That's true today but 3% represent over 3 million short shares. Short sells is main reason S/P has dropped from 52 week high of $46.60 s/p
Ford remains profitable for many reasons including overseas sales. They were the only US Car company that didn't take Gov funds bailout. Like I said Ford can drive off shorties if they so desire.
