I'm looking for a Good first entry here...
And on my charts, I use Linear, not Logarithmic...
Set your posted chart to Linear, and that will explain what I say below...
Unfortunatly, I missed yesterday's run, but am Very interested in taking a position here, so will be watching closely tomorrow to try and pick a good entry...
I will be patient, and see what develops tomorrow, as the last two candlesticks on the daily chart are close enough to the formation known as the "Dark Cloud Cover" described in the link below, to advise caution IMO...

treepeople...Those new numbers in the IBox show...
That PBLS is currently UNDERVALUED to a tune of 3X to 4X !!!
WOW!!!
So that means if we go with the 4X number, we should be worth .12 instead of .03 And if we go with the 3X number, we should be worth NO LESS THAN .09 right now...
OK, I feel a whole lot better now...Thanks...
Can anyone explain why...
After the last two PR's, we get a nice little pop, and end up closing the day in the RED? And at or near the LOD...
Could it be that both of the last two PR's were kind of "fluff", with NO real hard numbers, and only projections of what "may" happen in the future? I get the feeling that this one won't go up until they actually announce that they have signed a "CONTRACT", with FEMA or the USACE or a Huge Contractor, and supply some "REAL" and solid numbers as to how much this contract is Worth, and how long the contract is For...
I have to be honest...I am NOT happy with the way the stock traded today...The CEO has been quoted as saying that acquisitions will be funded with cash, and if stock is offered, it will be "restricted" or "preferred" stock...It looks to me like they sold a bunch of "common" stock today to pay for today's acquisition...
Many here claim that it is nothing more than "accumulation" going on here, and if someone can explain how they think this is actually the case, I hope you would post your theories on the matter for the rest of us that are uninformed...TIA

That's the NEWS on PBLS...
We've all been waiting for...I especially like this paragraph:
"The company has also added additional human resources to pursue work through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and regional contractors that have been assigned work in the disaster relief."

PBLS NEWS OUT!...
COVINGTON, La., Oct 06, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Phoenix Associates Land
Syndicate (Pink Sheets:PBLS) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of 3-D Builders, Inc. in a deal for stock and cash, in an effort to increase its construction division capacity in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita.
Phoenix management anticipates that the acquisition of the residential construction company will add over $2 million in revenue and be accretive to earnings in the current fiscal year alone. These estimates do not include revenue that could be realized from the post-disaster rebuilding effort in which
CNN.com, subsidiary of Time Warner (NYSE:TWX), has reported that between 140,000 and 160,000 homes need to be leveled and rebuilt in and around New Orleans.
The company has also added additional human resources to pursue work through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and regional contractors that have been assigned work in the disaster relief.
CEO, Paul Alonzo, commented, "We continue to aggressively scale operations through strategic acquisitions, particularly within our construction division, in order to fulfill the immediate construction related needs within Louisiana and Mississippi. Additionally, we are pursuing all avenues available to deploy
as much of our 100,000,000 tons of raw sand, gravel and soil as possible to use in the rebuilding of the disaster stricken areas."
The company is working on and anticipates that it will have additional acquisition and rebuilding-related announcements in the near future.
This is GOOD NEWS!!! It's time to GO UP!!!

You went WHERE???
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel.
There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.
The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've Arrived
Date: October 16, 2004
I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in.
I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then! Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
P.S. Sure is freaking hot down here

Missed Opportunity...
A priest was driving along and saw a nun on the side of the
road. He stopped and offered her a lift which she accepted. She
got in and crossed her legs, forcing her habit to open and reveal
a lovely leg. The priest had a good look and nearly had an
accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily reached over and
slid his hand up her leg. The nun looked at him and immediately
said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?"
The priest was flustered and apologized profusely. He forced
himself to remove his hand. Changing gears, he let his hand
slide up her leg again.
The nun once again said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?"
Once again the priest apologized, "Sorry, Sister, but the flesh is
weak."
Arriving at the convent, the nun got out gave him a meaningful
glance and went on her way.
Upon his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to retrieve a
bible and looked up Psalm 129. It Said, "Go forth and seek,
further up, you will find glory."
Moral of the story:
If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great
opportunity.
Bad boss...
A sales representative, an administration clerk, and the
manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp.
They rub it and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke. The
Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one."
"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world."
Poof! She's gone.
In astonishment, "Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal
masseuse, an endless supply of pina coladas, and the love of
my life." Poof! He's gone.
"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, "I want those two back in the office right
after lunch."
Moral of the story:
Always let your boss have the first say.
You're Welcome Newly2b,
If you have any extra outputs on your display adapters, and want to add more monitors, just repeat the process...
I recommend setting the screen resolution on both monitors to the same settings....1024x768 is a fairly standard setting...
If you play video games on your PC, I suggest you disable the second monitor by unchecking the "Display Windows onto this monitor", click "Apply", click "OK", as some games will not work properly with both monitors running...When you are through playing the games, re-enable the second monitor...
Just minimize the window and drag it by the title bar to the monitor you want it on and maximize it again...
Newly2b...
If you have a display adapter in the AGP slot that has two outlets, you can run both monitors off it.
If you want to use both display adapters, run the primary monitor off the one in the AGP slot, and the secondary off the one in the PCI slot.
Either way, all you have to do is: plug the 2nd monitor into either display adapter, turn the computer on, and after it boots, your original monitor should work, and the new one should be dark.
Then, (IF) you are running Windows...
right click on the desktop on your original monitor,
left click on "Properties",
left click on "Settings",
there should be two monitors showing...
click/hold and drag the #2 (new)_monitor into the position you want (above, to the right, to the left, of the original monitor)
Then check the box below that says "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor"
Click: "Apply"
Click: "OK" It should fire right up...then you can set the screen resolution and color quality for the second monitor...
That should do it. I have four monitors running on three display adapters, and if you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to ask...
If you are not running Windows, disregard this post...
Worse day at the market...
Bad day at the market...
Yep findit...All this waiting for...
Nothing...eom
I pick the 49er's to lose to the Colts...eom
blasher--what's "FGWC" mean? TIA...eom
Excellent Post! Waverider...
I've bookmarked that website...
Now all we need to do is: find out how many of these are publicly traded companies, borrow a few million dollars, and invest in ALL of them...LOL...
Still no reply from PBLS...
Alonzo said he would forward my email to the Manager of Bayou State Trucking-Mr. John Zornes, as it would be his responsibility to evaluate my offer, and take any action if he deemed it to be of any value...I'm not real hopeful of anything coming of this, but hey, at least I tried...It would have been fun to go shopping for trucks for them, and to get to drive the big trucks again on a part-time basis...I don't get out much except to the lake and it would've been cool to cruise around and see the country again...not to mention being able to be a bit more on the "inside", and Know what's really going on down there with them...
I decided not to email Alonzo with a request to "chit or get off the pot" as far as putting a PR out for us, as I'm sure he's got better things to do than pamper shareholders...I'm sure they'll put out a good PR, when HE deems it's appropriate...and I'm sure nothing I could say to him would do anything to speed this process up...Such is life...
They had a really BAD day today...
Down .35 -24% because folks have finally realized that Chapter 7 is a definite possibility...And the CEO is arranging to bail, but end up with the Patents, and screw all of the BK Creditors...Not for sure if this will happen, but it is a possibility...Too bad, because it's a Good Product, but Management really sucks big time...Made all kinds of promises to do things in a certain time frame, and hasn't done one of them...I'm all out with a double but could have had a four bagger, and glad I finished exiting the last shares a couple of weeks ago...Shame on the MESS...
C'ya
Hey Bullrider...Thanks for the Welcome...
I remember you from the CPTC Board...Always crackin' us up...Man that stock is in BIG trouble again...I sure hope you aren't still IN that dog...
C'ya...Time to get to the store and buy more...
Cool, call Fidelity too...lol
I'm sure glad that bad buy wasn't me...I haven't done ANY DD on this one, and now that I look at it (the charts) some more, I dunno...Better make this a quickie...I'll know more about MRKL tonight...The chart looks pretty bad, with more possible downside??? I hope not...
