Yes, since I was looking at imaged documents (TIFF's I believe) (and not the docket sheets), it was not possible to cut.
That's what PWI will do.
I have accessed some documents from the federal court's PACER system. Viewing them online required Accordex JAVA TIFF Viewer, which I downloaded into my browser. They amount to nearly 400 pages (which I do not want to print at home on the ink jet and would rather print next week at the office on the laser). Since I do not want to have to pay the PACER fee a second time to access the documents, I am trying to print them to a file. When I print them to a file, as opposed to printing the hard copy pages, I am unable to read them. Does anyone have any kind of idea what kind of program I need to open and read them?
While it appears that they are being printed as prn files, nothing I have will convert them to either images or readable text. I am wondering if they are being printed to a file as TIF images.
All help appreciated

I'll be out of town, but absence seems to be my way to win a wag.
I suspect, but do not know and am only speculating, that if they had any or enough evidence to charge him in any of the other things they think are suspicious, they would already have done so.
Unfortunately, any knowledge I would have of interesting stories would be privileged. There does seem to be plenty of new interesting stuff being published -- after the fact -- but as with most media reports, I would caution that they are generally woefully incomplete, if not frequently flat inaccurate.
It is pretty rare, however, for someone (not already convicted of something else) to be acquited and then get taken back to remain in jail. It has to be the ultimate good news -- bad news situation.
Now it is time for me to get a couple hours sleep.
I agree and I and others have mentioned it before. Bob has explained that messing with the preview screen is a real can of worms, i.e., more trouble than it is worth. If you search this thread and-or Q&A for submit/arc will will find my suggestion and Bobs full response.
Edit: try these posts.

If one's two cents is worth something, then eight boards must be four times as good. A real homerun in the .02 category. Maybe they are so used to insane numbers of shares that they thinks posts work the same way.
but it seems to me the prosecutors should have included the lesser charge of manslaughter.
In hindsight, there is no question that they might have been better off to have done so. Then again, based on listening to about 30 minutes of the jurors' comments about the case, it might not have made any difference. Of course, had they done so and had the jury found it to be involuntary manslaughter (recklessly causing the death), they (and many others) would have second guessed whether they should have just stuck with murder.
In this case, both sides independently made a strategic decision not to request submission of any lessor charges.
For what it is worth, Durst still faces the bond jumping charges, but it is unlikely now that a jury would give him the maximum (10 years) for skipping out for two months on a case for which he was acquited. The really smart strategic move, again in hindsight, would have been for the State to try the bond jumping case first (without question the easier of the two cases) while the murder case was still pending. They would have likely gotten better results than they will get now since he has now been acquited.
The Durst case was not one needing better prosecutors. The State team that tried the case was very competent. But, even good lawyers can only do so much with the facts they have.
I personally know every member of the defense team and can tell you they are outstanding lawyers. DeGuerrin and Ramsey are among a handful of the best criminal trial lawyers in the State if not the country. Robert Hirschhorn, now in Dallas but originally from Galveston where the case was tried, is in my view the best jury consultant in the country. He also assisted in picking the jury in the Will Kennedy Smith trial in Florida in 1991. When folks need the best, they hire Robert. Without question, Durst had one of the best dream teams ever assembled. In my view, it far surpasses the OJ team.
As an aside, and in the interest of full disclosure, and without getting into too much detail, I represented Mr. Durst in relation to matters in Galveston arising out of his bail bond forfeiture (not the criminal bail jumping charges) so I am at least somewhat biased.
While the jury reached the right result, it is always important to remember that we never see anything close to the full picture based on media reports. The jury, on the other hand, had the benefit of seeing the actual evidence and not just the media sound bites.
One final comment about all criminal trials -- and not specifically about this trial. Just because a jury finds someone guilty does not mean they are guilty. Similarly, just because a jury finds someone not guilty does not mean that they are not guilty.
On both the civil and criminal sides of the street, there is a lot more pressure to resolve cases short of trial. The system just does not have the resources to handle the quantity of trials that it used to handle. One of the beneficial effects of fewer trials is that cases that need to be tried are getting tried much more quickly than 5-10-20 years ago. For example, 15 years ago in Houston it was common to wait 1-2 years for a misdemeanor criminal trial and 3-5 years was not uncommon for a civil trial. Today, most misdemeanor trials occur in 3-6 months and waiting a year is rare. Most civil trials occur in 6-18 months and a three year old case is rare.
Processing cases through the system more quickly is generally beneficial: it saves everyone time and money and gets some kind of result and closure much sooner. Litigation should be an event, not a life project.

Glad to see you guys catching on to the birth year wags -- that is what I have been doing for a couple weeks. Matt also did it once a couple weeks ago.
Nahhhh...that one started at over .01. Even discounting that, however, for every one that someone is lucky enough to get the big one day pop in, there are 100 or more others that end up permanently below .001.
That said, who would not wish they had backed up the truck at .018 and sold at .15, or even .075, in one day. Lightening can strike anywhere, but I would seldom bet on it striking any specific place.
How can almost any comment about any stock trading at less than .01 be serious and worth the time to read it, much less trade it? But, maybe I am over generalizing.
Sorry you feel the need for whatever reason to make it personal. It is tempting to reply in the same tone, but it is not worth my time. I had my say and said my peace and am done discussing this with you.
Were it not so, business would be much slower.
Without having any idea what you are talking about, you felt the need make this personal why?
A very revealing non-denial, but that is how all good spammers do it; right? Claim it, perhaps even off the record, then when it is written, just say you did not write it. A literally truthful denial and the best of plausible deniability. I suspect that is why the IHub spell checker does not recognize "deniability." Perhaps Bob should be issuing some subpoenas for the ever present reporter's tapes -- before they show up with a few minutes of silence.
Not in here -- I don't even like to think about gulps and posts near these showers. Then again, it is a whole lot less crowded than last week. It does look like you handle that gun quite well.
Mr. Brown is a successful entrepreneur, and is the current owner of Silicon Investor.
Emphasis added.
Hmmmmmm. Does Bob know about this?
Actually, Walmart's corporate image pretty much sucks when it comes to litigation. They have been accused and found to lie, cheat, and cover-up to win. Someone who wanted an easy buck would not sue Walmart. They might ultimately get a buck, but it will be far from easy.
Your basic point, however, is well taken and valid, but Walmart pretty much deserves what they get in my book. They hardly make a poster child for lawsuit abuse -- unless abusing during the suit is what one means.
ROFLMAO..... Some might say that it looks like you are close to busting out (pun very much intended) on your own. I just want to know if the "gulp" occurs before or after you get "posted." There is nothing innocent in that picture -- thankfully.
With that get up, you may just get posted in here. Giddy-up. High-O Silver, away!

You rang -- but they should beware. After getting back from the Supreme Court, I am raising my rates. Plus, I am pissed I missed Fryday while criss-crossing the country. (DC-Chicago-Atlanta-Houston in 12 hours with 2 meetings in between). I will have to charge a "near frying" surcharge.
I think I have finally figured it out: Gotmilk is Russian. Check it out and see if it looks familiar.
http://bunker-sims.narod.ru/e-objects.htm
Some examples:
This is object which you so long waited!!! It is a calendar which shows yours sims current date. Earlier sims lived, and they all did not know, in what time live. But now, when it is possible to download this object, the fog of time will be gone... Except for it, the calendar calculates days of week (Monday is 1.01.1997). It not yet last version of a calendar - next one will be supplied dates tweaker.
At you never it happened such desire to reconstruct lot? Very much frequently there were no several "stools" - portals for visitors. And with road in general there were problems: the automobile could appear only in the place given originally, and anywhere more. Also many deleted PedPortals, in hope that neither the thief, nor the postman will not come any more... And back you will not return. Now, downloading this object, you can add unlimited count of Ped Portals, and also Car Portals!
It's nice sculpture, isn't it? You at once recollect the first love. But it yet all! Buy the sculpture and put in the best room: this object creates aura which makes sim happy and slowly raises his skills. If in a room two sims - the sculpture raises relationship! Download - in your house there is no family warm!
The objects improving motives... For a while... But only not this mirror!!! The Magic Mirror works in two modes: stops decrease of needs (until the user will not cancel it), and also increases all up to a maximum. Naturally, magic force which as well is charged is spent for it. In a word, download: it is very useful subject in comparison with others, increasing parameters! The instruction on use is in interaction "Help!"
RELEASE 2. Probably, many of you for a long time downloaded a picture "taxicab letdown" and a fruitcake increasing motives. But... If you already downloaded - REMOVE THESE OBJECTS! I have seen the table of functions, and there is a picture raises a level of friendship already right after purchases, and the pie increases at once all parameters of all persons in the house. It from the point of view of common sense senselessly. Love Painting Forever is already other subject. It can make friends (on 100) all without exception, only homemakers or only neigbors (without downtown sims). Precisely with the same the picture can do and opposite operation - make enemies. Except for friendship Love Painting Forever influences and on need - you can increase, reduce, level on the centre any chosen branch, or all branches at once. And also there was a function "make all happy" - for fans of the Fruitcake.
Want to make all town pee? Then this object for you!!! That it makes, probably, all of you have understood - forces all persons in city, houses, on island - to make a flood. But it too not - urinal can be used all on representatives of your gender, on the chosen person, or lol at opposite gender . In object author's bonuses are added: to beat everything, to burn all and to make Armageddon. In common, download - this toilet will bring to you many cheerful minutes!
IBox grubly updated.
Sworn to (and at) but not notarized.

Thanks for including my wag, but I am finally back.
Seems like the only times I win for the week are when I pick a number and then leave town. I also considered choosing 1969 for the week, since such derivations have been done pretty well: it also would have won twice. But, I decided to use a very good year instead of a playful number.
This really is quite scientific. Darts, anyone?
Thanks for the explanation. I'll save this one and resubmit it the next time you get a new server.
I thought that deleted posts came up with a "this is a deleted post" message. Those pages will not load anything.
I thought the last part was most excellent.
What in Hades happened to posts #msg-1699999, #msg-1700000, and #msg-1700001?

My immediate instincts were to quickly say, "Two letters: DQ."
However, after a little research, it appears that no one won since there is no post 1700000, nor a 1699999 or 1700001. I wonder if this contributes to the record posts? They do not even show up as deleted posts. I wonder where they went?
On the other hand, even though Phil slimily tried to change his wag, it also appears as though his original wag was likely the closest. If there was a post 1700000, it occurred somewhere between 9:26:50 and 9:27:25 PM on 11-5-03. That would make Phil's wag around 54 minutes less off than your wag.
The last timely wag post was #msg-1639605. It was:
11-05-03 11:05:03 AM EST....Phil(Bullrider)
11-06-03 08:23:55 PM EST....The Original dpb5!
11-07-03 11:07:03 PM EST....WTMHouston
At 9:27 p.m., Phil was about 10 hours 2 minutes off. You were 10 hours 56 minutes off. All of this assumes that my tired and PWI mind has not miscalculated any of this -- not necessarily a safe assumption.
Of course, if three out of four posts do not exist then we have not really hit 1700000 yet and I would likely be the real winner in a couple days.
Edit: Matt and Bob need to get on the ball. How dare their speel chucker not recognize "slimily."
Absowaginglutely
Who can't get by on 18 posts per day?
Come to think of it, I wonder who holds the record for most posts in one day. Maybe Guinness would be interested.
Matt: there is your marketing idea for the month or year: get someone from IHub in Guinness.
I thought about doing the same thing, but even lawyers have some morals and ethics.
