What do you, Admiral, have to say with regard to this:
"The company they are acquiring has recently obtained a NI 43-101 Technical Report on their property being acquired."
I have not seen you challenge the NI report itself, a key point in the favor of the value SNEY may have here.
Please focus your concerns on this point.
Sterling, do you think Admiral has any good points in favor of this being a scam? you say "this is a risk", and what are your own parameters to which risk is most keen to you here, i.e. just what are the risks in your opinion (of this being a scam, of this not succeeding, of buys below .01 losing along with any others...
I generally understand the pros here, but are there some "scam element potentials" here that we ought to genuinely consider/put down and see what the real risk to reward is? any comments helpful.
I am with you on this.
Correct me if I am wrong, StevC etc but..
I thought the rational for why SNEY got the Allied property so cheap was because they just wanted easy cash money now and let SNEY go after financing, do all the labor in the mining etc...
BUT now Allied management transfers over to SNEY? I am confused...if Allied thought this property was so great, really why did they acquiesce to SNEY instead of holding their own and doing it on their own, great profits etc? What does SNEY bring to the table?
I found it really confusing to be honest, but on the other hand I figured well at least there is something worth sticking around for?
I am confused by today's PR as well, given the seemingly cheap price (if the predictions of the land are correct, the optimists' predictions) that SNEY got for the concession and why Allied would "take over" SNEY key positions. I am somewhat at a loss...
Can someone more knowledgeable comment?
Cheers. After my catastrophe in QASP, a win in SNEY will/could be what saves me, helps to save me, or more, (if not worse...looking good though!)...go SNEY!
Tomorrow should be .01+ easily.
I agree: load the boat...another good day tomorrow most likely and week -- can't wait to see the MONSTER runs this should be capable of...watching for flip/pull back opp's,but don't want to be left behind either. SNEY...financing news forthcoming...then development updates...plenty to keep this moving from here, so cheap!
.04-.05 this week?
In case you missed it:
Great post! (and run today!):

Do you (or anyone) have a prediction on what the trading range for SNEY short term will be? I have not sold any, looking good now...just wondering how long this run might last? Chartists predicted the next resistance to be around .012 after .0085 was broken (broke today). Great day/week as was predicted!
It will be a good sign if you and stervc stick around for a while. How high can it go and when to take profits is the real ? Go SNEY!
I missed a quick profit on the last run and could have bought more down here if I executed better!
have a nice weekend and next week
www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ-75ZJWYwg&feature=player_embedded
.01+ next week.
I'd also like to hear those things as well, even though I've followed the news and so forth...it does seem odd.
I did the same and also holding 1.3M
Looking forward to a green week next week.
I bought more at .0057 -- I hope our red days will be much fewer (from this price point) going forward! The company does seem to have a lot going for it. Hopefully the market will realize this and we'll see appreciation to penny land.
This sucks...no bottom in sight.
If we are tanking on the news today, with no bottom yet in sight, how are we going to recover so fast? The news is there for everyone to see, and apparently they feel it is better to sell this than to buy it. Wish I sold yesterday...seems like a good company and promising developments, but the market is not reacting that way.
Why all the dumping? Do the terms of the acquisition seem unfavorable, with restricted and warrants and so many shares? Worries about future dilution with the high A/S? That it will take so long to get funding (they say a few weeks though) or produce revenue? Flippers bailing out in mass after today's PR? I'm wondering where this will settle...but the drive to buy shares and push the pps up seems to have dampened, unfortunately. Hopefully this will turn around...but at what point?
That's what I'm thinking. Flipping could work here and now, but either way you don't want to miss the next run by/during November (it seems per recent PRs).
Balamidas deserves the SNEY DD, especially conjoined with public service, award. Thanks to him a good number of us are in the green and (depending on future circumstance) possibly be much greener in pretty short order.
100+ Million in Volume today!
Upper Bollie Technical Stuff:
I by no means am an expert, but I've heard from a video chartist, as well as a friend, that when a stock goes above it's "upper bollie," people tend to assume (think knee jerk reaction) that the stock is going to correct and go down, (basically a self-fulfilling prophecy creating a sell-off or because it simply has gone higher than its real value whatever)...(and SNEY is 'way above' the upper bollie - and last time it did that (look to the past) it went down more or less after that)...on the other hand, I noticed that the upward bollie line is itself going up right away to the upside (now), and so perhaps our corrections will be minor -- hey we are closing UP twice on big volume now...(with seemingly meaty PR's leading into the forthcoming PR -- real value here! chances seem high as to the real value of this prospecting location and management team!)
That being said, tomorrow may see a little red for the day (a lot? -- I doubt it)...but is the story here so good (it really might be) that chartists can be somewhat thrown out the window here, and this really is a steal of a buy <.01 (let alone higher than that)?
I am impressed with SNEY's President. You should check out the webcast which interviewed him last March....it is still meaningful to listen to and provides background on where we are today:
http://www.thegreenbaron.com/Webcasts.htm
(look to the 3-9-10 entry)
another good day in SNEY land! More to come! PR forthcoming!
Thanks for all of your DD and helping to spread the awareness of SNEY - that's what allowed me to get in still pretty early, so thank you.
It is looking great, and I bought more this AM (at .0058 -- missed the dip, bought too soon), but I am also curious: How is SNEY paying for the acquisition with so much proven gold value? If it is that valuable, how were they able to acquire it? Just curious...sounds great though.
there was still plenty of time to get in today, I hope, because I bought in at .0054 and little 52's...and happy that it closed a bit higher at HOD...I am hoping the trend continues!
I took a chance buying at the high of the day -- I hope you're right :)
Looking forward to your DD report later. It seemed promising at a cursory glance and still seemed to be running, so I took a chance instead of waiting for a pullback -- we'll see if that was a good idea or not!
Go SNEY!
Thanks for sharing. I used to be in BIEL but got out while I was still in the green...and have seen it drop lower and lower since, although .01 seems to be a kind of floor for now, and I'm thinking this could be near a bottom? They seem to be selling their product abroad, so they have some kind of revenue and so on, with the potential for uplisting, FDA, etc...although if FDA declined that would hurt BIEL even with int'l sales? (but how much)...I'm not sure what is actually priced into the stock now....is it oversold or about right here? It seems like a decent (re)entry point, but then again it could be some time before it goes anywhere (or not).
They canceled the update or?
any known reasons for optimism?
IS Biel Looking good again? What's new for BIEL? Why the beatdown? FDA delays/problems?
are certain events/news expected soon, or is this just a technical play?
What is supposed to happen tomorrow?
I agree with Anvil and like his list. There is plenty to PR right now as a state of the union - my term. Anvil's list is spot on. A PR on any and all of Anvil's items would be very justified as an official update at this time, and obviously the longs hope there is good news on those points...and if not, *that* would be the rationale to stay silent.
I agree funding is most important.
Mineseeker is probably #2.
Mineseeker is doing its trials starting next Monday. We could really use an update by now. I think it's a fair assumption that Quasar has lost its bid on MS if we do not hear anything about our continued support of MS/etc into next week with that major development under way.
For now there isn't a floor to stand on. I hope so bad that the tables turn and the opposite happens -- there will not be a ceiling in sight.
(wishful thinking, but a guy can hope...I really want an update but hope there is good news to report...I think it's reasonable to get an update on the status of things in any case...it doesn't seem like that is a PR just for a PR -- there is a lot going on behind the curtain).
Silence from management means they are doing their job....and/or there is nothing positive to put in a PR (with regard to the state of the union, including future prospects).
If there really are good developments on the horizon, it would be great to hear about them (and unlike from DB would be more believable). Considering they don't have room to dilute, less incentive to throw us a bone I suppose. Everybody says how busy they are, but it is not that hard to release an update on the website or in a PR.
Problem:
Quote:
"PR will not move the stock and might actually hurt it."
Hmm, I wonder why...
That does not sound encouraging if it is based on a real assessment. Some say silence is a good thing. What matters is going on behind the curtain, not what is said or not said.
Based on the track record, well, you know...
We can hope for a better outcome under new management, but the jury is still out and may be for some time until we wake up with this at .0001 or much higher all of a sudden. This is a lotto play right now.
Jeff is receiving daily updates on funding. We have no updates whatsoever. Jeff please cultivate an atmosphere of transparency!!!
If PR's are too expensive, take up the poster's(s) offer to update and revamp the website and provide them there. To keep stuckholders in the dark in these critical times is not very nice, unless there is nothing nice to say -- I guess it's all a wash then! Hoping for better times ahead...we need an update...I don't demand news -- I simply want transparency!!!
Yes, more information is to be desired.
I believe Jeff will do his best to recover value for stuckholders, including himself, but I think an update as to just what is going on and any reasons for optimism should be given publicly in advance of potential accomplishments. How hard can it be to provide such an update? Well, you know the saying "if there is nothing nice to say, don't say it?" is that what's going on or??? where is our State of the Union? Jeff throw us a bone please...we don't need you to promise the world when you can't - just tell us why is funding promising if it is...what deals to do we have in our corner, what liabilities, prospects for funding, etc... give us some transparency please. All of us should encourage transparency here -- or do we wait for the big volume again and news released after the fact? or wait for the crash and the end? I think an update is in order -- it can't be that hard to release.
Problem: what if we do not recover? People hold out for the hopeful miracle and like Godot it never comes.
QASP managment can hope and bets on the fact that longs are so severly in a state of loss that they can do nothing other than cling to blind faith in the impossible and will not sell even though there is a severe lack of real evidence and reasons to think this is a good investment. People who buy this are buying a lotto play or based on insider info period. That's it.
I repeat = without a substantial update and solid reasons for optimism (which personally I doubt exist), there is no reason to invest money into this. All of us drank the cool aid and are doing our best to survive.
We seem to be in a brief reprieve from the death spiral. A week after inauguration, Jeff has nothing to say. I personally take this as an indication that the state of the union is not good.
People say "oh well Dean gave us false hope and new management just wants to report results" -- who in thier F'n right mind would expect results from QASP in its current state and based on the track record?
Failed funding attempts. Maxed out O/S to the tune of 1.5 billion shares. A new CEO who sympathizes with stuckholders because he is one...but who with big money gives a F about that? Jeff is an unknown quantity -- there is no way that he can get funds based on his credentials -- a Freakin' Ihub moderator for the dump of a stock he is the CEO of?
Can anyone tell me why QASP is worth 100 million vs. putting a fraction of that into MS or Apex directly? Why is QASP a good middle man?
It sucks that I am losing and will probably lose my entire investment.
I am tired of the kool aid pumpers, and I will not tolerate silence from the new management in the face of hardcore, justifiable skepticism. I am more an more sympathetic to Porgie's accusations of insider trading, and if another huge surge of volume occurs prior to news I am all in favor of prosecution. If there is something good to say F'n say it!
I am done drinking the kool aid. I think it is wrong for management to withhold information that would give us reason to be optimistic when there are so many reasons to be pessimistic. I think most likely we are doomed, and I think that is the probable reason we are not hearing anything...there is simply hardly anything positive to report (in the face of what we all know is needed -- strong reasons to believe funding will happen, which all the smart people think will not happen).
I am a stuckholder, so I am going down with the ship. I implore the new management for a state of the union address and maintain that in the absence of this we should assume that the union is not in a good state ...rumors and hope based on them has lost momentum -- shown by the weak volume today. The next round of volume is likely to be in the negative direction, without some reason to believe that is based in reality.
I apologize for rambling, but I do not give managment a free pass to say nothing until something good happens, especially when there seems to most no good reason to think that anything very good will happen. We need a state of the union address, just as we expect our president to give us, even if there isn't much nice to say, and I would argue this is especially true in our current circumstances.
I would implore all shareholders to demand a sate of the union address. At this time none of us knows what we own, unless you are an insider. This is simply a foul smelling pig right now. I hope for a recovery, but a new CEO that was an Ihub moderator and insider taking over hardly gives me reasons to smile. Just think -- why didn't Landreth take over the CEO position? I assume, at the least, that funding isn't so obvious.
I agree we need an update as to the current status of things, whether in the form of a website update or PR. We need to know what we own, and unless you are an insider we are completely in the dark. After the DB debacle, I think it is a responsibility of the new management to give us a state of the union update ASAP.
I agree we go up big or never recover. Let's hope for the funding. Seems like a long shot but still a chance.
