Hey Kidd,
"Now they say it doesn't even do what they stated it can do ? "
That's what I believe, like all their other products, I don't believe the G4 will ever do what they've been advertising.
I don't think CDEx has actually stated that though.
I don't believe the G4 will ever read molar drug concentration in real time like the old Valimeds, but as far as I can find, CDEx has never explicitly claimed the G4 can do that.
Just weasel words to imply but never definitively state.
As pennstreet says, "scamster stuff".
"...Imo, I am quite sure that the Capn. is fully aware of the two different tech's, lol."
So pennstreet, now that you have confirmed that the G4 is an entirley new technology and the old study by Dr. Stevenson is obsolete...
Do you think CDEx will fund a new study for the G4 to verify its performance meets the specified pharmacy requirements?
You've got to be kidding! LOL
One employee out of 39,000 that has some critical words about the fine company? LOL!
Besides, the point was their world-class product line, not there employees.
For example, the FIRST DEFENDER is a handheld Raman Spectrometer that weights 2 lbs., contains over 20,000 signatures for chemicals a combinations of chemicals and can see through plastic, glass and other materials...
They also have one for drugs which blows the G4 OUT OF THE WATER.
And they're NOT A SCAM with "hype and bogus PR's" like CDEx.
Do your DD.
I don't think that CDEx has the money to fund an evaluation study for the new G4 technology.
Well, a new identification technology for CDEx anyway.
There excellent companies like Thermo Scientific which have handheld Raman Spectroscopy instruments that are a marvel in identifying drugs, substances and multiply everything!
Truly amazing.
CDEx is a stale fart by comparison.
Will Dr. Stevenson conduct a new study with the new G4 technology someday when they become available for testing?
Maybe sometime mid 2014?
With all of capnmike's research capability, he cannot find a single CDEx PR where they explicitly state that the G4 can measure molar drug concentrtion in real time.
A very brief third party review in the context of a much broader paper is not a PR and is not a legally binding publication from CDEx. Please!! LOL!!
That author will describe the G4 however CDEx advertises it at the tme. In the PR's from the last three ASHP coventions there is no definitive wording claiming the G4 can measure drug strength in real time. If it could, they'd clearly state it without ambiguity. Don't ya think?
Allowing the author to include that description of the G4 where CDEx has deniabilty is "scamster stuff" just like pennstreet has described CDEx in the past.
"The case was closed, and Cdex continue's to MARCH forward. A real head scratcher for some, duh, the some that have not personally seen the G4 identify medications in syringes, vials, and IV bags."
Identification of a drug is not what I've been asking. Where does it explicitly state that soley the G4 can measure drug strength in real time like the old Valimed?
"It is a crying shame that such sentence structure of the G4 capabilities go unfound, unseen, and unread by the very educated some."
The G4 PR's are ambiguous when describing what the G4 can actually do. I can't forget, as pennstreet has stated, "the hype and bogus PR's" that CDEx has published in the past.
No dancing about the G4. It be the real deal, imo."
Now that is totally out of character for you pennstreet. It's only your opinion that the G4 is the "real deal"?
If you were sure about what you're talking about it would have been "a simple fact".
Case closed.
With the history of weasel worded PR's coming out of CDEx, I noticed that everytime a PR mentions the measurement of drug concentration (or strength), it refers to the old Valimed technology with the expired patent.
Where is the G4 soley mentioned as having the capability to measure drug concentration without referencing the old Valimed technolgy?
I can't find it and that's why I was asking.
So I'll ask again, where is it stated that the G4 can measure drug concentration in real time?
You can't find it either eh?
The ValiMed G4 drug validation system helps healthcare providers ensure patient safety and control costs by reducing medication errors. The patented detection process identifies drug strengths and volume-by-weight in real-time, validating proper dose, diluents and concentration of high-risk compounded medications and treatment solutions. The G4 device will help healthcare facilities comply with Joint Commission compliance requirements and USP 797 guidelines for compounding sterile preparations (CSPs) and integrate with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms.
The G4 technology is not patented. The bold text is referring to the old, Valimed technology which was once patented- but not any more.
I believe that the "volume-by-weight" is referring to the G4.
LOL! Can the G4 measure drug cocentration in real time like the old Valimeds?
That's what I'm asking.
The rest of your silly spin is simply hilarious! LOL!
I stand corrected, that is the title of the patent pending, not the expired Valimed patent.
Still, reciting a title is a far cry from answering a simple question. LOL That tells me that you either can't answer my simple question or won't answer it.
Where does it explicitly state that the G4 measures drug concentration in real time (like the old Valimed did)?
“CHEMICAL AND MOLECULAR IDENTIFICATION AND QUANTIFICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING ENHANCED PHOTOEMISSION SPECTROSCOPY”
That means nothing pennstreet, and BTW, that is in reference to the title of the canceled patent for the old Valimed technology, not the G4.
The two doctors you keep mentioning have NOTHING to do with my simple question which a CDEx know-it-all like yourself either can't answer or knows the true answer makes the value of the G4 much less than advertised.
Where is it explicitly stated that the G4 can measure molar concentration in real time?
Pennstreet, you are not answering a simple question. You're dancing! LOL
In asking, I'm not implying in any way whatsoever, that I'm smarter or dumber than any one else.
Further, I'm not saying Dr. Stevenson isn't a great pharmacist nor Dr. Terrel a great and decorated doctor now am I?
You're just making up stuff that I never said or implied. Stop that.
Now, back to my question. Of course the G4 has something different from the old Valimeds, it uses Raman spectroscopy to identify drugs. But, that's nothing new, it's only new for CDEx. They are trying to apply an existing technology to their application and make it work as advertised.
Where is it explicitly stated that the G4 can measure drug concentration in real time without the use of a cuvette?.
Pennstreet, can anyone show me where CDEx explicitly states the G4 can measure molar drug strength in real time?
In writing, not something retractable over the phone.
Pennstreet, can anyone show me where CDEx explicitly states the G4 can measure molar drug strength in real time?
In writing, not something retractable over the phone.
Capnmike, is Dr. Stevenson going to perform another study using the new G4 technology?
Are you aware that they are two entirely different technologies eventhough they both use spectroscopy?
Ask Poteet if you're not sure.
"The patented & patent pending detection process identifies drug strengths in real-time, validating proper dose / concentration of high-risk compounded medications and treatment solutions."
Here they are talking about both the old Valimed (using patented technolog) which uses a cuvette and the new G4 (using patent pending technology) which allegedly does not use a cuvette for the measurement of drug strength in real time. They're combining the two tecnologies together which causes confusion as to what each separate technolgies can actually do.
The old Valimed measured molar drug strength in real time to an acceptable level of accuracy for drug dosage validation. I believe Dr. Stevenson reported it was within 10% accurate.
The question is can the G4 measure molar drug strength in real time without the use of a cuvette? I don't believe it can and I CERTAINLY DON'T BELIEVE it can measure multi-component drug strenghts in real time.
In the PR from the 2011 ASHP show CDEx claims,
"The ValiMed G4 drug validation system helps healthcare providers ensure patient safety and control costs by reducing medication errors. The patented detection process identifies drug strengths and volume-by-weight in real-time, validating proper dose, diluents and concentration of high-risk compounded medications and treatment solutions."
Once again, CDEx is referring to their patented tecnology, not their patent pending technology, they are to different things. Can anyone show me where CDEx explicitly states the G4 can measure molar drug strength in real time?
Pennstreet? Capnmike? Poteet?
"Well, obviously Mr. Brumfield and team missed their placement date. Hum, sometimes one just cannot predict an event and final market ready product, on a product that has never been built before."
According to court documents, CDEx has built three G4's with one delivered to a customer over a year ago. Pennstreet has claimed that that customer uses it every day (remember folks, pennstreet knows everything about CDEx).
Now pennstreet is saying that they've "never been built before". Something is just not right.
CDEx's ASHP PR's since 2010 in a nut shell:
The ASHP conference, December 6-8, 2010. CDEX Inc. announced the Company will exhibit its proprietary ValiMed G4 multi-component medication and narcotic detection system.
"The fourth generation of the ValiMed Validation System significantly raises the bar for patient medication safety and pharmaceutical drug loss prevention. The ValiMed G4 provides cutting edge features and benefits over existing systems available in the market. The G4 identifies the drug, the dose, the diluents, and is the first to feature multi-component compound detection. The G4 will have an enhanced software platform for improved accuracy and reliability, while able to perform non-invasive measures of compounds directly through IV bags, syringes and vials, offering lower risk of contamination with increased workflow"
The ASHP conference, December 4-8, 2011. The ValiMed(TM) G4 will be showcased at booth 247 at the conference.
"With the recent launch and commercial production of our ValiMed(TM) G4 system, we are excited to showcase the system at the ASHP Midyear conference, where a national and international audience of industry professionals will witness the power of our technology. We are the first to commercialize an affordable advanced measuring system, with multi-component capabilities that will enhance and improve the quality of care that pharmacies and clinical professionals provide. The conference should provide an optimum platform for our ValiMed G4 to gain market penetration and build industry buzz for our system. We expect to deliver several units over the next six months as the market interest continues to spread for the VG4, stated Jeff Brumfield, chairman and chief executive officer of CDEX.
CDEX's VG4 significantly raises the bar for patient medication safety and pharmaceutical drug loss prevention. The ValiMed G4 provides cutting edge features and benefits over existing systems available in the market. In addition to validating high-risk medications before leaving the clinical or pharmacy
environment, the ValiMed G4 will also monitor and discourage the diversion of controlled substances by validating the returned or unused narcotics from patient treatment areas or surgery suites. Other applications for the ValiMed G4 system include counterfeit medication monitoring, regulatory compliance and training of clinical and pharmacy personnel."
ASHP conference, December 2-6, 2012. The ValiMed™ G4 drug validation system will be showcased at booth 2107 at the exhibition.
"This is the second year for us to demonstrate the capabilities of the ValiMed G4 at the ASHP Midyear conference. By year's end, we expect to have placed our initial units. These placements originated from last year's event, which in-turn produced a number of contracts. We expect the event this year to be even better, with numerous private showings already scheduled," stated Jeff Brumfield, chairman and chief executive officer of CDEX.

The patented & patent pending detection process identifies drug strengths in real-time, validating proper dose / concentration of high-risk compounded medications and treatment solutions."
Capnmike, I don't believe that Dr Stevenson's 18-month study with the original Valimed applies to the G4 since the G4 is identifying drugs using an entirely different spectroscopy.
All new, more complex signatures are required. Acceptable specificity must be re-established.
Also since the drug strength measurements are to be performed without the use of a cuvette the accuracy must be verified using different types of containment, I.V. bags, vials ...etc.
The accuracy under all conditions must fall within the accepted deviation as described in the study.
Has this been done?
"The debtor believes this is proprietary information and not for public distribution due to the sensitive nature of the debtor's relationship with its clients and restrictions placed on the debtor by those clients. Debtor is currently in active negotiations with seventeen potential clients representing a possible twenty-six units with an additional eighteen hospitals considering placement"
Crow, I'm in total agreement!
Hush-hush all the hospitals say... LOL!!
This scam continues to operate exactly like it has in the past, new CEO or not.
Heck, they've probably already started crating the first G4's going out the door.
They have contracts, JB said so!!
T-minus 27 days. Exciting no?
Amanita, the show isn't quite over yet, but I'm not holding my breath for a PR.
ASHP 2013 Summer Meeting & Exhibition June 1-5
I've often wondered what the professionals at the show think about CDEx. I'll bet that they don't believe much that CDEx says anymore. Word gets around.
Why wouldn't CDEx encourage shareholders to attend and see the brand new, certified, and independently tested G4 in action?
Instead they go into stealth mode and if it wasn't for capnmike, we'd never know that they had attended.
As I said in my previous post, this isn't the first time that they've done this.
It doesn't seem like CDEx wants shareholders to pop in to the ASHP show and see the soon to be launched Valimed G4 when they don't announce that they're attending the show.
This is not the first time they've done this.
Fascinating! LOL
Hello Mrs. Pennstreet, can I just call you pennstreet II?
"Obviously, he was not allowed to do his job under the Mp and Ts hands. Nothing get accomplished on time, if ever."
I think you were looking for the word 'got', not 'get'.
There's more, but who really cares.
Kapeesh?
Exactly, someone that bought millions of shares of CDEx while knowing nothing about the Loch/CDEx scam would be much worse than dense. LOL!
So Pennstreet wants us to believe that JB is beyond dense, yet a top-notch CEO both at the same time.
Unbelievable!!!!
When one spins BS stories as much as Pennstreet, it's impossible to keep them consistent.
Pennstreet is not the only one that claims to have known JB for many years, maybe it was spgianna that introduced JB to Loch/CDEx.
"capnmike: My hopes have been renewed as well. I know JB very well for many yrs. Lets hope it all works out for all of us. I have held my shares as well & have added some over the past year."
S
I have always respected spgianna, no hyping, promoting or manipulating like Kidinsight, capnmike and a few others, just patiently waiting and hoping for the best.
So pennstreet, how did JB heard about CDEx if what you claim is true?
Never mind, I wouldn't believe a word you say.
Sure seems like someone that was hired on to service MP's best interests. It sure the heck wasn't for JB et al.
Hmmmm... ole MP still has some pull doen't he? LOL
Remember, the Myth Gun (TM- Crow) was originally advertised as a "stand-off", "point-n-shoot" marvel.
The problem that they still don't mention is that there are many false positives, the worst which renders it virtually useless except in the most arid regions is moisture.
Amanita, that sounds very, very close (if not spot on) to the truth.
Pennstreet has been proven to be quite the story fabricator over the years. He's been the CDEx spinmaster since inception.
That's just "a simple fact" and "everyone knows it to be the truth."
That's just one of the many reasons why CDEx is still clearly operating in the scam mode just like when MP was running the show and just like Loch Harris before that.
..."never before built technology" can never have a specific finish date, only approximate dates. One can guess as to the finish time for a product, but the product will only be finished, when it does exactly what it is being designed to do.
Just as with MP in the past, CDEx advertises a product they don't have and don't even know if they can make.
In pennstreet's statement he uses the phrase "designed to do". What he should have said is "what it has been advertised to do" because a design has yet to be introduced that makes the product do what they have advertised it can do.
Watch closely as all of the CDEx advertising claims (hype) slowly can modified with the claims and performance specs of the product slowly dwindling away. Compare their final product with the original claims. I can guarantee that it will be like night and day.
That is all LOCH/CDEx have ever done, from the ELF to the Meth Gun to Valimed and all the BS in between.
Why advertise something they don't have- PP sales are king. Why do they make people believe a 40+ page G4 Operators Manual has been completed years before the product has yet to be designed- PP sales are king.
Why did CEO, Blumfield, announce the product was "expected" to be "launch" almost two years ago? PP sales are king.
THIS SCAM HAS CONTINUED TO OPERATE EXACTLY AS IT HAS IN THE PAST except they've been getting their SEC filings in on time- so far.
Great job JB, Pennstreet appears to be impressed by your ability to perform a basic function of a public company.
Jeff Brumfield would not be listed in any SEC filing if he bought his shares on the open market prior to 2004. (as Kidd already informed you)
And another point, JB must really be on top on things if he bought CDEx in 2004, but never heard of Loch until 2010. What excellent DD before he bought millions of shares!
So he knew nothing about the history of the Loch/CDEx scam until he began CEO in 2010! LOL! Now that's fuuny!!
Look, I'm still laughing! LOL!!!
Hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend.
JB, you're doing a heck of a job there at CDEx, keep up the good work of filing with the SEC on time as you're suppose to.
Pennstreet speaks very highly of your ability to do that.
Thanks Kidd, I figgered JB has been around this scam a lot longer then some people want known. I remember when Kidinsight lied and told everyone that MP was just a common shareholder like everyone else, then we learned the truth. MP went way back to the Loch days.
It was all complete lies and deception. One never turns over the reins of a scam to an ordinary shareholder. Never.
JB is obviously no ordinary shareholder. Twice bankrupt, uneducated, common shareholders don't become CEO'S for a high-tech company, but I imagine they can sit in as a puppet CEO for a scam, especially if that scam is going through chapt. 11 bankruptcy.
No wonder pennstreet spents so much of his time with the difficult task of trying to build him up.
It gets pretty silly though when one has nothing to work with.
Was JB involved with or invested in the Avid (sp?) scam?
Yep, the BK is exactly what they all wanted, just look at who it benefited.
And the de facto CDEx mouthpiece claims it was the fault of "MP and his buddies".
They eliminated their debt, got rid of shareholders, and pocketed a sheet load of new treasury shares.
All planned out well in advance of when MP allegedly forced
the BK.
