Thank god it's Friday...I'm ready for blast-off.
Because I don't buy into the Globetel Superhub fantasy I'm a manipulator? WOW....I guess the same could be said about anyone who's bearish about General Motors & Ford Motor Company.
Moreover...to the degree you dislike short sellers....just be glad someone was willing to offer liquidity. Those of us who borrow stock have to replace it at a later date.
"the punishment inflicted by shorts"
You fail to understand how the stock market works. The PPS was affected by the supply of shares available. Please do your homework before making such statements. The current PPS is 100% related to Globetel management actions and how they were interpreted by the market.
TIA & BOL
Globetel Corporation has been a fabulous investment. You see you just have to know which end zone to run to...fortunately I've won the Superbowl by going to the opposite endzone.
And like a Lombardi, a Walsh, a Belichick it pays to watch the game film, to run the drills, chalk out the X's & O's.
BOL
I completely disagree with this statement. Try owning a stock with good management, real products & services, real earnings & real projections.
Try it...you'll like it!
Risk...let's simply take the SEC investigation @ face value.
Valuations. If in fact they overstated valuations, it's fraud. To deliberately place a value of an asset on your books in excess of its current value (under GAAP rules) is illegal.
Why would they do this? Perhaps to beef up what we already know is a pathetically weak balance sheet? To some how draw unsophisticated investors attention away from the ever expanding negative cashflow???
Make no mistake...they're in real trouble (well beyond their deep rooted & weak present financial state).
BTW, it's GTEM not GTEL.
My Discounted Cash Flow Analysis says....
.04 by Friday (GTEM)not necessarily this Friday...but after the thing goes to court. Of course BK is a real possibility.
"What will ERHE be worth then?"
How do you value cash flows going forward? Hopefully with more analysis than $4 by Friday.
Well there you have it...Globetel couldn't name them either.
Just a small detail when one performs real DD.
Have a nice day
Perhaps you could provide us with the names of the "top tier" Euro banks who were part of the "stronger than oak" LOC.
TIA
Nerd...sorry to rain on your parade.
What don't you get?
When a company fails to deliver on their own hype investors sell...even some (if not most) of the same sycophants who previosuly pumped the charade have now closed out their positions.
You claim manipulation. But answer this; just where did the endless supply of shares come from???
TIA
Nerd, perhaps we can agree that a top-notch CEO should work productively and in the best interests of shareholders. You seem hell bent on hanging onto a stock which has neither.
Best of Luck
I'd be more intrigued to know who's working away at WHQ on your behalf this Saturday morning. The average Fortune 500 CEO works 70 - 80 hours to week...guys like Jeff Immelt (GE) work 90+ hours.
Are they putting in the OT? Are their faces marred by the dust & sweat of corporate laboring???
Just how hard are they working to restore investor confidence & secure new avenues of funding??? Or, are they simply planning to roll out more shares (further dilution) just to meet their top heavy payroll?
"3. what is going on with the deal ih Ghana with Giant Int'l.?"
When he responds, please ask him for a Republic of Congo update too. If you recall, Globetel was exploring Superhub options for this country as well.
TIA
iLiguecom.br UPDATE Please
Perhaps Nerd could update us regarding the profitability of Globetel's Brazilian platform.
TIA
Well it's Friday, been waiting patiently all week! Today must be the day. Come to Pappa!!
"That is unless your willing to open you wallet and loan the company money"
Isn't that the point Nerd??? In all candor for years now Globetel pre-Dumas...Dumas & post Dumas has painted a very bright picture as to Globetel's prospects and "just round the bend" profitability. Soooooooo...with so much to gain...why didn't the past and now current insiders float GTEM a loan???
Let's take Timmy: He paid himself handsomely...does he own a house? If so...why not pledge it as collateral to raise some much needed cash??? He could legally loan the company money and collect interest...even @ 12% it would represent a solid investment.
They have two sources of funding available - private equity and the issuance of more shares. Isn't it about time they risk some of their own Doe Rae Mi??? IMHO, their unwillingness to "pony up" a few million (with 65 employees, the BOD and other Friends of the Firm)speaks volumes as to their future.
Isn't it interesting Cole how the pumpers grasp for the blimp as hope but never will acknowledge the dire state of finances?
Let me be clear, not withstanding the legal / SEC situations, GTEM is in serious financial trouble. This cannot be refuted. But please Nerd...go for it!!
It's all about the cash...not the blimp.
BOL
Unfortunately you can't get blood from a stone...but that doesn't mean they can't sue the BOD / officers of the company.
They'll wind this thing down and squeeze the remaining cash out long before it ever goes to trial.
Please indulge me in Mr. Huff's corporate benevolence.
Let's see...a tinnie / winnie company with very poor capitalization who's only means of liquidity is through shareholder dilution collects a salary of $500,000?
How much is $500,000 to Globetel Corporation? Well...the last Westcor fleece just two months ago only raised 1.2 million pre IB fees....caused you and your ilk further dilution meanwhile the share price has tanked some 15 fold from the 12 month high.
He was the man @ the helm during everything you already know.
I'm sure Tim is a great guy to share a beer with...probably can sink a jump shot too...he's not fat and can talk a mile a minute.
He was miscast for a CEO position in a emerging growth style company. Great @ selling the sizzle not the steak.
What troubles me....who put him here and failed to reign him in ? One can't help but consider that there is no steak and Timmy knew this from the start.
All the best to you and your pal Tim.
Well Vern, it's called perspective.
GTEM's former COB is back from sabbatical...wasn't he the chump that hired Timmy??? Does he still have the pony tail & Miami Vice wardrobe he sported @ the AMEX bell ringing?
But I digress, all is well...capital - not a problem...irons in the fire...a blimp on a stick or strings (at least one covert pic has been captured).
Conversely....delisted from the American Stock Exchange, a pending SEC Investigation, negative cash flow a plenty....not much in the bank account...no assets to leverage through formal lines of credit, BOD resignations, new "temporary CEO", a strong likelihood of additional shareholder lawsuits. ZERO credibility on WallStreet.
You're right...there is no better place to park one's money...could I please borrow some more shares.
BOL
New Management - Employee Loans
Anyone have any thoughts as to whether new management will try to collect on the outstanding employee loans?
It would seem to be in the interest of all stakeholders.
Thoughts???
TIA
Risk, even in the wild west world of the OTCBB...it's problematic to issue more shares with a pending SEC investigation(especially when it's been stated they concern valuations). Not saying it's impossible to raise more cash via stock sales (i.e. further dilution). But keep in mind...the credit markets are off limits. Tangible assets are virtually non-existent.
I suppose Westor Capital Group might have another view.
Why doesn't Mr. Polish COB loan the company some of his "Uber Wealth"??? He certainly sounds optimistic of a turnaround.
wrong entity buck-o...Infinity Capital Partners.
Don't forget his other trading vehicle...Infinity Partners.
Risk, the cash burn is greater than ever. I suspect someone might subscribe to an OTCBB offering. But that looks pretty "iffy".
BK in 3-6 months.
JMHO
Huff Severance Package?
Anyone know the details??
It depends. Did His Excellency Ferdinand resign from the BOD to "free up his calendar" so he could assume CEO responsibilites?
There's a tremendous difference between allowing a balloon to float on a stick verse independent flight. They'll be out of business long before that ever happens.
JMHO
Look a little deeper...it's the same cast of characters calling the shots...Kostro, Westor, Infinity and a few others. This was the first pump of many attempting to inflate the liferaft.
Brilliant question - why are they in this situation with such "hands on" global expertise available?
Perhaps the question should be - why don't they return the overweight fees they charged Globetel to the shareholders???
I'm sure Kostro is as squeaky clean as GTE's books.
BOL
In A Word:
NADA
Nerd...please update me on the good news.
Perhaps you could inform me on ways Globetel plans to raise capital. With excessive negative cash flow, they won't be able to keep the lights on much longer.
Please advise.
TIA
Let me suggest that perhaps...and I only say perhaps...GTE was / is by design...something completely different. The brainchild of several individuals / entities who like GTE's shell predecessors produced no real products / services but survived and in a few cases profited from the "hype" of promises.
At what point do you say, "Where's the Beef"???
The pending lawsuits / SEC Investigation will hopefully shed a little light on GTE's mad cow disease.
BOL
Anyone have a clue as to what the Sky Dragon cost?
Also, I'm interested in the status of the Mexico SuperHub.
TIA
Risk,
It's really the only thing Huff ever made good on. Failing to meet goals and hitting the road.
But let's be honest. Something's rotten in Pembrook Pines.
I respect your opinion Frank...but I doubt it was that simple.
Decisions @ GTE were not made in a vacuum.
The unholy alliance of Infinity Partners, Westor Capital Group and all the other meaningful stakeholders were consulted. This was a calculated effort to salvage the store.
I'm sure you're right. "Mr. Huff Voluntarily Resigned". Why should any investor question the veracity of this statement when compared to previous GTEL / GTE PRs?
But I think you're right...he did resign...anything to prop up the value of his shares. He's not that fat a cat anymore and he'll need the funds for pending & future litigation.
Thanks for the amplification.
I don't pretend to "believe" anything Mssrs. Huff & Dumas report, however Timothy did state late Spring that the stored value card would be EBITDA positive by close of 3rd qtr.. Now I suppose that for anyone who enjoys a good conspiracy theory ...this was all part of a larger criminal enterprise to artifically inflate the PPS due to the constant bombarbment of "telco / finance" synergies underway. Make of it what you will. I suspect the revenues of Magic Money are indeed less than Magically.
JMHO
Magic Money Card Update Plleeeaaassseee!
Huff promised we shareholders that the Magic Money Card would be EBITDA positive at the end of the 3rd quarter. Since I tend to value things on free cash flow going forward...could anyone enlighten me as to the status of Magic Money?
TIA
