What gets me, (Citron): Disclosure: None
Does this mean they've covered all their short positions b4 posting article a few hours ago?
Thanks, Scruff
P.S. This time is different. Well, let's hope so.
Citron: INO = Theranos; Mngmt = "Charlatans"
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/inovio-pharmaceuticals-covid-19-theranos-174821170.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theranos
Inovio's management team as "a group of charlatans."
Inovio Pharmaceuticals is COVID-19’s Theranos: Citron
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/inovio-pharmaceuticals-covid-19-theranos-174821170.html
Very well written. Finally, an EXTREMELY WORTHY post.
Thank you. I believe I'm going to like you.
Well, those are some of the reasons I'm in it.
But one must admit, it's time for Dr. Kim "TO PRODUCE" (Something... Anything).
In one respect, since INO:
• Was "A PENNY" stock for decades (Under $5)
• Has amassed an accumulated deficit of ~$740M (as of 12/31/19)
• Had a 1:4 reverse split in 06/14
• Has never completed a trial, study or vaccine in 20 (or 40) years
• Has little to no (long-term) credibility among Wall Street
• Is regarded as a pumper during virus flare-ups
• Has only ~40% institutional ownership (as of lately)
The stock could be bought for under $4.
So I am very grateful for that and see the potential.
INO & Dr. Kim need to earn the respect of Wall Street back and that's by producing.
It's time for him to put up or shut up.
Market caps:
MRNA ~$15B+
INO ~$2B+
With INO's partnerships, if respected and credible reputation, II ownership would be > 80% and a MC of at least $5B.
And if they had completed a trial, they'd be that much further along and know if technology platform is working.
They've got a hell of a pipeline.
Also, mRNA has never worked, where DNA vaccines seem to be more promising.
Either way, both technologies are "The future".
Thank you again, Scruffer
P.S. I was in Moderna as well but have since sold (most). INO is my main vaccine horse now (better value and ROR).
So is a Bell Curve.
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bell-curve.asp
Chart all you want.
This stock is NOT trading on TA, even though gay trader posts about it.
It's all about their vaccines.
It just amazes me they never took one trial or vaccine to completion.
Great pipeline and if works, unbelievably fantastic.
Enormous ROR.
But Dr. Kim needs to prove himself, STFU, deliver and be more focused on his stockholders.
TY, but how many times does this have_2_post.
Also, $5M is nothing from Gates Foundation.
$25-$50 million would mean something.
https://www.gatesfoundation.org/How-We-Work/Quick-Links/Grants-Database#q/sort=amount
Dr. Kim must deliver or he's done. Kaput. Game over for him.
INO needs an activist investor to align this ship and bring credibility.
My issue is Institutional Ownership should B > 80%.
I'm LONG, but Wall Street is NOT sold (yet). Hopefully will buy-in.
Dr. Kim and INO have much to prove.
If Wall Street believed in, their market cap should be in excess of $5B.
gÖÖd 1. And CURRENT! So tired of rehashed posts.
Anyone else's SHOWN Bid/Ask spread on StreetSmart Edge enormous?
12.70 & 13.69 are the 2nd in line.
Thank you, Scruffer
Maybe Dr. Kim is tired of being a loser.
Yes, I've gone back and forth on this company b/c never completed anything.
Maybe, just maybe, "This time is different".
BWWWWWwwwwwAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaaaaa.
And above all, I'm LONG. Yes, LONG.
Hopefully, he's like the addict that has finally hit rock bottom.
Time to shut-up and put-up.
If he doesn't deliver, he's done.
They need an activist investor ("Carl Icahn" type) to buy his way on the board and right this ship.
But, you never know, their technology platform may actually work.
It appears to be promising so far, but still hasn't gotten the "Full" acceptance of Wall Street.
He must earn it.
But if works, his failed history is out the window and INO will be a premium takeover target.
Scruff
P.S. Only 250M left. 150M diluted.
P.S2. Don't think will dilute until after conference call. He needs to be grilled, that is, peppered with questions about his history.
TY 4 the DD. Gotta subscribe 4 coins.
It's no biggy.

I'll play. $110K Aug 30 Call Bought.
Inovio Option Trader Bets $110K That Coronavirus Vaccine Stock Will Double Again By August.
Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: INO ) shares traded lower by 4.1% on Tuesday but remain up 451.5% over the past six months on hopes the company will ultimately be first to market with the COVID-19 vaccine the world desperately needs. On Monday, one large option trader made a huge Inovio option trade, seemingly betting that the company will jump out in front in the race for a coronavirus vaccine. The Inovio Trades On Monday afternoon, Benzinga Pro subscribers received an alert related to an unusually large Inovio option trade: At 2:55 p.m. on Monday, a trader bought 500 Inovio call options with a $30 strike price expiring on Aug. 21 at the ask price of $2.201. The trade represented a $110,000 bullish bet. Why It's Important Even traders who stick exclusively to stocks often monitor option market activity closely for unusually large trades. Given the relative complexity of the options market, large options traders are typically considered to be more sophisticated than the average stock trader.
How The Big Players Manipulate The Stock Market
He (Cramer) described how he could push stocks higher or lower with as little as $5 million in capital when he was running his hedge fund. Cramer said, "A lot of times when I was short at my hedge fund...When I was positioned short-meaning I needed it down-I would create a level of activity beforehand that could drive the futures." He also encouraged hedge funds to engage in this type of activity because it is "a very quick way to make money"."

Past performance IS NOT INDICATIVE of future results
And as every experienced trader knows, pre-market activity is used to try to send "A false perception".
We'll see at opening bell.
LT: Magnus stickied your post, #79055

Can't_imply. Judge must approve BK. Didn't notice. Thx.
Past performance is no guarantee of future results
LT: I'm not a mod, but gave coins.
In "PlusOneCoin Top Posts" (above, the 2nd one).
The coins will eventually expire so need a mod to "Sticky" or add to "Intro".
Very detailed and thorough post. Lots and lots and lots of great info.
Thanks, Scruffer
Traders gone 4 day. Pre-Mkt even higher.
And then come the Institutional Investors at opening bell.
Tomorrow may be the best yet.
Plus, during extended trading hours, the stock is manipulated.
Great one. Made me laugh aloud.
DNA approach appears 2 B working. NEW_HIGHS_COMING!.
Vaccine recipients demonstrated strong antibody and T cell immune responses after 2 or 3 doses with 0.6 mg of INO-4700, a DNA vaccine that targets the MERS-CoV Spike (S) glycoprotein, delivered with intradermal CELLECTRA® device. The vaccination regimen was well-tolerated with no vaccine-associated severe adverse events (SAEs).
New high coming and this time should hold.
That is... We shouldn't see much of a retracement.
WÖÖHÖÖ,
Scruff
That's the brilliance of it all.
Suing the cable companies, the direct infringers.
Who cares if COMM goes BK.
Cable companies aren't going anywhere except to "Their (INVESTMENT) BANK" to make a withdrawal or arrange alternative financing options.
We're playing long ball. Can DCA in cheaper.
Most of us are in it b/c undervalued, great opportunity & whatever your reason.
Look at it this way, can "Dollar Cost Average" cheaper with next pay period (if so desire).
Great quote to remember:
It always reminds me of the story about the woman who approached Picasso in a restaurant, asked him to scribble something on a napkin, and said she would be happy to pay whatever he felt it was worth. Picasso complied and then said, “That will be $10,000.”
“But you did that in thirty seconds,” the astonished woman replied.
“No,” Picasso said. “It has taken me forty years to do that.”

So don't worry or fret over the short-term price movement.

**There R lots of cable modem manufacturers.
We've mainly only focused on Arris and Cisco.
Arris
Asus
Casa Systems** In court documents.
Cisco

The most widely used format by cable internet providers remains DOCSIS 3.0. smile Most ISPs support DOCSIS 3.1, although many neighborhoods may have to wait years before DOCSIS 3.1 capability reaches them.
The main difference between DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 is the capable speeds. Comcast states that a DOCSIS 3.0 32×8 channel modem will reach actual speeds of about 650 to 700 Mbps on their network. While a DOCSIS 3.1 32×8 channel modem will achieve a speed of 1000 Mbps or 1 Gbps. You will see at least a 30% speed boost over the older technology, if the ISP offers gigabit internet.

Sure. Casa is tiny. Mkt cap of 420M.

But since in court docs, good to add (so remember).
Good call, Scruff
The GR8 news is... Institutional Investors R BUYERS!
With ~100M± shares traded the last 3 days, no doubt about it, IIs are accumulating.
They're finally coming around to seeing this opportunity.
BUY, HOLD, ACCUMULATE, DOLLAR-COST-AVERAGE in.
If INO's vaccine(s) works, $100+ per share.
Plus, have the funding now to further their pipeline development and trials.
Odds are... If 1 works, the others should yield similar results.
Moreover, the short volume had to increase today to drive the price down (semi-temporarily).
If another 100M+ share volume tomorrow, a possible super squeeze coming.
LONG & STRONG $INO$, Scruffer
Institutional Investors to the rescue. $25 soon.

This should be "Stickied" or put in "Intro".
Must continually add to coins or will drop out of "PlusOneCoin Top Posts".
Also, I think, only moderators can do this.
Yes, they are. Excellent example.
Built-in WI-FI. Those requiring no routers.
It's (kinda) standard now (if want), but my understanding is "Those don't infringe", according to Dr. Teece and the info provided by our "Field reporting team".
Yes, I thought, "Shut the front door"--That's a huge drop in infringing modems.
But after research, it was NOT common.
Modems only modulated and demodulated the digital signal for decades.
Even today, most routers handle the WI-FI.
I think Xfinity (Comcast) was one of the first to combine (a bundled combo pack) with WI-FI included (if wanted--But they make less money).
Surprisingly, I think most people still separate both modem & router.
That's one of the reasons so curious about what the total infringing units are.
You did such an outstanding job compiling sn's posts, another quarantined research project to do.
In ZW, LT and Magnus posts and notes after last hearing.
Okay, I'm out. Goodnight team, Scruff
LONG & STRONG QUARANTINED TEAM $UOIP$.
Big difference b/t urban & rural areas.
My conclusion is...
(Used to travel for business).
There is a huge difference between densely populated cities and rural areas (or smaller cities).
I've never understood it either.
Likewise for bridal gown sales, Black Friday lines (not so much anymore because keep opening earlier & internet shopping), opening of first "Donut store" or "Hamburger joint" in an area, movie premieres and other big sales/openings.
And they pitch tents and drive-up in RVs.
Bottom line, "People are people".
Music_2_my_ears. This is 1 of the big unknowns.
Lots of people, "Yes", but there are many people to a household or business.
89% of United States has access to Cable: ~194M Americans.
https://broadbandnow.com/Cable
But, do we have any idea of the total number of:
• All DOCSIS 3.0 non WI-FI modems in-service or deployed at one time (in the past)?
As we know, these are the modems that infringed.
That is the question?
And then, of course, what's in Billy's mind.
You're (too) smart and sophisticated.
Well read, smokes cigars and drinks wine.
Upgrade to scotch and then you're there (in stereotype).
And now back to one of my favorites.
It's just Eugene.
Once U figure it out. please let me know.
I'll give you some TP. A case even.

A codicil is a testamentary document similar but not necessarily identical to a will. In some jurisdictions, it may serve to amend, rather than replace, a previously executed will. In others, it may serve as an alternative to a will. In still others, there is no recognized distinction between a codicil and a will.
