How can news be baked in? We are awaiting efficacy results. Will the study show 30%, 50%, 70% effective rate? I want to read the results before I form an opinion. That the results will be positive is probably mostly baked in, but there are too many unknowns IMHO.
This is not one of those meeting where Canopy tells you their latest acreage and yield. When OWCP recently got 2 chucks of $300K, they put it to work immediately. Last 8-K shows they raised $1.6M. They may very well have an update about where that money has been put to work.
And as I've said about the funds I've worked with, they like to send their analysts to do face-to-face. Getting your answers in an email is one thing, seeing how the CEO and CSO respond to your question face-to-face is very different.
Did you notice that OWCP has made themselves available for private meetings at this event? Funds will want a PRIVATE meeting. They don't want to ask questions in public that will tip off other funds.
On Ihub we all gladly share our DD. That's not how these funds operate at all.
Use the search function, at the top left of the page. Search for "MMJ ETF" and you will see a lot of good DD IMHO.
Is the throttling over? Only 75K Buys and it's trending up. The other day we have 4M Buys and it was sideways.
Fatigue. Lots of long term holders elsewhere. Several of us on ihub are new to the stock and think .10-.11 is a great price. Once PMCB files the IND things will get interesting.
For me it's easy to be excited since I've been holding for about a month. I would imagine holding since 2015 would be trying. Just my 2 cents.
Viking Therapeutics to Present at Upcoming Investor Conferences
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/viking-therapeutics-present-upcoming-investor-123000590.html
I have OWCP in 3 accounts, the one I sold some from is an IRA so I avoided all capital gains! Boom!
The bulk of my stock is in my trading account however, so I'd much prefer to not sell anything until 2018 as for "tax efficiency". : )
Sold some OWCP today.
Very mixed emotions about the trades. My broker is first in, first out. So today I sold the first 10,000 I ever bought at .26 and part of the next block I bought at .30. I sold 20,000 in total for an average price of $2.75.
I know I left money on the table. Likely a lot. Efficacy test results are due any day now. The stock is going to pop, unless the efficacy results have already been baked into share price. I think with 90% certainty the stock will be higher than $3 in a few months.
On the plus side, however, is my stress level has dropped away. I wasn't even really aware of my level of stress until it was gone. Not sure if stress is the right word though. I'm more relaxed (or maybe confident) about the balance of my shares because they are, essentially, completely free. Swing up and down wildly, I don't care lol.
That's a pretty rare position to be in and I have to say I like it!
So I'm going to be buying my wife a new car with the profits and she is going to be soooooo happy. That is worth so much to me.
Never hurts to take a profit, but I know myself and I will likely beat myself up about this later (could've gotten her a BMX 9 Series instead of an X5 if I had just waited...)
But there are no guarantees in the stock market. All in all, I'm going to have to say this is one of the most interesting and memorable trades I've ever made.
yeah the OW*P rumor was in a Jewish gossip magazine a few years ago. Neither company would confirm or deny. Anyway, NMUS has got to be the most undervalued MMJ play in the OTCQB.
Funny, because from a legal perspective they have absolutely the very strongest position IF the Feds don't remove cannabis from schedule 1.
I still have a lot of shares : )
I took some profits today. In all honesty, it has dropped my stress level. I sold 20,000 shares today and the profit completely covers my entire original investment and then some.
Didn't want to do it. But I'm going to buy my wife a new car I know she really wants. Thinking about getting custom plates that read "OWCP".
It was painful. So painful. But my stress went down and I'm going to have a very, very happy wife. I know in my gut I left a lot of money on the table, but for me it was a good trade and I'm very happy with it.
Everyone should have a trading plan and should stick to it. GLTA!!!
Sorry, I have multiple tabs open I think I responded to the wrong thread! My bad. Yes, I know you and Cherry are going and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Very sorry again!
Hey now, I was just having fun.
Of course everyone is and should be concerned about P&D and D&P in OTC stocks, even OTC QBs. But coming on the board accusing people of "trying to make money" is just silly. Of course everyone wants to make money!
You have to take EVERYTHING in LIFE with a GRAIN of SALT. On FB, twitter, here, every where.
The difference here, I think, is that many people want others to make money. Me, I'm here because NOONE in my RL investment circle will touch MJ or MMJ stocks. I do DD and I share it, just like I have always done in RL.
I'm happy for the flippers, shorters, day traders, momentum traders, the Truly Longs, even the MMs.
Everyone is making money on this stock.
Take profits. Trade smart. Remember everyone has an agenda.
There was a report out today about huge variance in cannabinoids in edibles. Labels were wildly inaccurate. It's literally a few guys and gals in a kitchen banging this stuff out. No science whatsoever.
I'd imagine it's the same situation for oils and creams. From what I understand, even different batches of bud have different potencies. Just look at all the MJ "Yelp" sites. On top of that, throw in concerns about pesticides making into the end products.
Yeah, I think OWCP will be in great shape. The IRB Safety/Efficacy Approved seal will make the choice between OWCP's cream and a hand-labeled CBD balm a no brainer in Green Stores.
On my 3 trading accounts there is a surcharge for Pink sheets, not for OTCQB. Sometimes there are surcharges for over 10,000 shares.
You should be able to see ALL costs in your trade preview screen before you pull the trigger. Also, it never hurts to call your broker to see if they are running any special promotions.
BREAKING NEWS: NEW STUDY SHOWS PEOPLE BUY AND SELL STOCKS TO MAKE MONEY!!! WHO KNEW?!?
Guess you haven't bothered to look at all the companies sponsoring:
Great post! I also think $OWCP is a special company in the right place and at the right time, and the prohibition analogy probably goes over a lot of young people's heads but it very accurate.
Have your first members mark on me!
As much as the FDA is the gold standard in clinical trials and research, it's just too damn expensive to do 3 rounds of trials in the US.
The more I do DD on biotech companies the more I see clinical studies OUTSIDE of the US. I see medicines available to people in Europe, Asia and South America but not in the US.
IMHO $OWCP has done the right thing with the psoriasis cream. IRB Helsinki protocol safety studies are a very reputable standard and will allow the cream to be sold in many countries outside of the US. Yes, the US market is very affluent, but disorders like psoriasis are more common in colder climates like Canada and Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
GREEN UNICORN!!!
BOOM!!! See, information like this and the fact that OWCP's twitter feed has multiple psoriasis support groups with thousands of followers is GOLD. We know the cream works well from the 8-K, but 78% efficacy is just fantastic. So happy for all the people who will be able to dump their current prescribed meds with all those serious and horrible side effects.
I was just reading a thread on people looking for plays in the Defense industry. So much happier to be focused on biotech stocks, where investors and patients BOTH benefit.
Barchart agrees with you:
$RVV rating is a 88% Buy with a Average short term outlook on maintaining the current direction.
Longer term, the trend strength is Maximum. Long term indicators fully support a continuation of the trend.

Seems to me $NMUS would be an ideal candidate for acquisition IF cannabis is ever removed from DEA Schedule 1. Does anyone know if the research agreements with University of Mississippi would be transferable if NMUS was acquired? From what I've already read all existing IP is jointly owned, just wondering about the studies in progress.
Thoughts on why it's trading a bit lower in after market?
Presentation Deck from Kind Financial and Microsoft about MMJ. Article is called "How Microsoft Will Help To Track Legalised Cannabis Sales". Interesting article in itself, but notice in the copy of the deck there is a slide title "Medical Benefits" the very first indication listed is "Treats Migraines":
http://israel-cannabis.stfi.re/2017/02/26/how-microsoft-will-help-to-track-legalised-cannabis-sales/?sf=jeyelny&utm_content=buffer9a263&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer#ab
Cannabis helps Migraines? Cool! I wonder if anyone has a patent pending on a cannabinoid sublingual tablet to treat Migraines... Oh, yeah, $OWCP Does!
https://register.epo.org/application?number=EP15868133
Thank you Microsoft and Kind Financial for the accidental attention to OWCP's pipeline.
Traders News Issues Comprehensive Report on OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/traders-news-issues-comprehensive-report-132000558.html
-On mobile sry if this is repost :(
Studies have proven the cannabis exposure before the age of 16 permanently changes the brain. On mobile. Can't link studies sry.
Umm, anyone know where I can sign up for this clinical trial? You know, umm, for science?
Are you talking about Gw*ph, Zy*e, Ca*a, or $OWCP?
I hold all. The Z and C CEO's both pay themselves $500K+ a year, while OWCP's CEO is taking $1,000.00 a month. So who's burning through money faster while still in clinical trials?!?
Spike in Buy volume or large Buy blocks after the conference will be a great sign, so watch the tape on Thurs and Friday.
I used to go to conferences sort of like this one so this is my take:
Traders and analysts who go to these things will have very specific questions for management. Getting a response to an email is one thing, but seeing how the CEO responds to your question is entirely another thing.
MassRoots is also a sponsor, so there will be some MJ people there who may be new to OWCP and MMJ. But like I said, professionals who take a trading day off to attend a conference are not going to be wasting time, they will have done plenty of DD on the sponsoring companies already.
My earlier post about the other conference sponsors:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=128712805
I don't know. I was ecstatic for MMJ and $OWCP when I learned about the Cannabis Caucus being bipartisan and having 14 cosponsors (https://blumenauer.house.gov/cannabis-caucus) BUT I was in horror the very next day when the Oregon Congressman was calling Trump mentally "unstable". Ugh! Earl, keep it down until AFTER your HB is approved and signed into law!!!
Great post! This goes right to the heart of how it is truly impossible it is for anyone but a professional analysts (with access to accurate market data of all current psoriasis drugs and OTC treatments) to make an accurate estimation of the EPS for $OWCP in Q3 and Q4.
We still don't know how much is coming in from the 3 consulting contracts. We don't know if they will be selling generic OTC creams for things like acne. Really looking forward to clarification in future 8-Ks.
Yes, holding free shares is a great way to have low stress on an investment like $OWCP. Have a trading plan, and stick with it. GLTA!
True story: saw the Dr Gupta videos on my FB feed, Googled Dr. Alan Shackelford and found this article:
https://www.greenprophet.com/2015/01/dr-cannabis-alan-shackelford-puts-medicine-into-cannabis-in-israel/
learned about Dr. Baruch and OWCP. Profited immensely.
Dr. Gupta is working on a new video so I'm looking forward to seeing if he goes back to Israel.
I doubt it, it's pay to attend. People attending should also check to make sure there is permission to live stream.
Nice article! Thanks, and member mark for you!
Thank you!
Friendland was in NY for the Cohen and Company Cannabis Colloquium in January. Sure he's met the Tress Capital people. Several people on here text/email him, so I'm sure someone can confirm.

Hi, thank you.
I don't invest in Pink sheet stocks. My broker charges between a fee of .01 and .005 per share for Pink Sheets, which just makes it too very costly (would cost me .02 just to buy/sell) for me.
You said they have IP but I didn't see any spending on R&D in recent years. Careful this isn't a "me too" company my friend. Good Luck, and Happy Trading!
