High Hampton has a Coachella project on their webpage:
1ST PROJECT – 10.8-ACRE LAND PARCEL IN COACHELLA CANNABIS ZONE: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) HAS BEEN GRANTED
High Hampton is executing its strategy by acquiring value brands and operators in the California market. Having distribution points throughout California will service the major regions of California.
Seems this comes a short time after LVVV got the BCC distribution permit. I wanna look behind the curtain..........
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/high-hampton-moves-forward-coachellagro-125700742.html
Put two and two together, man. Jeff Halloran, LVVV liason in Toronto, Canada, per LVVV PR "Jeff will use his standing in the Canadian markets to provide Livewire with research and advice for potential acquisitions and strategic alliance targets in the burgeoning Canadian cannabis markets."
Halloran lives in Toronto, Hampton High is in Toronto. Per Hampton High website : CONSOLIDATING THE MEDICINAL CANNABIS MARKET IN CALIFORNIA
I think LVVV is a big winner here-wait for the PR to bear this out. The train is coming.
How does this jibe with the LVVV LOI and their minority stake? You can't sell one company to two separate entities, can you? Reminds me of selling 2 world series tickets to 10 different people on Craigslist lol
Is this a big game of musical chairs?
Regarding the Paso Robles application, this is from the San Luis Obispo County user guidelines (re: information hold status).
C. Information Hold. If you receive an information hold letter, the items listed in that letter need to be submitted
to your project manager before your project can move forward for processing. When all information is received, the
project is “accepted for processing”

bmel I agree. Even with revenues, some companies have stagnated, like $POTN. With the BCC license in place, we may very well hear about other big developments, such as distribution deals, and revenues stemming from Mojave, Sacred, and Alpha.
Nov 2nd agenda posted-no GHC Ventures. The application is still showing information hold. Seems like it will not be slated for review until that hold is released. Things can change quickly.
I will call my contact and see if I am correct about this, that way when I see the hold lifted we can expect things to move forward.
The weekly chart looks good to me-dancing on the 50mda.

$LVVV one of the few shining stars today.
Over-reaction on the selling wise investors will add shares. I'm doubling my position in $HMLSF as this selling continues.

JD thank a million for the 411-makes sense. Hope you had a great weekend.
I believe this is a round of post "legal Canada" selling, combined with pre-midterm election jitters. Money should roll into the US MJ stocks soon. Hopefully we get some good PR's to accent the rising tide.

Only 6 green on my matrix of over 70 stocks-never seen it this red before. Stay tuned...........
I like Jon Taffer. We can assume that both alcohol and tobacco are on the decline. This will cause Big Alcohol and Tobacco to make a mad rush to enter the domestic cannabis game. Seagrams, Modelez, Coors, Anheuser Busch, Diageo, Heineke. Kirin, Asahi, Pernod-infused drinks are their plan, and the M&A activity once federally legal could be mind-blowing.
All of this will require distributors, clones, licensing-LVVV has the opportunity to be in the mix, provided they capitalize on their first-mover opportunity.
First-mover advantage
The analyst on CNBC refereed to this, and how the companies making their footprints now are ahead of the pack. LVVV is near the front of a very long line and has quite a few advantages when you consider the wide and vertical net Bill is casting.
In marketing strategy, first-mover advantage (FMA) is the advantage gained by the initial ("first-moving") significant occupant of a market segment. First-mover advantage may be gained by technological leadership, or early purchase of resources.
A market participant has first-mover advantage if it is the first entrant and gains a competitive advantage through control of resources.[1] With this advantage, first-movers can be rewarded with huge profit margins and a monopoly-like status.
Not all first-movers are rewarded. If the first-mover does not capitalize on its advantage, its "first-mover disadvantages" leave opportunity for new entrants to enter the market and compete more effectively and efficiently than the first-movers; such firms have "second-mover advantage."
JD question, buddy-and anyone else that wants to chime in: Do you think Bill will retain the Livewire name going forward, or will it change to reflect the GHC Venture concerns? They also need to update their company profile. On Etrade it still shows the energy chew biz. Any new investors will be scratching their heads. Has Bill ever commented on this to you?
Looks like a bakeover post-Canada. Healthy give-back on the way up.

10% Down tick on a 370k buy? Seems kind of weird to me.
Looking forward to when CNBC has a pass-around sess.
Aha! I thot it may have had something to do with compliance. That explains the Coachella Brands, Inc. site being down as well.
No problem-I meant to say "post-Robles license." She made it clear that not having the state license would not prevent them from granting it, initially :) See ya in the mornin'.
JD hey Bro, my contact in SLO did say that the state permit is a forward guideline, and that the Robles permit can be granted without it. It is a requirement that can be satisfied post-state license :)
Are you referring to a cultivation license?
On the state license issue, the CalCannabis site was a pleasant surprise today. No license for GHC yet, but I see that 31 licenses were issued yesterday-wowza-after seeing just a few per day, this is very encouraging.

The good news is that having the permit in Coachella is sufficient to obtain their state license-they don't need Robles for that. Most-likely LVVV will next get the state permit from CalCannabis. Having that, Robles can proceed unfettered.
Win win
Yet Robles has attached the state license as a condition for issuing theirs to the application. Seems that CalCannabis wants to see the local permit in place first.
Oye vey! No wonder they pay compliance people to do this.
Chicken or the egg, Man!
Bmel it would appear that yes, they can grow clones in Coachella. However. without the state license they would be limited in business scope to Coachella, CA only. The local permit basically enables you to cultivate the clones on the permitted premises. The BCC license allows you to transport them, and the state license allows you to transport them anywhere within the state of California.
So think of the state license as a umbrella, under which the cloning and transporting occurs.
I had to remind myself that your posts are for "entertainment purposes" only.
A few years from now, after Fed legalization and explosive growth in the sector, people will be commenting, "Man, what if you had bought back in 2018?"
"I know-my neighbor bought LVVV and last I heard he had bought an island in the South Pacific."
Might see some buys come in later-def.a "sell the news" day. We march onward.

You forgot to deduct for the narrow pathways for the Oompah Loompahs to tend the garden :P Actually, thank you. It is clear to see that it can be very lucrative, to grow clones. The vertical tiers allows you to max-out.
$LVVV now firmly number two on my stock matrix at +1800% gain since 2/10/17. $POTN number 1 at +3268%.
JD in my conversation yest. with Paso-I asked about future expansion and was told that if LVVV wants to go beyond 5000 sq. ft. they would need to amend their permit, once issued. The added "impact" on environment/traffic has to be re-assessed. Isn't a big deal she said, but going to 50,000 or more sq.ft.will involve some bureaucratic wrangling. Since I imagine that pick-ups of clones will be small compared to clones outbound, the distribution aspect needs to be factored into the day-to-day ops. at Paso.
I would think that the Paso operation would conform roughly to any type of agricultural venture, so no worries here.
Toddini no kidding-the guys that have the booze routes make bank, and the contracts are very lucrative. I worked for a distributor of Snapple back in the day and that guy made millions.
I am monitoring the situation in Paso Robles closely, especially the current status of "information" hold. The county portal only allows the status to be monitored, but does not list the reason(s) for the hold. The site states that any other information must be obtained in person at their office. This may change. When I see the hold released, I will promptly report in.
I'm guessing that we give back 10% today-sellers of the news as usual. Selling pressure will build as those who came in the pop exit.
I believe the PR released today has a nice, hidden benefit-Bill elaborates on the distribution license as key to LVVV/GHC's operations, but also as a service in itself. Companies will need licensed distributors, and with that comes royalties and fees.
Nice perk!
Thumpa this is correct. The license from CalCannabis is required to grow the clones, the BCC distribution permit is required to transport the clones.
This is from the GHC Ventures application, listing the addenda required for them to issue the local permit:
Permits / Licenses / Approvals Needed:
State cannabis nursery license from the California Department of Food and Agriculture
Seller's permit from the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration
Cannabis cultivator permit from the State Water Board
LSA Alteration Agreement or Waiver from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife
Building and other related permits from SLO County
