Have to repost. Haven't posted lately because CWRN is now taking care of itself and I no longer have to research to rebuff somebodies misrepresentations.
I haven't seen anybody mention the shorting .From memory 12 million shorted last Thursday and 55.5 M as of yesterday-regsho.org,subsection ORF. Short squeeze coming?-hold on.
I'm not mean enough to short but why would anybody be shorting in the present beginning of full production buildup to the 11-20 B.O.D. meeting, especially as we may hear further confirmation of the previously announced intended 60% buyback of the float.
In reply to a post this morn re a possible buyout(poster mentioned 1$/share)why would Bob immediately turn around and sell when it took 5 years to make this successful production and the value will increase shipment by shipment.
Was wondering why stock crashed immediately after my positive post but when I looked my post was immediately gone-amazing!
Nobody to my memory has mentioned the blue chip advisory committee which may help guide into more transparency/higher classification.
SEMPER FI grunt and new guy
Correct
I agree. Just call them and ask them-thats what they are there for.
They erroneously debited my account by 75 dollars once when they should've credited 75 dollars on top of other mistakes on their part- thus putting account a few dollars in the negative when I first opened and didn't have margin yet and then sent an alarming greatly over exaggerated email that I had to liquidate stocks or something(without saying why)-got it straightened out when I called them.
Have your info in front of you because trying to talk to people who don't understand what happened themselves-like brokers-can be like swimming in quicksand.
Yes I know but did they arrive at the mineralization intervals from visual observation or did they sample every inch of the core or at least every inch of the noted intervals? I realize the drilling was some distance from the surface samples due to inconvenience of drilling the shallow water prior to freeze up.
Brokers in general don't like penny stocks -they consider them a hassle and openly and rudely speak against pennies, even though they make more money from penny traders tendency to execute trades more frequently.
A major brokerage in late 2009 told me Scottrade was no longer going to handle penny stocks-at that time many blogs were asking why they could no longer trade their penny stocks through Scottrade. Some brokerages require you to call in orders on some pennies, providing banal warnings against what they consider to be the more risky pennies-I've never encountered that w CWRN though.
When I tried to transfer penny stocks from one major broker to another, the receiving broker rejected the receipt, saying they don't accept transfers of penny stocks, even though I held some of the same penny stocks at the receiving broker.
Choice trade has been the most friendly to pennies and allows stop loss orders but as of Nov 30 their clearinghouse is going to levy a surcharge on trades of over 500k shares.
This is one of the reasons why China is no longer able to dictate the price of iron, which it was doing until late 2009 or early 2010.
At that time there were web articles re what you mention and China's important Australian suppliers and others began standing up to China re the price.
Thus the open spot market for iron began in earnest late 2009/early 2010-and so the CWRN PR's during that era emphasizing CWRN would be using the free market spot price, which was about 3 times higher than the price previously dictated.
This is partly why profit margins on iron production can be so high now and no doubt factored into CWRN's ability to obtain a major financial backer,as indicated by the millions in equipment since August.
That depends on your definition of "buying window" and the psychology of all other investors and potential investors. You are assuming everybody else is going to ignore the news and take a laissez-faire attitude.
I've been watching this stock since the spring when it shot up from ca .03 to ca .235. At the time I couldn't believe the movement, expecting the run to end long before it reached .235.
I can't believe how little response there has been so far but many have not heard the news yet and this may cause many bench warmers to get off the bench, including the previously vacillating institutional investor sjls, who, until the last couple days had disappeared,as help me reported.
Like many I've been puzzled by the previously reported assay results, considering them very strange. I've noticed from other mining company reports that some(maybe all-I don't know)only sample the core every 1.5 meters(meters-not feet). This seems very odd, for such a sampling could totally miss intervening veins. So I wonder what sampling interval was used for Wolverines cores.
It makes a big difference. If the permit was not issued in time to do the IP before winter, what could the company have done until spring??
They have been counting on the IP results to tell them where the second phase of drilling should be. They planned on drilling this winter but the window for the permit vis a vis weather was closing.
If the company had not been able to get the permit in time and could not proceed for ca 6 months can you imagine where the stock price would have been before activity resumed in the spring?
Without regular news and activity all these stocks do is drop.
No the permit had not been issued and many were afraid it would not be in time for weather conditions prior to winter-that was one of the reasons depressing the stock price. So this is great news-we don't have to wait til spring for the IP.
This should cause a good rise, even in this twilight zone of penny stocks.
Excellent post.
Since Riso has permanent amnesia re anything good,a previous post-via purported email from Bob-indicated mag sep will arrive Nov 15-20. Don't remember Bullitts exact figures but believe mag sep could process a 35000 ton shipment in ca 1 week w 2 shifts,so it could ship this month as per todays PR-the superfines going via container ship, while dredging for the larger Panamax dry bulk carriers is completed in Dec.
Other than very large etc oil carriers the Panamax ships are the largest general shipping-sized to enable Panama canal transit w max allowed draft of 12.04 meters(ca 39.5 feet)and 60000-80000 ton capacity,19% of bulk carriers.
The next size bulk carrier-to be initially used by CWRN for the larger size ore-are the Handymax(35000-59000 ton)representing 37 %of dry bulk carriers and/or the-"Handysize"class,which carry 10000-35000 tons,34% of bulk carriers, with presumed smaller draft-thus used until larger vessel dredging is complete.(see Wikipedia under dry bulk carriers).
To provide perspective, once dredging to 15 meters(ca 49-49.5')is done,Ensenada will be one of the deeper deepwater ports. Most older deepwaters are only 40'(includes many U.S. ports-sized for Panamax carriers w 39.5' draft),w newer deep ports ca 50'. Though its difficult to find depth info on ports.
Another definition of "deep water" is 7m or 25' or more-any less is considered "recreational".
Thus, one of the ten busiest worldwide "deep water" ports is only 7m(in China) and San Francisco only 30 feet. The deepest I've found on the west coast is Long Beach(next to L.A.)-upgrading to 53' by extending terminals farther out.
As ITMD pointed out CWRN certainly has the capacity to run 1.5 fully loaded 75000 ton ships/month.
I know you still promote Wolv everyday in your column but is this changed wording in your daily alert going out after market close today?
Many of these stocks illogically crash even with a litany of recent good news-such as MYFT (which I guess you sold) I wish someone could explain it(as if they could).
I haven't been able to make money in this market despite countless hours due diligence,economic/acct degrees and 2 doctoral degrees.
Despite 100's stock screens I've not been able to find one stock consistently rising and when I find one,it starts falling. I hope this isn't the future of our countries. I guess thats why some are parking their money at negative interest and just waiting for eventual inflation, due to feds tripling the money supply-but nobody has noticed because the banks are hoarding the 1.8 trillion infusion and corporations and consumers are hoarding cash also instead of spending.
Bob looks younger here-after a long hard fought battle everything is falling into place.
Catching up on the messages,I agree w what I.T.M.D and associated posts have been saying.
Would make no sense to have R/S at this point now that production is in full swing. Besides even if they were(and there no reason to)any share structure items would be handled at the 11-20-10 board meeting.
High volume partly due to mm games and a lot of flipping(as Riso admitted he was doing)because this is now a happening active stock w promise.
Once a larger pool of investors learn of actual production that should be a big boost.
And at some point the nervous nellies will no longer be nervous-at the latest when riso and company reverse tune and start promoting this when their companies have acquired enough and played this flipping etc game as far as they could play it.
If Bob gets excited enough now that production is occurring he may surprise us w a PR but would not expect one till after the 11-20 board meting as killswitch etc pointed out.
A LOT of activity has been occurring in the month to month intervals between PR's and they aren't more frequent because Bob has obviously been very busy and does not yet have an official PR department.
So much activity has been occurring that he could've put out ten PR's/month in the last few months if he had a PR dept.
If you follow the excruciatingly slow progress (over years)of other development stage junior mining companies you would better understand the enormous amount of activity that has taken place in the last few months. The first mention of equipment was not until the Aug 6 PR and look at all of the equipment on site now.
The stock is incredibly artificially depressed given all this activity but as mentioned at some point the log jam will have to break for good.
In my rush to catch up ca 4-5 days message boards in a short time,I made a couple mistakes in the message I'm "replying"
to.
Since the shallowest part of the Panama Canal passage is 41 feet(in a lake which either cannot be modulated further or they have not yet chosen to do so),and Ensenada is dredged or being dredged to 15 meters(ca 49 feet),then Ensenada would qualify as a deep water port by Panamax vessel standards also, and I have now found Manzanillo in a list I didn't see before,(but of course it isn't in Baja,so Wikipedia's statement that Ensenada is the only deep water port in Baja would still stand)and I think Bullitt or somebody said it was approx the same depth.
Since Panamax vessels are manufactured(limited to)to specs that allow them to transit the Panama Canal(probable max of 40 feet draft),they certainly can berth at Ensenada, which is dredged ca 8 feet deeper than that portion of the Panama canal.
To avoid any confusion, because I know Ris. gets confused(and I was laughing real hard at one of his posts and my reply to it as part of the reason for these mistakes)CWRN iron does not transit the canal-it goes straight west to China(notwithstanding technicalities re the international date line)-a much shorter distance than east coast iron which transits the canal to China,as well as West African iron, which probably goes around Cape Horn(though I haven't done the math on that-Ive seen shipping charts and think such goes by way of Cape Horn to China).
This is only important in reference to the contention (by somebody who believes the pictures are fake too)that Ensenada is not a deep water port-the contention/point of the one I'm talking about being that somehow Ensenada could not handle the shipments.
The Panama canal limitations really impact the Panamax manufacturers,so there are plans to deepen the canal by 2014,though as we all know in such projects there are often delays.
In my prelim research some ports claim to be super deep or true deep water ports of 50 feet, even though some of those "true" deep water ports claims are known to not be true for various reasons.
Since you have said you know more about mining than anybody else on this board surely you know mining companies have big equipment called washers that can be used to remove the dirt from the tested 63% iron. The valley equipment company CWRN is buying the mag sep on a rush order from shows several pictures of large washing units on its website. I mentioned that before.
good to hear from you again grunt. SEMPER FI
I'm agreeing w you in saying the following ,which has been said before but some dont get it:
-Except for the first 5 miles, which is a secondary Highway that borders CWRN's site, the rest is their biggest Baja interstate-that's one of the reasons its called Highway ONE-a straight shot into Ensenada, with only one turn to the port along another major road and port is only ca one mile or so from Hwy one-couldnt be much simpler.
As CWRN said on the website, one of their requirements in looking for a site was one within 100km(62 miles)from the port. My trips program said it was only 51 miles from San Vicente to Ensenada and CWRN is about same distance to Ensenada ,as we've discussed.
Re Riso's point re the mag separator I inferred and Bullitt confirmed that a mag separator was not a requirement for the initial stated contract of 50-125mm or so iron-lumps too big for a separator,so riso is nitpicking over things he either refuses to understand or,as is typical, doesnt care about the facts as long as his employer keeps buying stock cheap and then dumping it when the price rises-and then riso blames his companies dumping on CWRN as I suspected he would.
Again if the company wanted to raise more than pocket change they would have done so long ago instead of waiting for the 52 week lows we have generally experienced in the last few weeks.
Look at some of the other junior mining companies-all the ones I've followed have had similar or longer delays.
And their stocks jump at much more preliminary stages, such as the suggestion of induced polarization etc before those companies even know whether they have any ore in the ground.
Look at the progression of equipment since the FIRST mention of equipment in the Aug 6,2010 PR-the progression since has been rapid if you sit back and take a look at it-its only from a day to day perspective that things seem slow.
Equipment delays are not unusual and are experienced by most companies.
The Oct 25 date was not a shipment date -if you look closely at that PR it was the time at which they expected to have enough material crushed for shipment so they could start rolling the trucks without fear of having to stop the trucks prior to having a full ship.
You are right-if his wife will kill him, that's the greatest assurance we have.(In the U.S it is reported women already own or control 70% of the wealth-a far cry from WW2 days). I'm glad he found a good one at last and that's good for the shareholders, since they get along and the 2 companies are therefore not bound merely by legal documents.
There were also such projections on the yahoo board around May 1.
I believe thats why CWRN ran from .001 to .0071(a seven fold increase)over a few days to May 7,2010-- because there wasn't any PR at the time. To simplify, people just took the estimated tonnage expected this year times price divided by total shares(including the restricted shares).
Longs mostly held because the scuttlebutt was that this was going to 3 cents within days at the time and thats what it looked like.
surebob will not be convinced by any amount of proof,as he has a vendetta as pointed out by others because of violation of some agreement w Bob apparently 5 years or so ago at Manzanillo-he previously suggested the pictures are fakes-dealing w such a person is only for entertainment value or to prevent nervous nellies from being overwhelmed by his vendetta.
As he did re Ensenada as a port, such people generally ignore the valid points we present that can't be refuted and attack the points on which they think they can buffalo us,since we haven't done research on CWRN 24/7 for 5 years.
BTW,re discussion about whether Ensenada is a deepwater port, the Wikipedia encylopedia says it is-as follows:
"Ensenada is the ONLY deep-water port in the state of Baja California and is part of standard shipping routes that directly link it with the Mexican cities of La Paz, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Acapulco and Lázaro Cárdenas, as well as the U.S. cities of San Diego, Long Beach and Los Angeles, the Guatemalan city of Puerto Quetzal, the Chilean city of Valparaíso, the Japanese city of Yokohama and the Chinese city of Hong Kong."(emphasis added)
Although Manzanillo is a port also, I could not even find it among comparable listings of ports.
Elsewhere a deepwater port is that which can accommodate a fully loaded Panamax vessel(so named because it has been built to specs to allow transit of Panama canal-which at its shallowest has a depth of ca 40'). As per that definition,Mexico does not have one deepwater port along the entire pacific ocean, according to preliminary research.
vendetta's advantage is they have nothing better to do and it's had for honest people to match that timewise when you have other jobs,so they just try to wear you down w their misrepresentations, which take time to research to rebut.
It should be obvious to honest people this isn't a scam by now. If people look at the steady progress since June, where could a scam go from here -would be an awful lot of work and expense getting all that machinery and doing all that work just to make some money off the stock. The labor and machinery costs would greatly exceed what they could make off the stock at these low prices.
Seems there would be a lot of easier ways to scam people, like buying a partial interest in a casino, which would be a lot less labor intensive. Or if I want to be politically incorrect, falsely claiming to be a member(on your great great great great grandpappys side, three times removed and diluted to 1 in the 10 to the 509th power) of one of the groups who are literally reaping 1000's millions in reparations from the U.S.govt for past "injustices".
In my opinion they aren't being honest and either have a vested financial interest in pushing the stock down or otherwise manipulating to their advantage or have a personal vendetta. Second worse case of bash... I've seen. Companies that aren't making progress don't get bash..
Every stock I've seen that starts making progress gets bash..
which therefore is actually a sign that most of the bash... know progress is being made except maybe those w a personal vendetta cant see past their angry glasses.
By continually attacking CWRN, Risos company has probably acquired scores of millions of shares very cheap-from .0002-.0007 or so,so they could have dumped shares to make a profit today, knowing this would go up again. Doing so is also a pattern of discouragement used by the more sophisticated bash...
Since they are pathological liars,if Riso claims the company was dumping that would confirm to me the company he works for was doing the dumping to make a flip profit.
They try to get you think the company is dumping to get people to sell more shares cheap to them so they acquire again. They know that if people believe their lies that the company is dumping that they have won the discouragement game. Remember that they don't assign the head bash.. to a company unless they know the company is a gold mine- figuratively speaking.
Re my statement that Manzanillo was farther from a deepwater port I got that info from Ensenada etc websites claiming Ensenada was the only deepwater port on Baja's west side. I'll have to do research on Manzanillo's port.
Thanks to Bullitt,killswitch,i.t.m.d(what do the initials stand for?)and the rest who have tried to keep this honest.
Interesting info that Bob and Sharon are married,if true. The only picture I've seen of her is standing in front of the new crusher(are there 3 crushers now?)and she looked pretty young(saying anything else about a woman is pretty dangerous anyway).
Again, as i.t.m.d. said, there is a lot of new equipment, including the crusher she was standing in front of in the pictures CWRN sent a month or so ago,and companies don't lease expensive brand new mining equipment.
If pisquero(haven't heard from him for a while)still lives near the CWRN site perhaps he could take more pictures this week as production ramps up,especially when the trucks start rolling.
I love you Surebob-lets party-sometimes these games get so ridiculous you have to laugh-our own private twilight zone.
The question has already been asked and answered probably scores of times. This is NOT Manzanillo.
You are trying to change the subject to focus on something in the distant past of doubtful relevance in order to control the discussion. This is an old trick that gives an irrelevant unfair advantage because very few people are acquainted w Manzillo(Man) so that gives you free reign to twist what happened with minimal downside of people discovering your mistaken view of what happened.
As has already been pointed out, did CWRN ever have this much equipment-doubtful;or contemplated moving HQ(to San Diego)to be close to operations. Also Man was a long way from a deepwater port. There are a lot of other differences also as I am sure you are aware but wont honestly report because you so obviously have a vendetta against CWRN and want it to fail.
What happened at Manzanillo is irrelevant for many reasons already answered, and we cant trust what you tell us,especially now that we know you are a disgruntled ex business partner or employee who apparently violated some agreement(you havent even denied this).
Remember what killswitch? said about surebob-that he was kicked out by CWRN because surebob violated some agreement,so surebob has strong motive to see CWRN fail and may be harassing and trying to block progress behind the scenes. Which may be why things have been delayed from time to time. When some of these people get arrested for violence against CWRN we wont have to hear from them anymore.
9-30-10 PR specified 50-125 mm iron-an unusually large size.
The 10-29-10 PR states "the 3mm by 18mm iron ore fines"
Are there 2 contracts? Or does one contract call for 2 different sizes-but then there would have to be a separation of the 2 sizes on the ship or a different ship for each size.
Or did an initial 50-125mm tentative contract(previous PR said "tentative" contract) get superseded by a final 3 by 18mm contract?
I don't know that it matters, except I speculated the 50-125 mm contract may have required the larger size only to be washed(the ore is reputed to be 64% iron),not magnetically separated, thereby reducing initial production cost but also bringing lower per unit price than finer ores.
Which might explain the mag separator story. If a new contract was inked for 3-18 mm size that may have required the mag sep and so it has been rush ordered.
If there were 2 contracts that would explain why trucking(presumably the reference to mining trucks refers to trucking to the port beginning)could begin next week before mag sep arrived, unless they expect mag sep arrival next week also, depending on when it was ordered.
With the ability to crush a ship load every 5 days and with a new crusher on site for over a month, there could be multiple ship loads crushed already, which would allow for 2 simultaneous contracts as well as the noted uninterrupted trucking.
Just providing a positive possibility re the mag sep story in opposition to attackers negative twists.
www.valleyequip.com is the Salem Oregon co website-it provides and manufactures a wide variety of mining equipment, showing pictures of many types of mining equipment.
I'll probably get attacked by a certain poster ,unless he has already had a heart attack due to the recent positive news.
Riso is the head bas.... He is assigned to stocks to push price down so his employer(knowing there is a major financial backer and the breakthrough has been made)can buy cheap and profit when shares skyrocket-- and his employer helps control the timingvia the message boards.
He attacks other stocks also but CWRN apparently has been his top priority for the last few months-meaning his employer sees a bigger profit in CWRN than any other company at present. Eternity will show the foolishness of selling out for a few bucks.
in my opinion .
10-25-10 Target date riso erroneously keeps referring to was not target for 1st shipment in previous PR -read it closely-was target date for enough materials to be crushed for 1st shipment,so there would not be any trucking interruptions once the trucking began.
And what difference does it make as long as trucking is about to begin.
As far as delays, show me a company that hasn't had delays,as we all have had in our own personal lives.
There has apparently been a major increase in equipment since the 1st pictures by pisquero(spelling?)and the company.
Different contracts specifying different iron ore sizes have been mentioned, including one to my surprise with larger size iron(for an apparent lessor price)that may not have required the magnetic separator. That's the only reason I can see why separator has not yet arrived(unless a previous order for it fell through)-because apparently everything else has arrived.
About time the good guys won one in this crazy game.
Many months ago my friend and I were going to do a regular stock newsletter that focused on undervalued stocks as per the fundamentals and I had already written the first newsletter.
But we saw that in these uncertain times the posts that came out of the woodwork to attack any company that made progress were controlling the market via their culture of fear.
In other words, they, with the aid of nervous nellies who bought their fear/lies and would thus flee,(not realizing this situation would occur with any penny stock that tried to make a breakthrough)were controlling the market-not the fundamentals-that is why the market-especially the penny market -is so illogical.
This is what is responsible for many stocks crashing, including imo CWRN. Ever since it became evident in June that CWRN was breaking out of the blocks, those self interest groups have heavily attacked it and steered investors away from the stock, thereby artificially altering supply and demand.
So even though CWRN has made much progress since June, those self interest groups have controlled the CWRN market via their constant message board attacks-steal,kill and destroy-a scorched earth policy. In uncertain times it apparently is easier for most to believe the negative lies than the truth. This is destroying the penny market and making it difficult for honest investors to profit.
So it is a circular argument to thank those who are largely responsible for the stock crashing.
BTW,the first company I wrote about in that newsletter-the most undervalued stock I've seen-because it was the most attacked by self interest groups, had a book value of 2.12/share but the self interest groups had knocked it down from one dollar to one cent despite 100 Million gross and 2.2 M net income. Most pennies trade 10 to 50 times book.
By the time I reply to this -I've been busy elsewhere-somebody else may have answered this, but this has been answered in posts before. Mexican law requires the operating company to be headed by a Mexican national(Sharon)so Bob and Sharon have legal documents documenting their relationship vis a vis CRWN and its subsidiary.
Thanks for the info-you wonder what he motives are behind some of these individuals and why they don't move on to something else-especially after years.
I earlier copied a post from another IHUB stock from willy wizard re the motives of posts that attack the company-which was removed though it didn't refer to any poster-and the reason you gave was one of the reasons why some attack these companies incessantly, like RISO-who has completely taken over the yahoo board ,which blocks new investors and decreases price until breakthrough news. The honest guys are now just waiting for the monthly update from the company I think.
Some never learn. AS previously abundantly noted,CWRN(which is South of Ensenada-Tijuana is north)is only 50 some miles from Ensenada with all but a few miles on the biggest interstate they have and therefore heavily patrolled, especially because Ensenada is a tourist destination for southern californians and tourism is important to the govt.
Besides as previously reported what would cartels want with "worthless"iron they cant sell or smoke?
Done nothing?
What do you call the following,as already abundantly previously reported:
1)CWRN has identified a source of iron ore closer to China than most of the worldwide iron China is gobbling a short distance from a deepwater port-thereby reducing costs to a minimum
2)through various previously explained methods has identified many millions tons reserves at low cost
3)has obviously obtained private financing
4)has obtained the equipment shown in the pictures-some refuse to acknowledge any of these things
5)production activity is shown in the pictures
6)pictures show sharon standing in front of a brand new tracked crusher on site
7)at last report,tentative trucking(reported available)and shipping contracts.
Most companies don't get this far. How sad to be so focused on a past operation so many years ago that picture etc evidence of production from multiple sources is denied. This is not manzanillo.
I can see certain people standing over Edison as he was trying to create a workable light bulb saying:
"You are not going to succeed. I will not allow you to succeed.
You Edison are a failure-you've even lied to your investors by telling them you succeeded when you don't even have a working bulb. I don't want you to succeed because I like the dark-I feel at home in the dark'' I don't want anyone to succeed.I'm comfortable w failure until I see somebody else succeeding so I have to attack and deny their success..."
Bob is surely not my God but my God requires truth and honesty, not an agenda to destroy everybody else, just because some have an agenda to destroy/slander CWRN-- because they belong to one of several categories of people, including disgruntled ex-investors.
I have spent 100's hrs researching stocks and this honestly is the one with the best chance of partly making up for losses resulting from organized attacks against every other company I invested in any time they had a chance for a breakthrough.
Due to this culture of fear, stock prices are being influenced by such organized attacks rather than by the companies fundamentals, which eventually destroys the entire stock market.
When a critical mass of people attack any company that has a chance the only people who make money are the shorters. That is what has been occurring in the last year due to the culture of fear created by certain self interested groups, taking advantage of these uncertain times.
Thats why regulatory agencies prohibited shorting in certain financial sectors during the worst of the recession because they were helping to precipitate the financial crisis/recession.
It would be better for people to find something to believe in rather than engaging in a destructive personal vendetta, which can only destroy the one engaged in the vendetta.
I love you surebob-lets party.
RISO,ARE YOU WORKING BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET-buying up shares of CWRN cheap for your employer and working w a cartel????
Since I don't have any experience working w cartels, what would they want w what your fellow bas....would call "worthless" iron.
As soon as their chemist told the brainy cartel workers that they couldn't smoke magnetite or process it into drugs, wouldn't they lose interest in "worthless" iron?
Are you saying they extort the mine companies? If so,why bother with "worthless" iron when you can concentrate on more valuable minerals and larger companies?
Why focus on a company just a few miles off their biggest highway in the area a short distance from a major tourist town w an army and naval base, especially when that hwy is heavily patrolled in the short distance from Ensenada to CWRN?
WOW!!!
CWRN must be more valuable than we thought!!!
Thanks for the heads up-I think I will buy some more.
Are you admitting CWRN has something so valuable that the cartels would overlook bigger companies and silver and gold etc companies to concentrate on poor little CWRN?
WOW!!!
No wonder the company you work for is buying CWRN and has employed the head ba----.
Sometimes you have to find the humor in these ridiculous games.
A market maker is a company, or an individual, that quotes both a buy and a sell price in a financial instrument or commodity held in inventory, hoping to make a profit on the bid-offer spread, or turn.[1](from wikipedia).
The brokers (etrade, ameritrade, choicetrade etc)route their orders to market makers, who attempt to have sufficient stock in companies to fill the brokers orders.
There is an IHUB article on market makers and the games they play either on this board or if not here I believe on the IHUB MYFT board.
You can find a listing of mm's at otcmarkets.com/pinksheets/market activity/market maker data.
Each stock has a certain number of mm's who trade in that stock, except for stocks that have no mm's(and therefore are considered unsolicited bids and may not be liquid),and the number of mm's dealing w a certain stock may vary widely from day to day,but you can usually find the mm's dealing in a specific stock at the otcmarkets.com site.
As I noted in a previous post CWRN is close to the largest tourist city in the area(Ensenada) and is only a few miles off of Baja's main highway.
Therefore it is highly patrolled(tourist income and safety of tourists is important to the govt),not only with federal police, but there is also a navy and army base in Ensenada.
And this area is not known as a drug cartel area. The problems are usually concentrated in the eastern border cities, the mainland, and especially mainland southern Mexico.
This is not about me,it is about how people operate and the dishonest picking apart of every detail re CWRN.
Many people don't even remember the things they say or the promises they keep or get distracted etc,or something else comes up. I go out of my way to keep my word but I don't see that as an m.o. among homo sapiens.
THE OBVIOUS POINT was the unnecessary incredible picking apart of this company on every little detail-usually because they have an agenda to push price down.
Extremely few penny companies ever break through and when they do they are mercilessly attacked on the boards by various self interested groups that don't want the company to succeed-the resulting clutter steers new investors away and wears at old investors, inevitably leading to a decline in stock price-whick is their purpose.
They try to push price so low that a company can't raise necessary start up funds in an attempt to destroy the company and then they pretend they are looking out for others interest when it is their own interest they are pursuing.
The week of the Aug 6 PR ca 6 companies I was following said they would have an update or acquisition etc to report the next week. None of them followed through within their given time frame and some still haven't posted a PR.
THE POINT IS THAT THIS IS TYPICAL OF MOST COMPANIES AND PEOPLE and people w an interest in seeing CWRN fail are trying to hold CWRN to a standard I haven't seen ANY company or person meet.
The expression "can't see the forest for the trees".
Both CWRN and independent people have posted multiple pictures of very expensive machinery on site;CWRN specifically selected iron concessions within 62 miles of the only deep port in the area(Ensenada);various methods have shown the existence of large amounts of ore on site and trucking and shipping contracts are being finalized.
At most mining companies the big question and the effort is merely to determine IF there is ore and then solve the question of how to raise money to determine if there is ore and then raise money for machinery etc.
Here those big questions have been successfully answered so those who want CWRN to fail are dishonestly picking apart trucking details(trucking is not rocket science)etc, getting peoples eyes off the major breakthroughs that have been made-a purposeful tactic called distraction/sleight of hand-the old magicians trick.
9-09 refers to Sept (the ninth month-hence 9) and ninth day. The current year is presumed if the third year ordinal is not expressly given-that is convention.
Since my posts referred to recent activity I thought it was additionally understood as this year and the filing is available on otcmarket.com. I indicated on another post that the filing was made in the last month(i.e,within 30 days )at the time of the earlier post.
Yes,hopefully goodbye to illogical panic selling. The company has good fundamentals for the price and companies with a full (otcqb)otcbb classification believe they have a good future or they would not subject themselves to the additional scrutiny and cost of the highest otcbb classification(except for the 2 or 3 dozen mostly foreign(ADR)companies in the otcqx).
Usually price builds when people know a quarterly report is about to come out and it should be out within several days,so hold and don't let cheap bidders steal your shares cheap.
In the last hour or so,pinksheets.com posted NT10Q,indicating the company will file 10Q within 5 days.Since penny traders love to obsess on the negative,it is very common for penny companies to be late in 10Q(due ca Oct 15),even those w 100's millions income.
The recent sell off, especially todays, is ridiculous. After a promotion, there is often a dip as the fly by nights chase the latest promo, and this is exacerbated by the typically low bidding on Mondays.
If you look at yahoo key statistics, you will see book value is .04/share as of last 10Q report.
Pennies usually trade 10 to 50 times book, indicating current price is greatly undervalued. I challenge you to find more than a handful of pennies w this low stock price vs book value.
Low float(real float estimated at 11 million on IHUB post)and 2.346 million stockholder equity. Many pennies have negative stockholder equity.
BTW,this is a full quote otcqb company-the highest otcbb classification, except for only 2 or 3 dozen mostly foreign blue chips in otcqx.
As explained by a recent PR by KBLB, otcbb fees for mm's have been increased recently so many mm's are funneling these trades via the pinksheets system-thus the pk used to access the quote for some of these companies presently even though they are full quote(otcqb)companies.
maybe you just made a typo but I was referring to the very recent Sept 9,2010 filing(which was mentioned by recent PR---not 2009
I've had this problem many times and had the same strange conversations w brokers, recognizing they were either ignorant or pulling my leg. On a several cent stock,I've many times seen large orders(over 100k shares) fill at .001,totally bypassing the bids.
This often seems to happen on a stock where the company has made a breakthrough that isn't widely known yet,so big boys w brokers in their pockets? or mm's etc come in to buy, expecting the stock to appreciate shortly.
One of the brokers explanations was that a firm may have sold shares internally to buyer in house but that doesn't explain why any seller would sell for up to 100 times below posted bids,so I gave up talking to the brokers about this-they didn't care and it was like talking to quicksand.
