You know, pink stocks can be so attractive because of the potential to literally make you hundreds of thousands of dollars on just a few grand.
However, to find one that's actually going to make it is slim to none as I have come to find out. I am not going to invest in this crap anymore and stick to the major markets.
There's always a good chance to flip these stocks, but I always seem to get in after their spike.
In comes Cetek. Here you have a company that at one point had their PPS over $300 after a RS. Then the dilution started.
My guess is because of the public awareness factor. Who would pay $300 for a share of an unheard of company? You have to dilute to get the price down or else no one will buy the stock.
Here's the million dollar question. Supposedly, this company used to trade on the NASDAQ. Which case, they would have had to report their earnings.
What was their numbers at that time and can it give us an indication of where they are now?
Please, dont remind me about QBID. Apparently, the company is now going bankrupt. I submitted my complaint to the SEC, but I don't think anythings going to happen.
I guess a buyback would cause a company to make more money in the long run if people are paying more for a share. But to start a buyback in a company like CTKH would probably not help them unless they are getting public awareness and interest, of which, Cetek has almost none.
Orange,
I have a question for you. The concept of buyback comes up in almost every pink sheet stock I've been involved in.
I can see how this would benefit shareholders, but what's in it for the company?
If they spend $5M buying back shares, what do they get out of it?
Why would they dilute the stock with the intention of spending all the money to buy it back later?
No, it most likely won't get us anything. But, if it can send FO to jail, that's enough for me.
Oh yea,
What was up with that interesting spike to .0003 the other day for no reason? I have a feeling it was manipulated purpously for someone to dump some shares.
Hey Mr. G,
Yep, I filed a complaint with the SEC and I got a reply that said they will look into the matter.
Maybe if more people did that, it will get some serious attention.
The way they work is that they cannot inform me past that and now the whole process will be confidential. They say it's to protect all parties involved. Oh well, I guess if there's litigation we will hear about it.
You can't sell. There's no bid.
Good points,
We will just have to wait and see. Does Fan give up now with the GG's only a month away with a revenue of $35M?
You have to keep the thing afloat until that time. There has to be a way.
But, the other side says that this was inevitable.
Maybe it's time that everyone on this board sent a complaint to the SEC.
I don't know what good it will do, but at least it can help us blow off some steam.
I don't mind losing money from risks. However, I DO mind that we were all lied to about the state of the company. There's no excuse for lies and FO should not go unpunished for his deceit.
That's still cheaper than NY. I don't know what it is exactly, but cigs are over $7 a pack!!!
Last time I was there, my dad gave me $8 to go buy him a pack and I thought he made a mistake giving me all that money. He said, "Ha ha, you'll see". Sure enough, it came out to $7 and some change.
What do cigs cost in Texas?
LOL!! Thanks Penny it makes me feel a little better. Like some other posters said, this is a mom and pop operation. Or better, father and son...I got it... Fayiz and son (Key Sanford and son's theme music)...
I think FH has the right idea with expansion, but like cardioverter said, how long will we have to wait?
Well, at least one is still left...me. I did say that my dad's friend said $4-$10 by Christmas. In my defense, I never pumped anything he said, I just posted his words as his words and left it at that.
I thought it was more than optimistic and I could never get a reason as to why he thought that. He kept telling my dad that there's things going on that would drive the PPS up.
The more I think about it, the more I think that he knew about HT but grossly overestimated what that acquisition meant.
He also said that there was the deal with MOT that was being worked out, but that never panned out.
In the end, I'm sure there was some BS from FH that caused him to believe that.
You are so right about whenever Hilal does anything, the stock goes down. It is the strangest thing. You would think that acquiring HT would at least move the stock some, but nothing happened.
I wish I still lived in NY. I would make a trip to see him. Maybe next time I'm on leave I'll take a day and go see the factory. It's on the way to my uncle's house in Pine Plains.
I'm looking for any life at all in this pig. But there's nothing...ever. It's like a slide without the ladder to get back up on it.
Orange,
Do you think that this ever has a chance to hit .10? That would be sweet. Actually, even .02 would be nice since I'm avraged at .0019 with over 2m shares.
Here's a question...what was the O/S when the stock was at $300? Do you think dilution was the only reason the stock plummeted to sub penny? It seemed like it was a drastic drop rather than a gradual one.
What makes you say that? What is your evidence? What do you see that most dont? I have a few extra bucks and would like to put it somewhere for a return...
Actually,
That was someone else's idea, I can't take credit for it. I can't remember who said it...It might have been Willie.
I think the possibility of it being true is about 20%.
If it is true, we are victims of one of the biggest scams in pink land.
I agree,
We were all victims of financing someone's lifestyle. Frank was using our money for his personal pleasure and not using it wisely.
Go back and look at all the parties this guy threw with our money...Hey Frank, why don't you put that money towards the company instead of throwing parties? Can you imagine how much one party cost? I'd be willing to bet they were over $30K each. And those are the one's we know about.
I understand the need to build up PR, but you do that after you pay your bills.
I'm tired of this scam company. Fan is too little, too late. If he would have jumped in last year, I'd say there was a shot.
Someone suggested that there's a connection between Frank and Fan and this was their plan the whole time. Since Frank said his managment would never pull a RS, he got someone else to do it...I don't know if it's true, but it's possible IMO.
Fan does seem to want this company to succeed, but I think he inherited a dead horse and a lose-lose situation.
As investors, it is our responsibility to weigh the risks/rewards. However, we were lied to about the risks which is criminal.
Maybe if enough of us complained to the sec, they will take action.
I don't know but I put in a sell order for .0003 just in case it isn't. If I can get back 25% of my money at this point I'd be thrilled.
I'm not so sure that a RS would damage future shareholders. QBID R/S'd in the past and people still invested in it. If I remember correctly, there was an RS before...I could be mistaken, please correct me if I'm wrong. It is a very attractive investment after the selloff of a R/S.
A RS damages current shareholders. The flippers can come in after a RS and start playing it again. Longs get screwed, but the shorts will benefit.
The only immediate hope I see for us is if the gay games revenue can help. I think the deal was for $35 Million. Wasn't it? That's no chump change. $35M can solve a lot of problems right away and if just $5 M went to a buyback, it could put a serious dent in a long term buyback plan.
I think FO should have used the advice of your quote...quit digging (or diluting in his case).
What do you mean by "not an option"? Do you think it would kill the company?
Willie,
I emailed Richard and he confirmed that there was a filing for a RS and the shareholders will be updated soon. However, I don't know if this means the RS will happen or if it is only approved. He also didn't tell me the ratio.
Lucent put out a vote to shareholders 3 times to vote on a RS and they voted in favor each time. This has happened over a course of at least 2 years, if not 3. You'll have to go back and check. The last vote wasn't too long ago. It was within the last 6 months if I'm not mistaken.
However, the RS hasn't happened yet. I think it is more of an option they were looking at. Now it looks as if it won't happen since they're teaming up with Alcatel.
This might be the case here. The filing might just be an option. I don't think it means the RS is definate. I'm not sure what an SOS filing is, so I can't say. But, it is almost certain IMO. If I were Fan, the RS is the best move to make for the company. It totally screws shareholders, but what other options are there? I'd love to see a buyback, but there's no money for it.
Now, a great thing would be if they partnered up with someone. I've heard that a reverse merger has no negative reprocussions on shareholders like a R/S. If they can partner with Planet Out or Here, this all might work out.
What do you think?
Here is the email traffic from Richard:
I have received nothing from the company in writing confirming a
reverse
split, but it looks as though paperwork has been filed with the SOS of
Washington.
Once I'm given information from the company to disseminate, I will.
Regards,
Richard Brown

Comments: I'm hearing rumors about a 10000:1 R/S. Is this true?
I've never even heard of Scottish Sea Gypsies. But if they're part of the masses, I wouldn't think they're much different. I hate to stereotype people, but in this case, it's almost certain that if you meet a gypsy, you'd better be looking out for a scam.
The gypsy story is a little like our native indians. They were forced off their land and have nowhere to go. So, they have a free pass in Europe to go where they want and set up camp. Unlike the Indians, the gypsies resort to crime to survive.
Many of them are responsible for kidnapping babies so they can collect more welfare and bring the babies out begging with them to get more money.
There was a recent issue in Italy where a gypsy couple stole a baby with epilepsy and the baby died because they beat him and didn't know about his condition so they couldn't give him medicine.
My 2 year old daughter is over there and if that ever happened, I would literally go crazy.
If you go to the major tourist areas, they are the ones begging and trying to pickpocket people. The Italians hate them, but they are protected by the European Union so the Italians can't kick them out.
Anyway, this is all gee whiz info and has nothing to do with FH and Cetek. We don't have to worry about him being a bad individual.
That's interesting.
Alternative fuel is a hot topic right now too. One quote I heard when I was in HS is so true..."Necessity is the mother of invention".
I don't know who said it, but it is right on. We don't have alternative means of fuel because it hasn't been needed until now. With the EPA breathing down everyone's back and the oil situation, alternative fuel is a huge topic right now.
I heard on the radio that you can now buy home kits to make your own ethanol.
AMD is a company that produces alternate fuel and they report that they can't keep up with demands.
As far as ceramic turbines goes, I wouldn't know much about that. However, I am in the vehicle career field and ceramic car engines were being researched a few years ago. The theory is that ceramic blocks would produce a lighter, cooler running and more efficient engine.
The problem is that you still need metal parts inside and to get the two to work together is difficult. The ceramic materials couldn't handle the stress.
Here's an interesting article I found that mentions the turbines you talked about and that they're close to being produced. I would imagine that they would be a thing of the future if they can prove to be reliable.

The European gypsies are definately that way. Since they move around so much, they can't hold steady jobs. That's why they resort to begging and stealing.
After living in Italy for 7 years, most of the crime I saw was caused by gypsies or Albanians.
If it makes you feel any better, I personally don't think that FH (if he is a gypsy) is that kind of gypsy. Those people are more travellers and go from town to town to rob people who don't know them.
FH is fixed in place and physically can't go anywhere so he can't run.
FH might be a little shady, but he is definately a hard worker. Those gypsies you mentioned are lazy and try to make money by doing as little as possible.
I really don't think there's a connection here.
JMO
I just had a brainstorm...I can email wellstone and suggest they sell their cigs at AAFES (the military exchange stores).
Thank you for the clarification. I apologize.
It's interesting that Wellstone chose to not go the route of a safer cigarette because they found that people wouldn't be attracted to that.
Your thoughts on that strategy?
I hope they find a few big name stores they can hook up with like Sam's Club.
To all of you who attacked me for defending myself, I find it very hypocritical of you. Someone attacked me, so I defended myself against that individual and no one else. And the fact that my message defending myself is deleted, is even more disgusting and a disgrace to the mods.
But thanks for the laughs from all of your "exceptional insight".
I have a right to invest in what I want for whatever reasons I want.
Now, you want to attack religion which I never mentioned in any of my posts. This is very telling because it indicates that you have a hatred for those who follow religion. Who's the prejudice one here? Your statement that religious people don't have to think is about the most prejudiced, insulting remark I've heard.
I said nothing against gay people at all. I didn't make one condescending remark, one generalization, or one attack. Unlike those that decided to attack my belief system.
You are overly sensitive and need some serious psychiatric help if you actually live your life like that.
I don't know why I even bother replying to this because my attackers minds are obviously locked into a certain belief system which is not open to tolerating others beliefs. And the ability to comprehend is obviously beyond my accusers.
I would love to debate this in an open forum anytime. However, this is not the place for these kinds of posts.
I disagree. They are just under 5B shares. I believe that .20 is possible if the right conditions are met. There are many major companies with about that many OS and have a PPS of way over a dollar. Granted, they are major companies like IBM, LU, T and some others, but the concept is my point.
You are correct in that dilution has killed this puppy. If they stop now, it can climb. If not, your prediction of a RS will be necessary in the future.
I know that I'm not putting one more cent into this thing until I see profits.
Yes please. Thank you so much. I didn't send you an email, it must have been someone else.
You can email me at bronxhulk@hotmail.com and I'll get you my info.
.20 is possible, but not by Dec. This company is in financial trouble right now. They don't have near enough subscribers to keep them afloat by year's end. However, I am hopeful that they will have the subs they need to keep it going due to the CC deal. Right now, the stock thrives on hope alone. The dilution is killing it. They are diluting because they need money.
Right now, shareholders are playing a big role in financing this company. It can't stand alone.
If this thing goes close to .20 again, it will be next year or the year after. The major spike has come and gone when it hit .18. We won't see that again until we see profits.
JMHO.
I've been good. I'm biding my time over here in Korea until I get back to Italy in 2007.
I really am so upset at Frankie for his lies that I can't even begin to tell you. This stock was the most I ever invested...$8K. I thought I was doing the right thing based on the PR's. It's too bad that there was no public SEC filing at the time for us to really know the truth.
I even got some of my friends in on this stock which I feel bad about.
You know, the funny thing is that although I am not homophobic, I am definately against the gay lifestyle. However, I am a realist and I understand that they will not just disappear off the face of the earth. I really thought that this company was going to do well based on the nature of the way the world is going. I should have used my better judgment and stuck to my morals.
I don't know if it's bad management or just a terrible company in general, but this thing looks like it's done. If there is a slight ray of hope, I will sell at the first sign of break even.
I never even had a chance to flip this stock because it just kept going down over the 2 years I've been in it. There was not one day that I was up in 2 years. That is very sad.
If this R/S goes through, I'm not going to sell one share. I will hold until break even or bust.
If by some miracle, this debocle does succeed, I will get out and put that money towards my house. If there is a 10,000:1 split, the stock will have to hit $5 for me to break even.
Stranger things have happened...
Hey Mr G
I keep hearing about this R/S but I don't see any news release on the website. Do you think that it's credible?
Personally, I don't think he really cares about shareholders. If he did, he would be more transparent. He hangs up on Penny, gives King George only 20 minutes and never tells anything at SHM or PR's.
He likes the fact that we buy shares, but doesn't reciprocate.
He uses everyone that he can benefit from.
IMO.
That's funny. LOL!!!!!
I don't understand what that Christian dialogue was supposed to mean nor do I understand what it has to do with this.
Thanks for the DD King.
Well, if he watches these boards, he knows who you are now if you gave him your name.
At the very least he will recognize your voice. Not that there's anything wrong with him knowing who you are. I don't think you are ever disrespectful to him, even on these boards.
I just wish he would let us know what the heck is going on. I don't understand all the secrecy. His reasons for not revealing things are not believable.
A CEO would want the public to know a company's strengths, if there were any. To keep them secret doesn't help him at all.
BP,
I don't think that's the only reason. This guy has been secretive forever and won't release any information. He always seems to refer people to JS who will always answer that he can't release any information that hasn't been made public (which is nothing) or he doesn't know.
Now, the guy has went from saying he's the IR guy to "I'm just a stockholder who helps FH out".
I want JS's job because I can do that from here. I'll take $1000 a month for that.
Watch...copy, paste...
I don't know.
$1,000 please.
Thanks Bugs,
Don't forget to make the left turn at Alberkerque.
