Excellent observation, LeGoose. It would not be atypical to see a strong move on momentum and 'breakout' volume, in such an event. The likelihood? That would depend on liquidity in the market, imho.
Absolutely.
Absolutely just_an_ant, just_my_two_cents.
You are welcome Tiburon99.

CBAI: Technical Analysis Video [01.08.10]
Shares of Cord Blood America, Inc. declined in a modest fashion after an overextended market prevailed. To-date retracements in the market have played a very natural role, only to be succeeded by further rallies in price. Friday’s trading session was an ideal example of the importance of technical analysis, and it’s application to CBAI’s market. Analysis, in video format, follows.

About Immunomedics
Immunomedics is a New Jersey-based biopharmaceutical company primarily focused on the development of monoclonal, antibody-based products for the targeted treatment of cancer, autoimmune and other serious diseases. We have developed a number of advanced proprietary technologies that allow us to create humanized antibodies that can be used either alone in unlabeled or "naked" form, or conjugated with radioactive isotopes, chemotherapeutics or toxins, in each case to create highly targeted agents. Using these technologies, we have built a pipeline of therapeutic product candidates that utilize several different mechanisms of action. We also have a majority ownership in IBC Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which is developing a novel Dock-and-Lock (DNL) methodology with us for making fusion proteins and multifunctional antibodies, and a new method of delivering imaging and therapeutic agents selectively to disease, especially different solid cancers (colorectal, lung, pancreas, etc.), by proprietary, antibody-based, pretargeting methods. We believe that our portfolio of intellectual property, which includes approximately 141 patents issued in the United States and more than 300 other patents issued worldwide, protects our product candidates and technologies. For additional information on us, please visit our website at www.immunomedics.com. The information on our website does not, however, form a part of this press release.

The price and volume relationship is favoring Washington Mutual longs. Periods of retracement and price consolidation have confirmed that last Thursday’s price breakout was not a “head fake” as the market continues to deal in an uptrend. Analysis, in video format, follows.

I would expect a gap-up on "emotion". What I'd like to see afterwards is the price supported by increasing volume. Otherwise, any significant price action early on in the session could be the sign of a premature breakout if the price falters towards the latter half, most importantly the close on the trading session.
Great work here fellas with keeping the forum updated, and posts organized in threads. Thanks for the time you put into this.
Excessive salaries at the management level is an excellent, debatable, and relevant topic that you’ve brought up. Unfortunately it stretches beyond the aforementioned security and frequents markets universally. There are countless works dedicated to this subject…
Please explain your course of action and purpose in your messages, if that is the case. There is absolutely no reason to be "fanning" your frustration on a thread that Simmonds does not frequent. Perhaps you should engage in a proactive email to the CEO.
Thanks for the warm wishes dragon52. It has been a pleasure reading the materials you've shared on this thread.
You've successfully posted the same spiel over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Instead of pin-pointing what has already been discussed, chewed-up and spit out, why don't you suggest a logical course of action?
That one was a quite a mover on Thusday's trading session. Quite liquid as well.

Great close here fellas. Market continues on by responding with strength.
It may be the sudden transition that ZVTK has made...my level two (L2) isn't displaying any time & sales data on ZVTK this morning either.
ZVTK: Zevotek Announces OTCBB Listing for Its Common Stock.
NEW YORK, Jan 7, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Zevotek, Inc., (Pink Sheets:ZVTK) (OTCBB:ZVTK) (Frankfurt:T5V1), a worldwide direct marketer and distributor of innovative personal and home care items, today announced that the U.S. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has cleared a request to trade Zevotek's common stock on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) effective immediately. The Company's common stock was previously traded on the Pink Sheets.
Commenting on the announcement, Zevotek's CEO, Adam Engel, said, "I am pleased to announce to investors that we successfully completed efforts to list the Company's stock on the OTCBB. I am excited to see our stock begin trading on the Bulletin Board today."
CBAI: excellent price movement early on in the session.
Frank, thank you & good luck to you sir.
I'm not sure what to make of our present circumstances. I was under the impression that WLSA had made a considerable deposit for the land (if I remember my conversation with Simmonds back in August correctly, in the amount of $100,000). Nonetheless, I had expected more. Shareholders can ridicule the CEO as they please, but little will that get them. I think it is in due order than instead of cursing Simmonds on a "forum", shareholders should "fan" their frustration through email directly to John. Maybe that will accomplish something...
Excellent price movement early on this trading session.
Right you are sir.
Just to clarify, blue skies means resistance is set as new high(s) on a given session are made, ie. intraday high on that given session would pose resistance.
Thank you all for the kind replies. In the event that you haven't seen my breakdown of the CBAI chart, it is available for review, in video format, here: http://timelesswealth.net/ta/cbai2.html

Shares of Cord Blood America, Inc. rose nearly 11% coming off of Wednesday’s trading session. Since the ‘technical breakout’ occurred, the price per share has not seen any bearish activity as the bulls continue to overwhelm the market. To introduce several key elements to keep in mind going forward, I offer analysis, in video format.

antchaos, I was very brief in my address. Last evening, however, I went into greater detail with RHI Entertainment, Inc. My newsletters are always archived on my site, beginning with the day after they are sent to subscribers: http://timelesswealth.net/alerts/RHIE_01052010.html
Compounding your gains at this rate can lead to the accrual of significant capital, imho.
Indeed so, foe.
RHIE: RHI Entertainment appears attractive at these levels. Definitely among the "beaten down but bound to recover" list. As of the 10:30 mark (EST), approx. 1.7M shares have already traded through the market as compared to the 10 day average of 1.8M.

“Unmistakable bullish activity” – perhaps the best way to describe Monday’s trading session. Shares of Washington Mutual Inc. rallied more than 21%, on breakout volume to open trading in 2010. A little on what is to be expected heading into the next trading session and beyond…analysis, in video format, follows.

The one thing that i noticed is that some of the run ups are from companies that arent being promod at least not through newsletters.
It's difficult to put a number on the investment newsletters or "mailers" circulating the web. Chances are you only follow a select few - and track the "popular" ones. That's a pretty small sample of a pretty large market. "Spam" is involved at times as well. And groups tend to play a significant role. Whereas before these groups were purely organized teams isolated from the investing community, now you have hybrid teams equipped with their own market maker correspondent with L3, message board team, chat room team, etc.
Good question.
