I've worked in auto industry for 45 years. All auto manfu have recalls in any given years...like the GM massive ignition switch. Ford was the only Auto Co with plenty of cash that didn't take a bailout loan in 2008. The shorts have been controlling F for too long as why this stock has been depressed. Ford needs to start a buying back shares which will drive away the shorts....
F is the most undervalued Auto stock in industry especially when you consider GM s/p
I agree. Just don't understand how a few self driving cars make the roads safer when people driver cars are on the road at same time.
Not for long....
I agree but some investors are buying all those shares at such low s/p regardless of claims Lampert is dumping more shares on market. My question is what investor would blindly invest in penny stock like llli with practically no reported sales in past year unless they know something that we don't.....
Been in and out of Ford over the past year but happy I'm back in. Looks like a possible breakout move in near future.
Somebody has knowledge of sales as why the volume plus increase s/p range.
Stock is way undervalued. It should be trading in the $16's not at current levels.

Check out this link what the new Bronco may look like.

It appears actual sales $ News will be released soon.
Yes I couldn't agree more provided Ford hire a money marketer to manage short sales.
Typical GOP comment blame everything on Obama. Today is nothing like 2007-08 economy.
Hard to figure considering Fords 2015 #s Automatic set stops in mutual fund accts and individuals stock accounts is probably the main reason for the continued downward slide in Ford.
I added a few @12.83
Yes I'm buying at these low s/p like others. Believe those sales Barry mentioned this week will materialize in 2016
So what's the purpose of spending all day everyday posting nothing but negative fear if you don't own shares?
No one relentlessly bash a stock without a reason. If he's not short he has an ex employee that was fired and still hold a grudge.
If you haven't covered your shorts yet please do so today as I'm buying at these prices...
No buses and heavy trucks have been running on roads for years with propane conversions and proven safe with proper holding tanks. It reduces operating cost by more than half with less emissions.
A few part time temp jobs off shore with lower wages is nothing compared the 99% of US companies produce their billion dollar industry of electronics we use every day i.e. smartphones, TV, watches, jewelry and many other gadgets in factories offshore for lower labor cost. No one complaints every time we buy these good labeled made in China, Taiwan, and other countries. When you consider many assembly line workers are making over $30 per hour plus bonuses Ford like any other company must explore a ways to limit rising cost to make a profit for its shareholders as same time limit rising vehicle sticker shock.
Also Ford Employees selling those free investment shares to pay for Christmas.
Where ever it bottoms out, I'm buying more as the shorts start bidding up
s/p again.
Ford is 1st car company. Will never happen as they have plenty of cash and lot of real property. Stock price is secondary to their business model.
Well I better buy a few pre market shares too down .55 cents. Didn't think about shorts running to the hills
Why would anyone be selling share pre-market $15.14 from yesterday close $15.68. Doesn't make any sense with 3rd earnings.
Stong early trades. Should break $16 by month end.
It appears to me someone is accumulating shares. Makes no sense to prop up bid to buy higher price on 200 or 20k shares. There must be a seller and buyer for a transaction at same ask and bid. Your theory of manipulation to pay more just to make close look better doesn't make sense.
My guess there we will see a press release soon that will explain why those are buying at these low share prices.
There were several very large trades 300k near end of trading that dropped
s/p. Someone needed a lot of cash yesterday.
Sean Williams: It's far from the fastest growing stock in the world, but when it comes to bargains for both value and income investors, I have a hard time finding a more attractive stock than automaker Ford (NYSE:F).
The easiest reason to like Ford is that it's doing a great job of listening to its customers and giving them what they want. We're seeing more technological luxuries in the cabins of its vehicles, and best of all it's not causing the price of its midrange cars to shoot into the stratosphere. We're also seeing a discernible push toward its EcoBoost engines, which provide better fuel efficiency without sacrificing power when needed. And, of course, Ford knows how to hit a variety of price points to appeal to as large a population as possible.
Ford also has the most loyal customer base around, at least according to IHS Automotive which looked at 16.5 million new-vehicle registrations and discovered that Ford owners were the most likely to stay within the brand. Comparatively, rival General Motors is clawing back from more than 30 million recalled vehicles in 2014, and overseas rival Volkswagen dropped a bombshell last month that it's essentially been lying about the emissions rating of its diesel engine vehicles. While no saint, Ford is looking like a trustworthy name in the automotive sector.
Lastly, think about the global opportunity waiting in the wings for Ford. It's eventually pushing for 10% of China's rapidly growing auto market, while also making inroads in India and other emerging markets. Ford's global opportunity is far from saturated.
Thus, with Ford capable of $2 in EPS by as soon as 2017 (current stock price is around $14), trading at a PEG ratio of just 0.4, and yielding in excess of 4%, I'm ready to suggest it's one of the market's best bargains.
Exactly, When I saw this on nightly News I looked for the News online for details and wondered why no mentions of plan to tackle vehicle emissions which is the single biggest problem in China.
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday will announce a nationwide cap-and-trade program to curtail carbon emissions, adopting a mechanism most widely used in Europe to limit greenhouse gases, Obama administration officials said:

It's those crazy's in Congress and the Senate that's retarded!
I got the 52 week high from this blog recap on Ford. I found this blog on google a few months ago. Tell someone to fix Ford' s data page.
That's true today but 3% represent over 3 million short shares. Short sells is main reason S/P has dropped from 52 week high of $46.60 s/p
Ford remains profitable for many reasons including overseas sales. They were the only US Car company that didn't take Gov funds bailout. Like I said Ford can drive off shorties if they so desire.
Ford gains don't hold due to large # of regular short sells. One day Ford will wake up and fix the massive shorting of their stock.
Ford is the best buy in today's market.
I'm not the one that post negative comments of LLLI which is designed to create fear so investors rush to sell shares at market to drive down s/p. Its a classic post in hope they can cover their short positions at the expense of others. No body takes the time to stay online everyday all day run analysis on trades like Captian unless there is a personal interest....So that's why I said I agree it must be your only job.
