Let me suggest that perhaps...and I only say perhaps...GTE was / is by design...something completely different. The brainchild of several individuals / entities who like GTE's shell predecessors produced no real products / services but survived and in a few cases profited from the "hype" of promises.

At what point do you say, "Where's the Beef"???

The pending lawsuits / SEC Investigation will hopefully shed a little light on GTE's mad cow disease.
