I'm guessing the consensus in America is trump loves Putie only because he wants to build a golf course in Moscow...
Not really. It's known he'd like to build a big Trump hotel in Moscow, but that isn't the main attraction. He sucks up to Putin because he loves autocrats. He wants to be one. He admires Pooty's success at that, and probably also envies him because he's so much richer than Trump has ever been.
We all saw how he went on rapturously about Viktor Orhan during the debate, and he's a minor player compared to Putin.
You mean FITX. Total scam from the getgo.
C'mon. You KNOW he can be that stupid. Now somebody needs to charge him for doing that.
HEY!!! Welcome back!! Where've you been?
This is rather surprising:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLISSIMO!!
He is a genuine dimwit.
Well... General Counsel isn't chopped liver, as titles go. But if Shaw saw to it she got a big bump in pay, then that's a reason to fire them both.
I understand that some companies require executives who're romantically involved to disclose that to the board. After all, people spend eight hours a day and often more at work. They form attachments.
I do believe that if you take care of your Le Creuset Dutch oven, it'll last you a long time. Mine are 20 years old, though I don't use them every day, of course, so I'm not much of a test subject. I think, though, that with really heavy use the enamel interiors might degrade and become less slick. I read somewhere that you can have them reenameled. Which is probably expensive.
But like you, I prefer a light interior to a black one. Gray would be okay, but I think black would take some getting used to.
However, I HATE glass lids. They're way too heavy, and of course they may break.
Unfortunately, the accompanying video seems to have disappeared, but...

See the long one I just posted, too.
Here's a rather long analysis of the debate by Rick Wilson. It's right on target. And as a bonus, in it he explains what he means when he refers to Trump's "duck face".

This is good:
How odd.
Yes. Loomer is utterly revolting. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Loomer used to be besties, but now even MTG is speaking out against her. Of course that has something to do with the fact that Trumpty's now favoring Loomer, not MTG.
That's gotta hurt. But interestingly, today MSNBC has chosen to make a huge deal of Loomer's new influence on Trump. Let's hope more Republicans feel they need to stop it.
You also posted about how "badly" you thought Trump treated Melania. I commented on that.
The stupidity that exists in America is just maddening.
Absolutely. Did you listen to any of those undecided voters in focus groups explain their continued indecision? I mean this in the nicest possible way, but did the people running these groups go out looking for MORONS?
And do those morons think--even less than two months from Election Day--that they should just bitch and moan till somebody presents them with what they think is a perfect candidate?
A mildly interesting administrative proceeding against FirstEnergy Corp., in connection with an Ohio political corruption scam from several years ago. I'd missed that at the time. This was it; Larry Householder, the politician who solicited hefty bribes, is now in federal prison:
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2020/07/21/ohio-bribery-case-state-official-charged-federal-prosecutors/5477862002/
This is the administrative proceeding:
https://www.sec.gov/files/litigation/admin/2024/33-11302.pdf
These proceedings arise out of FirstEnergy’s participation in a multi-year political corruption scheme. Between 2017 and 2020, FirstEnergy and FirstEnergy Solutions (“FES”), through FirstEnergy Service Company, made payments totaling approximately $60 million to Generation Now (“GenNow”) in exchange for specific official action for the benefit of FirstEnergy and FES. GenNow, an Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(4) entity, was controlled by Larry Householder (“Householder”), a member of the Ohio House of Representatives who was elected as its speaker in January 2019. FirstEnergy made payments to a 501(c)(4) entity to help conceal the source of the payments.
Chances are both women are unhappy with him right now.
But while the affair had the potential to be messy, I don't see it as a big deal. However, it was a violation of the company's ethics policy, so the company was entitled to fire them, though--if they'd been doing good work--it seems rather extreme.
Unless there's more to it.
there are many enameled cast iron pieces that will perform admirably and consistently, for many years of frequent use, priced less than a hundred bucks (check Amazon).
There are certainly many that are priced under $100 at Amazon. But are they as good? There are certainly many that are NOT as good. Ones that'll chip badly, and heat unevenly, and all that. But there ARE sales for Le Creuset and Staub, and it pays to keep an eye out.
After all, most people don't need more than two Dutch ovens...
So what is it they're not telling us about Shaw and Nag? How did their affair affect their work for the company?
When Trump is sworn in on Jan 20 will he remove all the OTC regulations? Let’s hope so!
He won't know the OTC even exists until DJT is dumped to it. And by the time that happens, he'll have long since dumped.
You need to remember: He only cares about rich people.
Trump lost the debate. ABC News lost the debate (no fact checking at all on Kamala's lies).
That's because Kamala didn't tell any lies. She lacked context on a few things, and the Washington Post picked that up in its own very thorough fact check, which Borealis kindly posted here:

That was very good summary blackhawks, did you write any of that yourself?
WTF are you blathering about? I read the whole editorial, which was excellent. All you have to do is hit "sign in" and then "sign in with Google", assuming you have a Google account.
I fail to see why you so often feel the need to be unpleasant to everyone but the obnoxious Roosty.
Just about everything Trumpty does is inappropriate. But these days he's just behaving like a child. Which makes sense, really.
Thanks. That's very interesting.
He really is amazingly unaware, isn't he?
So who's gonna tell Trumpty? He seems to think he did a wonderful job.
Or is he just pretending?
And... Piers Morgan Uncensored?? Who'd censor Piers? He's just smarmy and unmemorable...

Look at the afterhours selloff...
Perfect!!
Money was what Melania signed up for. As she frequently says, "I knew the man I married".
I did not find it a good time. I like democracy. I do not like the autocrats Trump sucks up to.
He was--by miles--the worst president of my lifetime, which began when Harry Truman was in the Oval Office. Even worse than Nixon. At least Nixon wasn't a traitor.
Then you have no candidate to vote for.
But to me she did not give any real direction on where she would go with making the economy better besides more Free handouts that you and I will be paying for.
And what do we prefer? "Free handouts" to small business owners and young families, or "free handouts" to large corporations and their management, in the form of yet more tax cuts?
Oh yes. Bribes are expected in many parts of the world.

Does anyone want to tell him the reason for being "debunked" so many times?
Does anyone want to tell him what "debunked" means? He didn't say they "tried" to debunk what he'd said. He said they'd succeeded.
I wonder what that woman used for the Trump hairstyle on her cat.
