Doc, I agree with your "almost 100% derisked" factor with NWBO. I too have been investing in biotechs for years. In fact, the first bio I bought was in 1987 and ironically it was CVM which we see mentioned in parallel with NWBO on several boards.
I retired from the pharmaceutical/diagnostics industry a few years back and only play with biotechs with funds that others use in 'Vegas' situations and to hopefully keep my brain functioning a few more years and perhaps discovering a drug that perhaps could save or prolong my life someday.
It's also ironic that my retired personal IM physician is fighting for his life with GBM at this very moment. Isn't it also ironic that one of my best personal friends died of squamous cell H&N CA which hopefully CVM will cure?

CVM's drug as you know, is Multkine or Leukocyte Interlukin Injection for H&N Ca usually caused by squamous cell carcinomas. NWBO is for glioblastomas which develop from the glial cells in the brain. NWBO obtains dendritic cells from GBM resections and mfgs. DCVAX from them.If approved , as an extra bonus, I,m betting both will be used 'off label' until they undergo more trials for other cancers.

Growing up one of our families best friends was a vet. I remember him giving one of his children a tetracycline for animal use for some type of infection. He said it was the same drug for humans with a different name. He just adjusted the mg (dose) for human use.

McMagyar-“why are we down”? My simplistic answer is the one I’ve used in over 30+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical investing. At least 80% of biotech ‘traders’ should never be here because they look at a drug product as just another ‘widget’, designed today, manufactured next week, and marketed week after, to make a few bucks on. Probably never took a biology/science course in their life just as many politicians failed to do-or even failed science courses.
The perfect example was yesterday with those same ‘traders’ , not investors, selling AVXL on positive news while expecting something like “FDA APPROVAL” , not understanding the approval process. All IMO.

A poster pm’d me as to how I discovered CVM & NWBO so early and I cannot reply privately. With CVM it was from the Tom Bishop newsletter rec. I’ve traded it several times since 1987 but have been long for a few years now.

Agree totally. The last four years have been more damaging to science, especially medical science, than the last 40. Science has been replaced by hoaxes & root doctors especially when Covid was announced as a Chinese hoax to harm a re-election causing hundreds of Americans to die, regretfully some by their fault believing those “hoaxes”. Hopefully the FDA will return to science based facts without political coercion which should be a positive for SERN.

100% correct. Ignorant hoax & conspiracy theories about Covid have been spread from the top down since day one. It’s mind boggling the number of people swallowing these lies hook,line, and sinker.
