I guess the question I have is why would they not have the authority to accept this buyout? if it is small/big
any thoughts to what this may intend?
my question is why would THE BOARD consult their legal council if the OFFER is small or big?
just wondering if anyone is familiar to why a company would want or even have to do that
does that make sense?
you have to assume an offer of more than $20-30 million?
they can make at least that with what they have going on...Cooper Inc. alone was estimated spending about $1.5 Million in 2010...
thats just one company....THRR is expanding worldwide with this...
the company KNOWS WHAT THEY HAVE HERE.....and to have the majority of the board like the offer which by the way they said, " is significantly over the current PPS....
HOPING FOR THE BEST!!
lol...hmmmm,
i keep running into picks with you on them...is that good?
liking what i see here though!!
whats with the $25,000 from 3rd party about for ICNB?
I was thinking of getting in but not sure.

S&P REITERATES HOLD OPINION ON SHARES OF COOPER INDUSTRIES
(Standard & Poor's)
We are keeping our Q1 EPS estimate of $0.69, despite some negative impact from foreign exchange swings, and our full year '10 forecast of $2.83. These are in line with today's reiterated CBE guidance. Over the next several years, performance in the U.S. should lag relatively, as we see emerging markets becoming more important to the company, as those markets expand more rapidly. We see cash flow and balance sheet strength supportive of acquisitions and other potentially value-adding actions. On a blend of DCF and P/E analyses, we keep our $48 target price.

Cooper Lighting Products Recognized in Next Generation Luminaires Solid-State Lighting Design Competition
2:30p ET February 17, 2010 (Business Wire)
Cooper Lighting, a division of Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE) has announced that four of its products have been recognized for excellence by the Next Generation Luminaires(TM) (NGL) Solid-State Lighting Design Competition. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and the International Association of Lighting Designers, the second annual NGL competition was created to recognize and promote excellence in the design of energy-efficient LED commercial lighting luminaires. Cooper Lighting's four awarded products were chosen as winners in four different categories of lighting for both indoor and outdoor environments, showing diversity of the vast company offering of LED products.
The products that have been "recognized," meaning the products are recommended for specification, include Cooper Lighting's Halo Stasis LED track lighting luminaires, the Halo LED 900 recessed downlight series, the Invue LED Entri wall-mount luminaires, and the Streetworks OVH LED Cobrahead roadway luminaire.
"We are extremely honored to have our products recognized for superior design, performance and reliability," says Neil Schrimsher, President, Cooper Lighting. "We invest heavily in product development across all of our portfolio of quality brands and these awards validate our commitment to providing sustainable, energy-efficient LED solutions for our customers."
Earning praise in the accent lighting category, the Halo Stasis LED luminaire is a track-mounted accent fixture, available in two sizes (Small and Medium), three optical distributions (Spot, Narrow Flood and Flood) and two color temperatures (3000K and 4000K). Providing excellent color quality (85 CRI), the Small luminaire consumes only 8 watts with an equivalent intensity of a 50W PAR halogen lamp and the Medium fixture consumes 18 watts, providing the intensity of the 120W PAR halogen or 39W CMH lamp.
Recognized in the recessed downlighting category, the Halo LED 900 series is a new addition to the Halo LED 6" aperture high lumen downlight offering that delivers in the range of 511-945 lumens (depending on the trim and selected color temperature) yielding smooth beam distribution with excellent cutoff. Designed for new construction (with the LED housing Series H750x) or retrofit applications into compatible incandescent housings (using the Edison screw base adapter included), the Halo LED 900 series offers comparable light output and distribution of a 75W PAR30 or PAR38 halogen lamp, or a 26W compact fluorescent luminaire, while consuming less than 15 watts. In addition, the new Halo LED 900 series offers several models that achieve ENERGY STAR(R) qualification.
The Invue Entri LED was recognized in the wall-mount area lighting category. The state-of-the-art LED luminaire features architectural appeal in a compact form. Designers are offered vast versatility in function and performance through downward illumination, upward illumination or a combination of both, in addition to energy saving bi-level switching capabilities and egress solutions using LED battery packs. There is a choice of eight optical distributions and two lumen outputs. Entri's design offers effortless quick-mounting capabilities, toolless access, and sustainable design features that allow field replacement of the LightBAR(TM) and driver system.
Chosen in the street/roadway lighting fixtures category, the OVH LED area luminaire offers a choice of 15 optical patterns and four lumen outputs and is designed for area, walkway, and roadway applications. The 27"L x 13"W x 7"H housing is heavy-duty, die-cast aluminum. The entire LED assembly, individual LightBAR(TM) optical modules, and the driver can be replaced in the field. No tools are required for access. Cooper also offers this product in the Lumark and Streetworks brand portfolios.
Twelve judges independently evaluated 126 products by assessing their lighted performance and appearance, construction, and photometric data with special attention focused on serviceability/replacement issues. Forty-three commercial LED products were chosen as "recognized" winners and four were honored as "best in class." The winning products were announced and awarded at a ceremony at the Strategies in Light conference in Santa Clara, California held on February 11, 2010.

HUGE!!CHECK IT OUT!!
THRR IS WORTH MILLIONS!!
Follow me with this.
The money is in the product....obviously right? There have been many Companies that have tried to succeed in producing what THRR has recently but has failed. THRR HAS SUCCEEDED IN THIS!!
Were talking companies worldwide.
According to the company, the success of the new material is due to the high level of distribution of the particulate and this is exactly where many companies have failed before. These results will enable Thresher to obtain a large market penetration in this highly profitable industry. The company, through its partnership with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo anticipates further developing this material as well as other materials for strength, wear resistance and heat dissipation for use in vehicles, reducing emissions and fuel consumption via weight reduction in this multi-billion dollar industry.
HOW BIG IS THIS? You know if Cooper Inc. is in, you can gaurantee there will be many, many others others to follow. Coopers alone put in an estimated $1.5 Million in orders for 2010. LOL...that order alone with THRR being a baby right now in its new development is only the beginning.
THRR CEO says,"Our customers will require higher volumes of material and to deliver those we need to have the equipment that can do that on a production basis. Prior to this, we have been able to produce up to 3,000 pounds of material per shift, this will triple that capability."

Thresher Industries Board of Directors Discusses Sale of CompanY
9:08a ET March 12, 2010 (PR NewsWire)
Thresher Industries (Pink Sheets: THRR) announced today that there was a special meeting of the Board of Directors to discuss a Letter of Intent to buy Thresher Industries that was received on March 9, 2010 and the terms of the offer. This offer represents an attractive package with a deal suggested that is significantly above the current market price range. While the Board of Directors came to no final conclusions, the sentiment was very favorable towards the proposal. In deciding whether or not to proceed with the sale, The Board has concluded it needs to consult with its legal council as to whether the Board has the authority to accept the offer; or whether a shareholder meeting must be called to vote on the matter. The company anticipates disclosing the results of the legal council's investigation to be announced on Monday March 15th 2010.
Why would they even consult with its legal council if they didn't want to accept the offer?
Considering what THRR has recently done and where they are currently at, the offer would have to be HUGE for THRR to even consider and especially to have THE BOARD like the offer......
THIS IS BIG!!!!!
Mustve been his wife on Feb 23 who was scooping up those 500 million shares...perfect day to do it
Maybe this was already addressed but why would THRR have to consult legal council if majority of board was for the buyout and it was in the benefit of shareholders?
Does this statement have any weight behind it to assume anything wheter good or bad?
lol...for sure!
new to trading but i learned that real quick
only the big/ask show up ....this is considered L1 right?
it doesn't show the amount of bids/asks at specific price
I have L2 on TDA also, but the majority of OTC does not appear...is this the same for you?
thanks
THANKS PIMP
whats L2 look like? THANKS!
the 500 million volume on Feb. 23 the day before all these PR's started coming out, you would think means more than just a flip for profit...i still dont get it, but the odd volume on the 23rd makes sense now considering whats been revealed
thanks
Will a buyout bring the PPS up based off volume or how does it work exactly?
L2 PLEASE
PPS after buyout
what is a very very conservative esitmate if there is a buyout?
.0020?
.0050?
what are some thoughts?
looking for .09 to break even...anything from here sounds good to me!!
I've noticed the last 4-5 PR's are about a month behind. This is interesting actually b/c if there is a buyout that happens, or even just the PR that was released today, it makes a little more sense to why there was the odd volume on Tuesday Feb. 23......1 day before the continuation of PR's recently.
Heck, I dont know!!
Cooper Inc. also has a new tool order Pres. which previously was V.P. ....hmmmmmmmm?
Assuming that the PR's are a month behind, is there any reason to why THRR would even release some of the news they did knowing what already is decided...
lol..wow, now im just rambling on and on....GO THRR
.0008 is the very least we see this week IMO. I've seen this stock trade before and this time we have a lot of push behind us now!!
The thing that blows my mind which nobody has given an answer and being a new trader I definitely dont know is, why on Tuesday Feb. 23, there was over 500 million in volume THE DAY BEFORE the big PR came out on the 24th. 500 million on what? That day the majority of the .0002's were scooped by someone. Then followed the rest of the news for THRR. I dont think this has any signifigance based off todays PR but it was just weird to me. With the .0002's scooped by whoever, is there any reason to why?
Any thoughts?
I have to get out of TDA.
Commission is killing me..dropped almost $600 in 2 1/2 months...lol...and thats about 1/3 of my bankroll..
thanks for the advice SHOLTZ, but I have to say " I AM STILL HERE!!"
My only reason for selling today is simply b/c of personal investment reasons. Do I believe that this will bounce back? I do!
Because I've made some horrible investment decisions, and that has nothing to do with the stocks i'm in, but my exit strategies.
I'll be up 150-400% and end up with maybe 75-125% profit. Even take a loss b/c i've held on too long. Again, thats my problem.
I do BELIEVE THOUGH THAT THIS WILL BE FINE.
OVERALL, this week hasn't been all that good so far for the market.
at least w/ a lot of the top penny stocks posted in I-HUB
For sure BJ!!
well said and encouraging!!
I'M in at .26 and gotta be honest that its tough to hold even yesterday. And then today?
This comment may not be the most positive but honest thoughts
L2 ANYONE?
lol...many many buyers on last news run, and WHEN the volume is noticed again or the same thing that brought them here the 1st time, they will be back in for sure..many thought this was a DUD.....
LOL...WWOOWOWOWOWWW
LOAD UP AT 6 AND IT DROPS
im actually really surprised what this is doing today.
I had the first buy at .0165..thought for sure i wouldn't see any lower.
we'll see
HUGE NEWS FOR THRR
UNTIL THE NEXT PR COMES OUT I TRULY BELIEVE MANY ARE WAITING
B/C OF THE SHARE STRUCTURE. MY OPINION
LOL...I KNEW IT WAS COMING!!!!
