As much as the FDA is the gold standard in clinical trials and research, it's just too damn expensive to do 3 rounds of trials in the US.

The more I do DD on biotech companies the more I see clinical studies OUTSIDE of the US. I see medicines available to people in Europe, Asia and South America but not in the US.

IMHO $OWCP has done the right thing with the psoriasis cream. IRB Helsinki protocol safety studies are a very reputable standard and will allow the cream to be sold in many countries outside of the US. Yes, the US market is very affluent, but disorders like psoriasis are more common in colder climates like Canada and Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
