Nice call on CWST! I looked into it after your post last week and have a nice little swing trade on my hands. Could have some room to run yet.
SOLD MY GNW AND FAS WAY TOO EARLY TODAY! DARN! HELD MY STEMMIES WAY TOO LONG YESTERDAY! SHOOT! ISSUED A LITTERING CITATION WHEN I DID NOTHING! GOLLY GEE! I NOW SHARE MY OFFICE WITH MY WARCRAFT-ADDICTED BROTHER-IN-LAW! KAPLOW! HE PAYS ME NO RENT...but he's killing the druids as I type.
Oh well, at least my wife is taking me to see brit spears and the pussycat dolls.
Hayz! Just put a smile on my face after a terrible week
#2, we drop
That's encouraging for a gap up tomorrow. Let's hope this gamble pays off.
Unbelievable...you go on some rant about his spelling and can't even spell "grammar" yourself.
I'll be much more likely to put my money in if they do crush this market in the next couple of days.
Exactly, two employees, but it seems overhead is a bit steep considering Dr T hasn't taken a check yet. I'm also a bit concerned by the suits but think this may be one of several reasons for the increase in AS (legal fees or settlements). The parting with TKG seems unfortunate as well.
This one definitely isn't a scam, but the measures taken to keep things going for a financially strapped firm aren't always in the immediate best interest of shareholders. Another major concern for me is the breadth of the product line. I've seen other products...but I've not seen anything that looks to replace Thermo revenues in the event of an unfavorable judgment in the Exegen suit. Remember, the wording in that one is at least $75,000.
I took some off the table recently but am still holding a bunch. For me, I held more than I was comfortable with when the increased AS news hit so I dumped some for peace of mind.
It's at least due for a technical bounce, if nothing else, when the T-trades stop. When the filing comes, if we're hoping for a SP boost, they better disclose more than the Q4 and '08 financials. AS increase purpose, Q1 guidance, BV clarity, exclusivity status, future retail accounts, etc.
JMHO
Without being a full blown cheerleader, I think most speculators would benefit from a bit o' stem cell play in the portfolio. I know many have had quite a run, but nearly all are still below the "pre-Bush veto" levels. For trading purposes, take some off the table after the official announcement but let the profits ride for the next four years. The stem cell era is young.
.14 has held so many times I've lost track. The bonds are priced as junk but the backhaul industry overall should be a good play for the next few years. I'm long at .15 and will take profits at .20+, letting some ride for a five-bagger in the event FTWR makes it through this downturn. T, VZ, S- all are banking on wireless for future growth. Stops set at .12. GLTA.
The known float...yes. Buying in at this juncture, I'd highly suggest taking a few profits on the eventual bounces. IR says the issuance of shares is almost done- but then again, ole Ron has said a lot of things. Pink sheets, AS increased five-fold, etc. Acquisitions??? That one I find hard to believe for a firm struggling financially. The sad (or good, depending on your stance) thing is that they've provided enough legitimacy and clarity to show it's not a typical P&D scheme so the "promising unknown" element of many pinky runners is not there. The good aspects are highly speculative. The wild card, IMO, is the supposed 50% of BV revenues in the retail channel. There seems to be a lot of overhead for two employees so that straight income would be nice to get ASFX to profitability. A lot of unknowns, but such is life in pinkyland. JMHO, from a not so strong long.
Seriously...what's with all the bashing on ZYXI? Regardless of the product, timing has everything to do with any investment. I don't care how great the MAC or IPOD is- if the timing of the buy sucks, then you'll be SOL. GE? A nice dividend...until it gets cut. Some invest, some trade, others listen to Cramer and go for dividends, but timing is of equal importance for any play. Still others- they buy in after a 400% pop and make excuses for why they're down. We all have our concerns about the AR, but that's reflective in the share price already. It looks to me like they've gone ultra conservative in their accounting in order not to disappoint. The CEO has plenty of contacts (and distributors) in the EU. IMO, we're just getting started. I'll take my chances from here.
Okay, time for ASFX to bounce. I've sold off 7 million shares today so that usually mean go time for the stocks I own. I learned from GNTA though...which is exactly why I'm still holding a bunch of ASFX.
Hope you all picked up some bargains today.
That seems to come later in the day with this stock.
Ch 11
OS may possibly be as low as 300 m and a lot of it held by a few individuals
asfx looks ready, just a little more volume
ftwr lookin good to move
ftwr starting to move
Per the Walgreen's site, 5 of the 20 closest locations to me are sold out. Lotta kids (& moms) in Utah so this bodes well for ASFX
2 million shares after the close...
FTWR held .14, looks ready for another pop
.44 might be pushing it but when I saw that I wondered if you put 'em up there.
yet again, the ah .22 gets hit. what gives?
ftwr, a continuation of today
ftwr
Strange...considering my open order at .004. Same thing happened yesterday.
Anyone have thoughts on backhaul play FTWR for a swing trade? Took a major dump in the last half hour of quadruple witching and hasn't come back despite some extreme volume on sideways days recently. TIA.
Okay, I just discovered this board but I'm lovin the top picks because I've found bottom fishing to be my favorite gambling style. Sometimes I have to double or triple down but it typically pays off. Thanks for the picks & keep on posting them Stock2windaily!
FTWR +43%!!!
FTWR, +20% with > avg daily vol already in. Bit late to the Jan party
FTWR def starting to turn...great backhaul play
2433
I'm sitting on 1.865 million myself.
...and IMO, that's the max amount of technicals to look into for this play. It's pretty rare for a trader to hit a home run due to the greed factor. DD & buy when out of favor...works for me...but I don't always catch the bottom. That's when I usually buy more.
For DD, anyone know of another firm with mass dilution after an FDA denial? Just curious to see the chart...
Thanks for the welcome! While no longer referred to as the Creeper it still moves at the same slow rate. In fact, it runs right past my subdivision but I don't feel like I live right by "the tracks". Been living here almost four years and love it! Re AFSX, hoping for another first hour lull to pick up a few more but I think those days may be in the past.
I've been accumulating for some time and am looking forward to riding this one. Quite rare for a pinkie to show such promise but I can't wait for next week! Seems the good news is coming in one big wave ahead of the annual meeting. Cha-ching! I appreciate the input in my two months of lurking!
