That's the optional reverse split. Both go in effect at the same time?
What happened to BP in January/February that caused her to shoot up?
I see you posted on the TDCP board. You should check out PVHO. Very good share structure. Management has Gil Amelio (of former Apple CEO & AT&T board member). 3D products.
I thought I posted on this board before. Sorry!
I did not read that, when does the 1.5 billion authorized shares go in to effect?
I don't know. Check and see if the TA is gagged.
PVHO
Buying pressure: 160,000 v. Selling pressure: 70,000
Provision is still in an uptrend, I see. Either way there needs to be news to move this baby up or down.
Why would a manufacturer mention their buyers? I hardly read much about PrimeSense mentioning Microsoft let alone Provision. PrimeSense, of course, is going to wait until Provision becomes a giant success first.
The deal was worked out last July. The rollout started last November/December and may still be going on. According to recent articles, the rollout should taking place around Q1 2011. I imagine being in Q2 a good part of the rollout has happened, or whatever, Kodak and Provision wanted.
Fine for me.
PVHO is making a come back. CMF is positive for the first time since its last big run.
VERT took a leak all over today's ticker tape parade. I imagine they're pretty much done.
Right now its in Southern California.
Yup. Provision owns the patent and 40 other patents as well as trademarks to their brand.
Circle K is already rolling out and maybe is even completed. I would just love to hear from Kodak and Provision regarding the roll out or completion or progress of it to date.
I honestly think that we can see $0.20+ with another run. There's alot of information still waiting to come out: KODAK/Circle K, Fortune 500 partnerships, etc. They also operate financially responsible. Although I wish maybe Curt would of sold more rights and licensing agreements with the grocery store network, it would be a bigger money maker in the long run.
Right now, assuming the seller is done, I think we can see PVHO fly. She just needs to get into the buzz cloud, I think, or some newsletter needs to dish it out to their readers.
Agreed. Accumulation/Distribution is big now. MFI and CMF (positive) are all up. Signs that a run is in place. The 50-MA is starting to curl up too. So I think we can try breaking the 200-MA and stay above it from now on.
I think people are sidelined because they want to wait until the Sorcius financing deal is done is or at least considerably over with... So now the stock is ready to fly again, IMHO.
Once there's buying pressure... we fly...
I do think we'll be at the $0.20 soon.
NITE @ 0.07
PVHO >> making a run today >> CMF positive >> Stochastics oversold
PVHO on the run!
Out of the starting blocks nice and hot!
Interesting. Too many MM games.
MFI is at 60.
CMF is in the green.
For the most part, I think, investors do not know about Provision and their technology. While it has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and reported by Reuters Thompson in their 3D report, people are looking at the mainstream companies. So when companies like Panasonic and Samsung are touting glasses-3D, other companies are looking to innovate.
Provision is emerging from the television market to more of an interactive 3D environment. They are not looking to sell their products on a mass scale. Instead, they're looking to sell their environment in a mass scale. So they are implementing their units as an advertising attraction -- one that is currently not in use. Right now, those that are watching, want to see how its working thus far. Obviously if Kodak is involved and giving out PRs on their partnership with PVHO, it must be going well.
Overall, its going to be a waiting game. This company is one you put in and wait for the big action to happen a few months/years down the road. Provision is a small company, and not risking itself in the short term. They're working on creating a network, one unit at a time.
SSN is looking nice.
PVHO has some decent news out. PVHO! Do you have a e-mail address to reach you at?
It's possible. Lots of bid whacking going on. We'll still need to hear some potential news regarding partnerships and Fortune 500 companies. Also, an update on the Kodak roll out would be good too.
It probably went as planned. Call Lora Lindsey, their IR lady, she's nice and friendly and probaby will put up pictures on their PVHO Facebook Fan page regarding the presentation. The Circle K and Kodak deal is in progress. They're all ready rolling out the units and all that, so I imagine, during the next month we'll get an update on the progress.

I am not tearing 3DIcon apart. I was concerned that they had a press release about NASA grant funding that has since passed (meaning they didn't get it) and there is word going on saying that "NASA is interested". Its erronous and misleading. My problem is that they are touting something that has since passed or is pre-mature (1 year away) while there is dilution going on. Like I wrote, its good that Boeing is "interested".
FYI, TDCP's brother company, Provision is partnered with Microsft, Google, Kodak, Circle K, former Apple CEO Gil Amelio, etc. Partnerships are more than "interest" agreed?
Letters of Interest is meaningless. When you submit a proposal you go out and find vendors that will either supply you with parts or services. They write a one page letter saying what they intend to do or that they may be willing to participate (supply parts, offer services, etc.). Since 3DIcon didn't specify Boeing's stake or interest, I can imagine it was only pertinent to the NASA proposal that didn't get funded. Letter of Commitment is more important and usually means their interest is beyond the proposal (speaking from 10 years experience in grant proposal writing).
My concern is that they have a press release either 1) about a grant that didn't get funded (they didn't specify which grant they applied for but I'll assume SBIR) or 2) that they will recieve in the future.
There's no way they got the NASA one. They're not listed in the awardees list. It's awarded in December 2010 for the 2011 year. They have to submit in July - September and it won't get announced until December 2011. The earliest they would recieve funds is 1 year from now for a Phase I, 6-9 months later they could recieve a Phase II funding.
I would say its very pre-mature of them to be forecasting funding opportunities 9 months to 1 year from now. NSF grants are about the same time, so they'll have to wait for that one too.
If you're a researcher it isn't a big deal because you're not concerned with making money. If you're a publically traded business, it is a big deal because every year that goes away, is a year of exclusive rights to use the patent.
Check out Orbital Sciences Corp.'s patents on air-launched rockets. The patents are starting to expire on the rights which they've had from the 90s. Soon Orbital wont be the sole competitor in that niche. They've since branched their business into other markets (small sat and rocket manufacturing).
Boeing expressing interest is a big deal? Sure. It would be a big deal if a big company wasn't. However, usually there are more than one Letter of Intent (LOI) or Letter of Interest when applying for a partnership or grant funding. A LOI usually means you have someone try out the product with certain rights. For Boeing, they may have exclusive rights for a defense company.
NASA Phase III funding won't happen. I can vouch for that. Also it would be 3 years in the making. NASA will only fund software in a Phase III implementation with previous funding opportunities.
While at it, the National Lottery is at $20 million. I think 3DIcon should come out and say they plan on getting funding while investing in a $5 ticket from it.
The problem is, they pump out needless PRs that don't mean anything. Intent. Interest. These are forward looking statements that don't necessarily mean the company is going to do it. It is especially concerning if they're focusing their time on $50,000 - $150,000 in funding for 1.2 years.
Any company anywhere could recieve $850,000 from these programs. Consider the DoD, DARPA, DoE, Department of the Interior, the National Lottery, and a money tree; 3DIcon is able to raise $20 billion.
Seriously though, for a NASA grant, Phase I funding is $50,000. Read it: http://sbir.gsfc.nasa.gov/SBIR/SBIR.html. Phase II funding is $150,000. And Phase III (commercial implementation) is $500,000+ with NASA owning royalty-free use of the item.
It is also 6-9 months away before they can apply for it (either NSF or NASA). I don't know why 3DIcon is saying they're planning to apply 6-9 months in advance.
Is this the first time you've ready about SBIR funding opportunities? 3DIcon like every other company applying, is going to have to apply for the Phase I $150,000 grant. 6-9 months later they can apply for the Phase II grant. It is TOUGH competition. Companies on the NASDAQ trading at $5+ are going to be competing. It doesn't matter how closely related the technologies are to the mission of the NSF, its going to go through rigorous academic review.
