First order for Stealth Sensor already placed:
United States Army 5th Special Forces Unit places first major order for Stealth Sensor(TM)
Paradigm Tactical Products Inc. (Other OTC:PDGT.PK - News), a leading provider of detection technology and homeland security solutions to the military as well as to the corrections, law enforcement and security industry has received its first significant order for the Stealth Sensor™.
The Stealth Sensor™ is the newest version device of the Paradigm Tactical Products metal detection product line. This new product replaces the older FriskerPRO and provides a superior product to the marketplace.
Paradigm Tactical Products CEO Vincent Cammarata discussed this milestone stating, “The sale to the US Army 5th Special Forces Unit is a powerful affirmation of our decision to enhance the aging FriskerPRO. The engineering behind the Stealth Sensor™ is state of the art utilizing Bluetooth synchronization to both single and multiple remote receivers overcoming a critical shortcoming of the FriskerPRO.” Cammarata went on to say, “In the coming months we intend to allocate the Stealth Sensor™ to our distributors worldwide which will allow us to maximize the profit potential of this new product. Both the designers, engineers and sales staff have made a tremendous effort to bring the company to this goal. We will continue to work at making further sales and product developments to grow the company and enhance shareholder value.” About Paradigm Tactical Products Paradigm Tactical, based in Georgetown, Massachusetts, is a leading provider of detection technology and homeland security solutions to the military as well as corrections, law enforcement and security industry. To that, I would say... Look at the company. Look at the products. Look at the trend of follow through in communication and performance by the company. If you are talking about impatience over matters transpired in the past few months then maybe this isn't the company for you. It will take some more performance by the company and some steadfast investors to form a reliable base in this company. IMO, that base is forming.
GLTU
This week is week of Nov 17-21. I'm thinking there may be more reassurance of a pending balance sheet and incomestatement as the company has said it intends to publish. I think general statements about sales and announcements of any significant contracts could also be coming. I think this because of...
This news on Nov 10: "The RAD-30P is in a rapid test for air transportation safety and the RadSafe(TM) has just completed and passed scintillator testing clearing the way for full production."
The 30 October PR made it sound like the RAD-30P already had sales:
"Paradigm Tactical has been receiving overwhelming interest in the RAD-30P, its newest product, and securing a relationship with a company the size of Hagemeyer will enable rapid growth in sales for the remainder of 2008 and into next year.
Paradigm Tactical Products Chief Executive, Vincent Cammarata, commented, "We were pleasantly surprised with the great interest in the RAD-30P wand. In fact we were not prepared for it. The relationship with Hagemeyer will take advantage of the momentum we now have and allow us to expand at a more rapid pace." "
Good info. Thank you.
Yeah, sounds like lotto to me. Unless something special happens. You never know.
No, I've been watching it... not familiar with the whole R/M story.
If it were me I'd just wait til you can get .0001 for the $100 lotto play (1M shares). This company has some turning around to do.
IMO, of course.
It took you this long to sticky him??? lol j/k of course but... sheesh!
Very nice, thank you.
LET'S GET READY TO RUUUUUMMMBBBBLLLLLLLLEEE!!!!
this is gonna get good..
You mean this docket number? 08-1747-B
VEEE TEEE PEEE FTW!!!
Good job man!
When Stock H.O.G talks... People listen.
Very good post and a good illustration of the power of enhanced communication (i.e. the internet). The following makes business sense and goes further to connect the dots:
"Perhaps Hagemeyer wants Stealth and RadDetect if they become available. Those would be exclusive to Paradigm."
This reinforces the benefits of a business partnership with Paradigm.
Yes, you got it.
Buy what? Unless you are calling out Paradigm as lying about what they have presented in PR's... what do you mean? Distributors contacting the manufacturer does not guarantee sales, especially if pre-existing distibutorship agreements are in place.
"Hagemeyer can buy directfrom Sam Young if they want."
I agree with you. Sort of makes the "largest US distributor" PR make sense...
I beleive it is an actual letter from LPR. Knowing what we know from PR's and the fact that LPR is a consulting company makes this sensible. LPR acknowledging Paradigm Global as a distributor is GOOD. Knowing that Paradigm is working for Master Global Distributorship falls in with the "depending on your geographical region..." LPR was also interested in introducing potential purchasers to Paradigm.
Also good news is that LPR has to direct potential new distributors to Samyoung. Why is that good news? It's perfectly normal, that's why. Any smart manufacturer keeps new product distribution leads open. Maybe some aussie distributors have started hearing about radiation/metal detectors. Maybe a US distributor wants to make a sweeter offer than Paradigms. Of course, if that's the case, I'm sure there would be some legal issues to wade through.
All things considered, I'm confident with the state of business so far. I like what I'm hearing and the way the DD is coming together. The dots are connecting nicely.
"Paradigm Global is one of Samyoung’s distributors in US. Depending on your geographical region and any governmental needs we recommend the most suited reseller. If you want to work with Paradigm Global, please feel free to. I will be happy to make an introduction. If you want to resell Samyoung’s detectors, we will connect you to the manufacturer. Just let us know what your position is."
People have to stand up and take notice. This product is going to be everywhere... soon.
If I remember correctly, all that we know from PR's is that Paradigm will be the biggest US distributor. The company being linked to is out of Canada.
He was responging to the flafly guy: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=33487330
Yep, I've attended tech trade shows before with absolutely zero interest in buying things. So, I can imagine how seasoned tradeshow exhibiters must feel. However, every salesperson knows that optimism is hugely important and the more contact you get the better. Volume of contact and attempts equates to greater sales. As a viewer and not a buyer, I walk away with impressions of what I saw, "man that panasonic toughbook is sweet... that would make deployments a breeze". Or, "man, what they can do with sensors and bluetoothe now is crazy".
All things considered, I'm interested in what the next month or so will bring.
And as for Paradigm's intention at the IACP, I think this sums it up, "The IACP offers an ideal opportunity for Paradigm to showcase its RAD-30P Radiation/Metal detector wand as well as the RadSafe(TM) detector".
Good point and I agree. Paradigm/Hagermeyer... very nice indeed.
I'm just going to venture out some connect-the-dots method reasoning. PDGT is a small, struggling, emerging company. How much does it cost to rent a booth at this apparently prestigious trade show?
PDGT connects to Hagermeyer as a distributor partnership. Hagermeyer has many products and probably will showcase the newest technology at... oh I don't know... cutting edge trade shows? Hagermeyer being the Walmart and PDGT being the TAZER in infant state I'd say it's perfectly reasonable to see Paradigm's products within the Hagermeyer showcase.
Could this have been communicated better in the PR? Hell yes. Is what I've proposed a verifiable fact? Hell no. Is any of this a show stopper? Hell no. Was today's PR good news? Yep.
IMO
As an investor in Paradigm I believe I do have a positive influence on the company. In one way or another we all have a voice rather it be by our financial support of the company and products or through word of mouth to potential beneficiaries of Paradigm's products.
I think you should give your self more credit. Any investor should realize their influence and potential to positively affect the company they believe in.
IMO
Income statement and balance sheet within 50 days.
imo
Ahh, I didn't have the most current info.
Buys outpacing sales 3:1 for now. only one recorded buy at .0008 and it was only 5k shares. This still has a ways to go. Still a nice entry opportunity.
Another milestone week for Paradigm. Good luck to all longs. Our little company won't be so little for very long...
In regards to your post:
GEORGETOWN, Mass., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Paradigm Tactical Products Inc. (Pink Sheets: PDGT.PK - News), a leading provider of detection technology and homeland security solutions to the military as well as to the corrections, law enforcement and security industry signs an agreement which will make the company the largest distributor of a unique combination radiation and metal detection wand and four additional detector models in the United States. In addition an on going Global Master Distributor discussion will be finalized by the new year.
So, basically Paradigm is the largest distributor for the US and possibly the world.
You can't purchase from the alibaba links you indicated earlier. So, as far as I can tell, no one can just jump right in and buy directly from Unitech. It stands to reason Paradigm is a distributor. Time will tell.
Right, the patent is pending.
"We developed patent pending technology that uses the latest
Bluetooth protocols instead of a bulky hand worn unit."
Prov. Patent # 61/035,389
Stealth Sensor to replace FriskerPro with latest Bluetooth protocols:
The FriskerPRO has been the lead product for Paradigm Tactical
Products for over 5 years. However during that period the original
patent became technologically outdated. The engineers at Paradigm
Tactical have been working on a replacement technology that addresses
the deficiencies of the FriskerPRO. The FriskerPRO has been plagued
with excessive noise, excessive vibration as well as some other
issues. Many of these deficiencies originated when the product was
patented. Unlike the FriskerPRO, the Stealth Sensor was professionally
designed utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
A majority of FriskerPRO users indicated that a silent model
detector would be preferred as they felt their safety was at risk when
a hand worn detector is activated during a search and the vibrating
unit buzzes or the subject feels a vibration during a pat down search.
The Stealth Sensor belt worn receiver, pocket receiver, or ear worn
receiver design resolves this problem. The Stealth Sensor is
adjustable to allow detection from a greater distance from the
subject. The alerting devices incorporated into the Stealth Sensor are
also adjustable in volume or vibration strength. The Stealth Sensor is
also rechargeable. Additional features of the Stealth will include GPS
tracking and synchronization with cell phones to transmit or alert
other locations.
By incorporating Bluetooth transmitting technology, the receivers
can be worn or carried by additional officers on the scene of a
subject search. The officers would then be silently alerted if the
subject being searched was found to have a metal object by the hand or
wrist worn search band during the search.
Vincent Cammarata, Paradigm Tactical Products Chief Executive,
boasted, "The FriskerPRO was a good product in its time. That time has
now passed. The Stealth Sensor will make sales where the FriskerPRO
never could." Cammarata added, "The Stealth Sensor is an entirely new
concept. Our engineers realized that a user did not need a hand worn
metal detector. They only needed a sensor on either their palm or
wrist. We developed patent pending technology that uses the latest
Bluetooth protocols instead of a bulky hand worn unit. When a police
officer uses the Stealth Sensor he will never worry if a suspect will
feel the vibration of a hand worn unit as all the electronics are
securely placed in his pocket or on his utility belt. A very large
number of sales have been lost over the past five years due to the
excessive vibration/noise issues of the FriskerPRO. Now with the
Stealth Sensor we hope to capture those numerous sales and many new
ones as well."
From http://www.paradigmglobalproducts.com/__home.html :
The Company owns rights to license, manufacture, market, and sell various detection devices. We are continually seeking new patents to license and purchase as well as maintaining an extensive engineering staff to develop and patent our own innovative technology.
These devices include hand worn sensors to detect concealed weapons and key fob radiation detectors for both law enforcement and civilian use. Our research staff is constantly developing new technology that will both enhance the capabilities of law enforcement as well as provide personal security and awareness for civilians.
I posted a link to a business week article
actually it was more of a quote page with business info. nothing new
Thanks for the info.
This him? So he's sort of an employee? A director? Hmmm:
http://www.linkedin.com/in/jlatorella
No and I haven't really pressed that hard. I'd imagine Tina & DurkDiggler could shed more light on that.
I know PDGT has products and someone else has to be involved in getting things together other than the CEO. I'm not interested in harrassing employees but some organizational chart showing dept's/man-power would be good.
Thank you for your service.
Good morning
Well, since VC has come on board he's said he would add new products. Follow through on that was effective. I thought the FriskerPro was a fantatic idea when I first heard about it and I'm sure it still has uses. However, the Bluetooth/GPS technology is just in a class by itself. In addition to freeing up sentries' hands and allowing clandestine detection, protectors can now be centrally managed and deployed for effective neutralization of threats. This is really exciting stuff in the homeland defense and security arena.
