Mad - good point, but I don't think LM is necessarily behind any effort to cripple GTEM. More likely the Murdoch empire, hedge funds, and the criminals at Amex. Of course JMVHO.
Stockdoc - yeah it did have info about Cornell, so you were probably reaching for the bourbon before getting to this part. LOL. Cripes, another disastrous day today. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever go up again...
From 8-K filed 12/12
Item 8.01. Other Events.
Jay Wright, Chairman and CEO of Mobilepro, extended his 10b5-1 purchase program of Mobilepro common stock, par value $0.01 par value per share, through March 2007 pursuant to which he purchases approximately $5,000 per month of Mobilepro common stock.
As far as whoever is selling today, I don't know. But there is definitely a lot of selling.
Raytheon seems the logical partner. They have a radar array plan that relies on proposed technology basically identical to the stratellite. But they don't have a supplier for the airship yet, according to the recent Popular Mechanics article. Seems like a marriage made in heaven. I hope GTEM is pushing hard for it. GTEM=leader in the technology right now + Raytheon=deep pockets, solid company, govt contacts. Could be a HUGE WIN/WIN. That is the optimistic scenario. But I also fear that the decision to crush GTEM has been made and IMVHO they have been pretty successful so far.
Jay has extended his purchase plan to March 2007
I think the o/s was increased to allow the use of shares for acquisitions and growing the business. And like or not, Cornell provided the cash and now they're getting the shares. Sure would be great if we found cash from another source or had the cash flow to pay off Cornell without shares, but until then, shares it is. In any event, a great 2007 is about to unfold after a really crappy 2006. GLTA.
Happy New Year to all. 2007 will be a good year for the longs who have hung in here. See you on the flip side.
Nibbler - yeah, you have to think we're due for a fairly significant correction soon. I think there's been a lot of tax loss dumping over the past week or two. That will end shortly and with some good news/numbers we'll move back up fairly quickly. Hard to see how you can go wrong buying at this level. GLTU
LOL. At least we actually closed up. First time in nearly three weeks.
cmuulin - all depends on when you bought and sold. SEIH did run from under .001 to .003 early in the year and then from .0006 to .0018. Granted, we are back in the toilet, but some traders probably made some good money here. I was up 17 grand in the first run (didn't sell fast enough to actually make that much though). You just have to think that eventually, if MCF teaches the Bickels how not to kill a rally that this thing will actually fly at some point. Also, just based on revenues alone, the stock is worth 5 to 10 times its current PPS. All we need is some decent execution that is not followed by a rally killing blunder. I definitely think it is possible we see .005 or .01 at some point in 2007 - if the Bickels stop treating shareholders as an ATM. Time will tell.
Sammie - I hope it doesn't, I bought more today. I think if/when the financing is resolved and Cornell is out of the picture, we will fly back to the .15-.20 range. If we turn back to net profit in the next couple quarters, we should run to .30-.40 again. Depending on what happens with Kite, we could be in for a much better ride than that. I'm still very bullish on 2007.
I just don't see how it goes much lower. Still, I would've said three months ago that .15 was the absolute bottom. So WTF do I know?
If they aren't going to get some other financing in the very near future, I actually just wish they would issue Cornell all the shares at once and be done with it. The uncertainty is hurting us as much as anything else.
Just made a big buy
250K shares (found some change under my couch cushions) LOL
I agree with others here. Once we're back on OTC with a motivated MM (MCF) and with a bit of real news, could be an easy double or triple from here. As I've said many many times, SEIH is worth a half cent any way you slice it.
GLTA
They're doing a good job keeping a lid on it. LOL. Crazy.
Re Q3, I don't think it will necessarily be a "disaster". Especially compared to Q1 and Q2 which were nothing to write home about. All depends on whether Centerline is improving. Huff claims it was going to be better, but then again that was Huff. I do agree that 4Q should show some positive movement in terms of reduced cash burn and some cost savings. It will also be interesting to see if HotZone is bringing in substantially more revenue. In any event, lots of negatives are baked in here - SEC, poor performance, lawsuits, AMEX delisting, potential restatements. Very likely that some of these things will be resolved in a positive way. Also remember, we still should be in the neighborhood of $80-100 mill in revenue, which leaves us at a price to revenue ratio of like .5 - hard to believe we are not oversold still. I still think GTEM will be over $1, possibly $2 by March.
I don't care if they travel to China every other week - or if they live in China. But I don't want PR's about meetings. I want PR's about closed deals and signed contracts and revenue - something firm and real. Not just, hey we went to China and had a meeting. Don't waste our time and money on that.
OT: By the way, for comparison purposes, I've made between 18% and 47% the last three years (in realized gains, not just on paper), so I have done very well in prior years. So I'm a bit freaked out that I got hosed so bad this year. First year taking a tax loss since the dotcom bust. That's why I'm curious how others did in general. Still holding MOBL though. I just don't see us anywhere near these levels this time next year - and by that I mean MUCH HIGHER. Here's hoping.
Still have not closed better than even since Dec 8th.
I have to say this is by far the worst year I've ever had in the market. Not just MOBL but I'm way down on some other stocks. And that while the Dow is setting records. However, I only trade in small and microcaps. How about others here? Is it just that I'm pathetic or has it been a terrible year for small stocks across the board?
GLTA in 07. We need some good news around here for a change...
Yeah, I know it's crazy. The manipulation here on the pinks is ridiculous. Not much better on the BB, but I think at least some people who simply won't consider pinks will trade OTC stocks. Languishing here is definitely hurting us. Hello? MCF? Probably some tax loss selling today too.
Trying to stay positive (though you wouldn't tell from my posts), because I think this stock is worth half a penny at least. But as long as this kind of BS continues, I don't know what it will take for us to move up. The stock was doing better when their litigation liabilities were greater than revenue and they were writing millions for the SecureSoft fiasco. Seems like blue skies ahead but still no love from the market. Frustrated as H-E-double-hockeysticks over here. Hopefully we'll get turned around in 2007.
Wow. Never thought we'd be here again. Bah! Humbug!
So much for their decision to form a tentative plan to consider contemplating possibly applying for eventual relisting to OTCBB at perhaps some undetermined point in the future. lol
Hehe - glad I could be the catalyst for this little discussion. LOL. Anyway, I'm not selling any MOBL at all - I am planning on dumping some other stock, but not MOBL. No way I would sell at this price. We're in for a big correction on the PPS pretty soon. GLTA.
stockdoc and choo choo - thanks for the response. That really cleared things up. LOL
Why is today the last tax loss day? Isn't that the 29th?
Also, does everyone realize we have not closed up since Dec. 8? Unreal.
Holter - per the latest 10Q
The Registrant had 2,300,000,000 shares of its common stock, $0.001 par value per share, 11,750,000 shares of its Series B Preferred Stock, $0.001 par value per share and 1,000,000 shares of its Series C Preferred Stock, $0.001 par value per share outstanding as of November 17, 2006.
Probably wasn't IMO - I think they were looking for new financing for MOBL as a whole first. Remember, those weekly payments start in January. But this is probably their fallback position. Hopefully it can be completed in the first half of 2007 and hopefully we loyal bagholders will be rewarded. Happy holidays all.
Anyone else showing only 68K volume at 10:04? What's up with that?
Thanks Stockdoc and Mickey - that's one thing we definitely have going for us - Jay and Jerry own a ton of MOBL shares, so in order for them to cash in, we cash in.
Maybe it wasn't the material event they were hoping for but the only one they could produce. Anyway, the street doesn't give a crap about it. Sigh.
What would be the benefit to MOBL shareholders of a Kite spin-off? Would we get a certain number of shares in the new company based on shares in MOBL, or would MOBL retain a 51% ownership, or what? Seems like spinning off the part of the company with the brightest future leaves us holding the bag otherwise. Love to hear from anyone with experience with this in another stock.
Hey crash - I think I was really responding to cougar about the IPOs.
Wow Cougar turned from pumper to basher overnight. I think we're all discouraged about the PPS right now, but any rational assessment says we're due for a major correction. And that correction could be huge if we get some execution on financing, etc.
Just because ClearWire or Kite for that matter go IPO doesn't mean you're going to be able to get in at a good price. Not every IPO runs like Google. GLTY. I'm hanging in here to see what 2007 brings. Got to be better than 2006.
Establishing a bull flag around .50 IMO. I think $1 is on the very near horizon.
I still think patience is the key here. Fundamentally MOBL is no worse off now than it was when the price was at .30+, except for the dilution, which is not nearly as significant in scope as it was when they were acquiring all these companies. You have to think that being a prime mover on muni wifi will pay off at some point. Also, I just think the sentiment is very negative right now as there has been such a prolonged decline in the PPS. I think that when it turns around it should get moving the other way fairly rapidly. I still can't figure out why they Jay and Jerry cannot execute a financing deal with a major partner. Seems like a no-brainer long term. Maybe they are just driving too hard a bargain. Almost anything would be better than Cornell.
Wow, that is the lamest bash I have ever seen, Cole. I've read SEC reports from dozens of small cap companies, ALL of which have contained that "going concern" language. Please try and hone your skills a bit. That is weak.
Well, according to yesterday's filing MOBL paid Cornell in shares on Dec 5 and Dec 12, so my guess is those bazturds got another tranche today and dumped at close. Just a guess.

I have to admit, I don't know if this means he exercised the options or that he just has the right to. If the latter, wouldn't this have been filed in February when they became exercisable?
Yeah, the convertible debt is a killer. And I guess nobody in a white hat is riding in for the rescue. Agh.
crash - I'm with you. I don't understand it. Also, WTF happened at end of day today?
I've been looking at the "big picture" here for about two years. I still believe SEIH will be quite successful. In many ways, they have already achieved a lot of progress with the business. At this point, however, I believe the management sees shareholders as an ATM and nothing more. I also think PR's about somebody having meetings are not material and are indeed fluff. The Abraxis relationship was announced before but the execution is still not there. Same old story.
I've got a good number of shares, but I've only bought when they are ridiculously cheap, like right now, so I'm not really down enough to worry about. So, while I appreciate your financial advice, I will not be selling this year. At some point in 2007 it is possible that the company's performance will be noticed by investors and that its management will not act to kill every rally. Now, it's also possible they'll do an R/S and/or continue to screw the shareholders in some other way. But the upside potential is far greater IMO, so I will see how this plays out.
Still, just because I think a stock has potential doesn't mean I have to be happy about every PR. GLTA.
