion ever pulls this off. Even with the R/S.
I will NEVER forget a company whose history of delayed plans was similar to this one and who did a large reverse split and had the shareholders squealing, but a year later it was at $10.00.
I'm not going to air opinions, I'm not going to defend, I'm not going to attack.....as long as I see progress. As long as I see progress, I am going to WAIT.

GOLD LOCATIONS IN UTAH
Although Utah is seldom mentioned as a major gold producer it is rated sixth in the United States. Most of the production came as a by product of copper mining. Utah's gold concentrations generally line in the central part of the state in a north to south zone. Most of the gold areas are within an easy drive from Salt Lake City. On the western side of the Oquirrh Range is the world's largest copper mine. It is located in Bingham Canyon and gold has been produced in the same Canyon since 1863. Mining is important to Utah's economy. Commercial placer operations in Utah have been mostly considered unsuccessful, however, in many parts of the state there are large areas of stream and bench gravel that have not been tested. Lack of water in many areas has hampered prospecting efforts.

dog,
You betcha that I'm confident! But I just can't go into detail....too many hearts might be broken. lol!
Now then, back to your regularly scheduled PHGI programming.
bc,
Thank you, thank you! But even though I am now famous, I shall always consider you to be a friend.
Nope,
It doesn't sound mean or testy. It actually sounds quite human. Your opinion of public employees was interesting. I don't work for anyone but myself now (thank God), but I have in the past worked both in the private sector and in the public sector.
The place where I had to work the hardest was with the public sector. One thing that I got tired of hearing was "I'm paying your salary." I was able to figure out a good response to that one. Let's say the person saying it was a waitress. I'd just say, "Well, thank you, and you know, everytime I go eat at your restaurant, I'm paying yours." That would always stop and make them think.
I met people like you who hated the public sector. I'm not saying that this is you, but usually it was people who were pretty self-sufficient and who just HATED the various laws and restrictions that they had to work under. And if it was someone who REALLY hated the public sector, it was usually someone who had gotten his chops knocked off trying to circumvent some law. I was usually on the side of the person who got his chops kicked, which is one reason I couldn't stay with the public sector for too many years. It's kind of bad when Sunday night rolls along and your stomach gets tied in knots because you're dreading Monday morning so much. For some people it didn't seem to bother them, but for me, it did.
And the smartest people that I worked with were in the public sector. I remember my first day on the job, going into the cafeteria and almost everyone there had their nose stuck in a book. Public employees are people like everyone else. Most truly want to do a good job and most work their butts off.
bearclaw,
Thanks. I felt as though I was being rather testy today. It's just that I get so tired of reading negative after negative after negative. Even when something promising happens (such as announcement of production), there is nothing but negative and more negative.
And then you get questions about anything and everything such as BDC status, CO permits, even whether production has actually started or not. No matter what the company does it appears that there is no quarter given. Now granted, the 5 billion share count is a legitimate gripe. The share price is a legitimate gripe...but it just never ends. No pat on the back for announcement of production....just questions and more questions.
I had hoped to visit the plant myself, but I got distracted by more fun things. Oh well. I figured that any visit isn't going to change the final outcome so why not do the fun things instead?
This might sound mean, but I just hope and pray that PHGI is able to bust the "demolition crew" in the chops someday. And the only way that I can see that happening is for the company to be successful.
Ok, gotta go....leaving at 6 AM in the morning to visit friends.
Shorts,
Thanks for the clarification about the Federal lands.
But I still think there are some Federal permit requirements in there as well as State. At least that's the way it sounded from what I was reading on the Utah Geological site.
One last thing before I go....(and I really have to leave)
Golly, but I get you guys riled up! And it's so easy to do!
Cracks me up!
Have fun!
bike,
Nope. Registration fee/license fee....pure semantics. Same ole, same ole.
Nope. I stand by what I said. What you are talking about is apples vs oranges. One has nothing to do with the other.
True, states do issue mining permits....in fact if memory serves me correctly, PHGI received one from the State of Utah, but is their mine not on Federal lands? Most states require both Federal and State mining permits.
In the conference call, it was my impression that the talk was about the Federal ones.
Ok, gotta go. Have fun!
shorts,
Yep, 5 billion shares is a bit much...I agree with that.
Yes,
Back then I fell for something somebody said on here about Forbes. Appears they were joking.
After that embarrassment, I did some checking on my own.
While I don't know if Beebe is a billionaire or not, based on other information that I obtained from independent sources, he is most certainly a mulit-millionaire.
Bike,
That license fee is State. The mining permits are Federal. One has nothing to do with the other.
Notice that the license fee is for a corporation incorporated in the state of Delaware.
It appears as though the corporation will be changed to the state of Nevada.
I think that you need to do some more checking.
DI,
If you are seriously thinking that Beebe needs money in his personal account, then I'm changing your name from Dumb Indian to Delusional Indian. :)
Seriously, from what I can gather the man is a multi-millionaire with royalties coming in every month from the Point-of-Sale stuff from his very successful former company.
Too bad you weren't around to call him dishonest on that one.
If there is any man in this universe who can make a success of PHGI, Beebe is one of those men.
To make it extremely simple:
A BDC is set up under rules established in 1940 and it is actually more like an investment fund.
A development company is simply a company that is in the process of developing. For example, most junior miners are in the stage of development, BUT they are certainly not set up as BDC's.
There is actually much more to a BDC than the very simple explanation that I just gave, but trust me, PHGI is NOT a BDC!!!!!!!
shorts,
I honestly don't have a clue....and there might not even be a reverse split....you don't know that, and either do I. You're thinking inside the box....I'm thinking outside the box.
Inside the box, a reverse split is almost a given.
Outside the box, there are other scenarios. And no, don't ask me for my ideas, cause y'all will just make fun of poor little ole me. :(
Just remember, you all have been making disparaging comments about PHGI for months now. And yes, I agree that the share price seriously sucks! BUT....I have been saying for months that progress is being made....and as long as progress is being made, I will remain hopeful about PHGI. And now the biggest progress of all to date has been the beginning of production at the plant. But rather than say, "hey, they finally began production".....you all are still making those pithy comments.
So....my scenario to date has come true. Production has begun. My next scenario involves a rising share price. That will come true as well....and I'm not factoring a Reverse Split into that rising price. If one happens, it will happen.
Only if you call me "JuneBug". Kinda cute, don't cha think?
Hahaha!
Maybe it's Beebe buying....ever think of that?
Wouldn't it be sweet if he were buying up the float?
He's got the money to do it.....but then maybe I'm just California dreamin'.
I guess we'll find out sometime......especially since we have someone on here whose job appears to be checking all the government and regulatory filings.
LOL! Yeah, I think that they must be dyslexic. When they look at the BUY Volume column...their eyes get twisted around and switches everything over to the sell column. :)
BTW, thanks very much for posting that link the past two days.
bc,
I decided I'm not going to the next beach after all. I'd have to board my 15 1/2 year old dog....and I decided that I just can't do that. At least on all the other places I was either able to take them with me or else have someone stay at the house with them.
So.....I guess I'll be waiting around for a while...same as you. I used to have a black cat named "Magic". He WAS human! LOL! Now I have a white cat named "Mo".
With production, comes sales. I found the PR that states that PHGI already has a buyer....it's Crewe Distributing. I think they also have the trucks. Woo-hoo!
Libra,
Tsk Tsk....yes....you know and I can see that the pink sheets site puts all the volume under BUY VOLUME, not sell volume, but the demolition crew is still going to call it all dumping.
But whatever floats one's boat!
John,
Please. Did you not look at the official Pink Sheet website?
It VERY CLEARLY stated that all of those trades were buys.
Now it might be some short covering.....but dumping? No Chance! It takes a while to get out of the cellar that we've been boxed in. But it'll happen. That old New Orleans fortune teller has never steered me wrong. (of course I only met her once). But when ya likes what they tells ya, then I say...."GO FOR IT!!!!"
Hi bc!
"High tea in London"....what a neat mental picture that gives!
Yep, if PHGI makes it back to a penny...let's go! :)
Actually, Dorothy had it right..."There's no place like home."
It felt some kind of wonderful sleeping in my own bed last night. In fact, I think I won't leave again until Wednesday.
May PHGI give you many wonderful vacations! I'm really stoked that the production has finally started! And yes, they already do have contracts for the fuel....it was in one of the prior PR's.....if I remember correctly it was with the trucking company.
Here's another blurb about biodiesel. Note that B100 means that it's 100% biodiesel with no petroleum in it whatsoever!
PGHI has B100.
IntroductionRudolph Diesel originally designed his 1892 prototypeof the diesel engine to run on a renewable fuel madefrom peanut oil and other vegetable oils. That fuel couldbe produced by the farmers of his day. But petroleum-based distillates of the early 1900s proved to be acheaper, readily available alternative fuel. As a result, the petroleum-based fuel industry became the standard of the world and Diesel’s dream of cheap, renewable fuelwas lost. Fuel shortages in the 1970s, however, re-kindled interest in alternative fuels. Today, as oil pricescontinue to climb, once again, the world’s interest inalternative fuels is stronger than ever. One of the mostpopular fuel alternatives today is biodiesel.Biodiesel is a renewable fuel from natural oils like soy-bean oil, rapeseed oil or animal fats and can be used as asubstitute for diesel fuel. Biodiesel made from vegetableoil or animal fat works just like petroleum diesel, butwith far lower toxic air emissions. It is cleaner burningthan petroleum diesel and has less sulfur content, reduc-ing emissions. It is also made from renewable resourcesso it is less taxing on petroleum supplies. Biodiesel fuelcan be mixed with petroleum diesel fuel at any dilutionlevel to create a biodiesel-blended fuel. Biodiesel refersto the pure fuel before blending. Common nomenclaturefor blended fuel is noted as the percentage of biodiesel inthe blend. B100 is 100% biodiesel. B20 is 20% biodieseland 80% petroleum diesel. Combustion of fossil fuels adds carbon dioxide tothe atmosphere, promoting the buildup of greenhousegases and global warming. Photosynthesis from plantsremoves carbon dioxide from the atmosphere – thereforethe combustion of biodiesel fuel from vegetable-oilfeedstock adds no net carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. In addition to the environmental advantage that biodieselprovides, the U.S. Energy Pollution Act of 1992 and 1998offers tax incentives to users of biodiesel fuel. So, biodieselcan fuel the consumer’s pocketbook as well as his car.Several mechanisms for the conversion of the free fattyacids (lipids) to fatty acid esters have been published. These mechanisms would include saponification, transesterification, hydrolysis and esterification.Esterification is carried out by the reaction of thecarboxylic acids (free fatty acids), alcohol and a catalyst. The fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) is the reactiontypically used for manufacturing biodiesel fuel, withwater and glycerin as by-products.Glycerin content can indicate the quality of biodiesel.Glycerin can be in the form of free glycerin or boundglycerin in the form of glycerides. Total glycerin is thesum of free glycerin and bound glycerin. A high contentof free and total glycerin can lead to buildup in fuel tanks, clogged fuel systems, injector fouling and valve deposits.ASTM method D-6751 specifications serve as thebenchmark which identifies the standards that purebiodiesel (B100) must meet before being used as fuelor being blended with petrodiesel. The U.S. NationalBiodiesel Board has adopted the ASTM biodieselspecification and analytical methodology. ASTMrecommends test method D-6584 for the analysis ofglycerin in biodiesel fuel by gas chromatography (GC).
Here's a little blurb about B100 biodiesel.
February 13, 2008
New energy balance study shows Biodiesel EVEN BETTER than last study!
A new analysis shows that the energy balance of biodiesel is a positive ratio of 3.5-to-1. For every unit of fossil energy needed to produce the fuel over its life cycle, the return is 3.5 units of energy, according to new research conducted at the University of Idaho in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The announcement of the increase up from 3.2 was made today at the National Biodiesel Conference & Expo in Orlando.
The Department of Energy National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) and USDA had produced the first comprehensive life cycle inventory for biodiesel in 1998. That landmark research found a 3.2 energy balance for biodiesel, while petroleum diesel yielded 0.83 units of energy per unit of fossil energy consumed. The many changes that have occurred in the U.S. biodiesel and agricultural industries since the 1990s prompted researchers at the University of Idaho to update the study in cooperation with the USDA. Both the 1998 and 2007 study are based on biodiesel production from soybeans, which according to U.S. Census data is responsible for more than 80 percent of 2007 estimated biodiesel production. Biodiesels energy balance improved in the 2007 study even though the new analysis is more comprehensive than previous work, and even extends to the energy required to manufacture the farm machinery used to produce soybeans.
"The bottom line is that the energy balance of biodiesel has definitely improved in the last decade," says University of Idaho Department Head of Biological and Agricultural Engineering Jon Van Gerpen. "The increase in soybean yields and a decrease in herbicide use greatly contributed to the increased energy balance. Meanwhile, energy used for crushing soybeans is significantly lower than what was reported in the NREL study.
Scovanner,
PHGI is not a BDC. I know BDC's....AMEP used to be one.
PHGI is a DEVELOPMENT company....it never was and never has been a BDC. A BDC is set up under totally different rules.
Although I guess now that PHGI is in production, it's no longer just a development company.
I'm really looking forward to the next 12 months. I think that we'll see a lot of stuff happening.
bc,
Whew! FINALLY!!!! Good timing too....I'm in-between beaches so was able to be here to see the PR.
I see where they estimate that several million gallons will be produced during the first calendar year.
I'm looking forward to the changeover to the Nevada corporation.
Check ya out later! Off again tomorrow!
Shorts,
You're right. Reminds me of that old saying, "One man's treasure is another man's junk." If they were not funny to the recipient, then they couldn't be called a joke.
Now, to me, I thought that it was hilarious! Because I knew that it was meant as a joke. I truly am beginning to believe that it must be a cultural thing. I'm so used to the "good ole boy" sense of humor that it surprises me to realize that others are not used to it.
But it really was a joke. Nobody should have felt threatened, and if they were, then I'm sure that the people who wrote it feel badly about it. I know that I would.
Heck, I sent some friends a political cartoon one time that I thought was hilarious...and they didn't find it humorous at all. So...I know what it's like to be on the other end of the stick. Not very fun.
I have heard that there was threatened legal action against some people that were trying to bring harm to the company.
However, I am quite sure that no one's physical well-being was threatened by anyone from the company.
Unlike the reverse.....BB stated during the conference call that there had been threats made to him concerning the well-being of him and his family. I think he stated that was crossing the line...or some such. Do you know who would be making physical threats against the officers of the company?
Now that I could believe because there are some real nut cases out there.
whistles, don't even try to insinuate that any officer of the company made any threats against someone's physical well-being. That is not true. That borders on the ridiculous!
Legal threats...financial threats...makes sense to me, but I would have no way of knowing for sure.
Thank you avdave!
You have just answered a question for me.
Good luck to you too.
Fast Flyer,
I believe that everyone who was a shareholder back then received the dividend shares. There was confirmation of it on the board by various posters. I know that I received mine.
