AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - United States Oil & Gas Corporation (USOG), a growing oil and gas products, services and technology company, is pleased to announce that it has closed its acquisition of United Oil ("United"), a profitable North Dakota-based distributor of refined fuels and other oil-based products.

USOG acquires Turnbul Oil Inc. - SOLD BACK TO OWNER OCTOBER 1, 2011
AUSTIN,  TX-- (May 18, 2009) - United States Oil and Gas Corp (USOG), a Delaware corporation, today announced that it has finalized and signed the purchase agreement of Turnbull Oil, Inc. (Turnbull), a profitable oil and gas distributer located in Plainville, Kansas. The acquisition included Turnbull subsidiary Basinger, Inc. which is located in Utica, Kansas, and has 30,000 gallon storage capacity for propane as well as over 300,000 gallons of storage available in portable tanks ranging in size from 100 gallon to 1,000 gallons.

Intellectual Property

Patent for A SIMPLE FIBEROPTIC SEISMOMETER FOR RUGGED ENVIROMENTS that may reduce the cost of seismic sensor arrays having the fidelity and reliability necessary for permanent downhole and seafloor installations. The advancement should make big oil techniques for oilfield production management and exploration available to middle market players.

In addition to our acquisition strategy, USOG intend to investigate the development or licensing of our patented proprietary motion sensor technology for rugged environments. The patent was issued in the United States on May 11, 2010 under patent number 7,714,271 B1, and if applicable maintenance fees are paid, the patent has a term of 20 years from the date of issuance. We have not filed patent applications in any other country. We hope this intellectual property will facilitate the successful development and commercialization of techniques and devices enabling greener exploration and production; ones that minimize the environmental footprint of drilling activity. This technology, called Simple Fiber Optic Seismometer for Harsh Environments, is a motion sensor that registers the force and measures the magnitude of an environmental disturbance.
