How can news be baked in? We are awaiting efficacy results. Will the study show 30%, 50%, 70% effective rate? I want to read the results before I form an opinion. That the results will be positive is probably mostly baked in, but there are too many unknowns IMHO.

This is not one of those meeting where Canopy tells you their latest acreage and yield. When OWCP recently got 2 chucks of $300K, they put it to work immediately. Last 8-K shows they raised $1.6M. They may very well have an update about where that money has been put to work.

And as I've said about the funds I've worked with, they like to send their analysts to do face-to-face. Getting your answers in an email is one thing, seeing how the CEO and CSO respond to your question face-to-face is very different.

Did you notice that OWCP has made themselves available for private meetings at this event? Funds will want a PRIVATE meeting. They don't want to ask questions in public that will tip off other funds.

On Ihub we all gladly share our DD. That's not how these funds operate at all.

I track a LOT of pot stocks, recreational and medical. I have seen this sooooo many times. The news is baked in. As I mentioned before, if they reveal something new than maybe we get a pop. But conferences are usually not where that happens, they talk more about the science, future earnings, products, etc. They are in front of buyers sure, but do you really think that hedge funds and others have not done their homework before a presentation?? Do you really believe they will say something earth shattering that will cause them all to pull out their phones and place orders? That is not how the real world of trading works. Best of luck to you, I just see things differently based on many years of traveling these roads before, trading many of these stocks, especially in the world of Med MJ.
