Five cents? When do your grandchildren need to sell? LOL
Sorry, I am a bit cynical these days. This company always seems like it's just on the cusp of great things, but the execution never happens, and if it does, it is accompanied by a slap in the face to shareholders. If Jimmy ever stops using SIVC (us) as his ATM, we might make some money.
Better yet, another PR about Jimmy traveling around China. God forbid we get a PR with any actual execution of the business plan.
If Bickel gave a hoot about the shareholders he wouldn't have diluted the crap out of our shares. To him, this stock is just an ATM. He'll float the max then R/S 1:200. Happened before, will happen again. Hate to say it, but the writing is on the wall. Unless of course we get some of these blockbuster closings which never seem to happen.
same as it ever was...
Maybe they could use some of that $4 million to by back some of these billions of shares they've dumped? The massive float is what's holding us back. All the PR's in the world won't do any good if there are more than a billion shares out.
I think I hear crickets chirping at SIVC headquaters...EOM
Fluffy PR but I liked this part:
Matthew Totty, Director of Research for Redwood Capital: "Despite the U.S. market, we are still closing deals and funding companies in China this quarter"
If they ever close another r/m I would be pleasantly surprised. These guys can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
More to the point, JB will do what benefits JB - and only JB.
They were probably Bickel's buddies and/or relatives.
The dilution is the killer. If in fact they do close some deals (and I don't believe a word they say) there could be something to salvage here. But they will r/s again in the near future and probably dilute and r/s again after that. That's just JB's MO. I mean, he has to be the most pathetic and incompetent CEO of all time. Let's recap: MCF gives him bad advice which he blindly follows, Sino's people abscond with company funds and it takes him 2 years to figure it out. And that's on top of all the previous scams and false starts. I don't know who's dumber, him or us. Probably us.
Whatever happened with the shareholder meeting and proposed r/s and whatever other nefarious machinations they proposed? I voted against the directors and all proposals, but I forgot when the meeting date was. (this one has not been on my daily radar for obvious reasons). Thanks.
At least it appears we've found a "no news" bottom. This is truly pathetic. Anyone want to lay odds on the Nov 15th filings happening in November? LOL. Tick tock.
Now Rainmaker is sounding like me. Yep, time to deliver. No more fluff PR's and delays. We've been waiting patiently since spring for S3 to deliver on a whole raft of promises, none of which has materialized. Not good IMO.
Funny how 2 million in buys didn't raise the ask. MM's letting more of their friends get in here?
Yeah, Sino seemed like more of a drain than an asset in the short term. Good to focus on the core business. I just wonder if they were able to sell any portion of it, or if they just unwound it and took a charge. since they didn't PR it, I would guess something more like the latter. But in the end, a smart move. Wow, it would be great to close another transaction or two before end of year. If so, it will be a nice christmas for shareholders.
Wait...I just found my tinfoil hat! SIVC - huge bargain here! All you weak hands sell me your shares! LOL. Just having some fun. I've still got millions of shares long. If JB can deliver anything positive before end of year I will be pretty happy. Of course, I'd be happier if I'd sold at .008 and was buying back in now, but you know what they say about hindsight...
Rainmaker, I respect your DD and work on this board, but there are just too many excuses being made for the company at this point. If there are so many unpredictable elements, then how do the vast majority of companies get their financials done by SEC deadlines 4 times a year? SIVC either shouldn't lead investors to believe in unrealistic timelines, or else the company should lean on its friggin auditor to get their act together and make it happen on time.
We've been waiting months for the good news which always seems to be 2 weeks, 2 months, whatever, down the line.Investors have simply lost patience here, that's the cold hard fact. Also, I am certain this liquidity crisis is a major challenger for SIVC's business. How could it not be? If they do actually close two transactions by end of year I'd be pleasantly surprised. I am not selling at these prices, but I wish I would have been smart enough to sell above .005. I just hope we don't see triple zeroes before something - anything - positive happens. Long and strong, and feeling pretty stupid about it now. GLTA.
Should be moving up in anticipation of numbers, not down. Maybe we'll see some big buying on the news. Hopefully this coordinated effort by the central banks will free up some capital. I'm sure the lack of funding out there and the fear that the initial price in US markets will be below real value is causing a delay in these new transactions. Long term outlook is still terrific, however. Hang on tight.
This is off topic, but I want to weigh in on these idiotic posts. Social Security is the most successful govt program in the history of the world. They've been saying it's going to go bankrupt for 40 years, and it's still 40 years out. If the "free market" republicans didn't destroy the federal budget every 8 years, solvency wouldn't even be an issue. If all retirees were reliant on the stock market, as you seem to suggest, they would all be looking for homeless shelters right now. Most poeple get far more money out of the system than they ever pay in, so I don't know how anyone could think it's unfair. People who work hard all their lives and never have enough money to trade stocks still deserve a chance to retire with at least some dignity - and Social Security provides that safety net. Rant over.
If Rain is right, that's good. They can book the 1.8 mill in revenue or whatever for 2008. That makes sense. In that case, it boils down to where they are getting the money to fund operations. Certainly the FSIN proceeds are financing part of it (possibly all, which would be the best case). But the ENHD revenue is not liquid, so if they are having to borrow money, it would be nice to know what kind of deal they have with Hunter Wise. Thus, there are some important unanswered questions out there - most of which, mythbuster, the SEC cannot answer. The point I was making is that it's possible these financials won't be the blockbuster results some are expecting because many of the good things that have happened or will happen are not yet reflected. Just trying to understand the trajectory of the PPS lately and be realistic about what to expect next week. If that's gloom and doom to anyone, not much I can do about that. It's also possible that SIVC is just reflecting the moves of the broader market, with people wanting to build cash right now. In the light of that, it's holding up pretty well, as I said.
If they can book ENHD shares as revenue, that will certainly have a major positive influence on the financials. I don't really see how they could but I am not an accountant.
I don't think it is "gloomy" to talk about what we do and don't know about these financial reports. Hey, at least no one can accuse me of pumping LOL.
I know they released a PR saying they were going to focus the company's energy on Redwood, so I don't know where that leaves SINO.
Thanks rain.
Even with a bit of slide recently, this is holding up well given the broader market.
maybe they know something we don't
for example, anyone expecting killer financials this month will be in for quite a shock. They got the revenue from Fushi, but then sold it cheap. But who knows how much cash they've burned or what the details of this financing agreement are. The settlement with MCF was after the end of the fiscal year and the ENHD shares are not yet liquid. We have no idea if SINO is even still operating. And no new deal closings. So I hope nobody here is expecting to see anything great in these filings. The only good news that will come is that this will allow them to file to move off the pinks. SIVC still remains very much about future propects than past peformance. It's possible some people are just tired of waiting.
Between 1:37 and 2:07 there were 350K shares bought, zero shares sold (according to advfn) while the price dropped from .0045 to .0042. Then down to .004 on 20K in sells. Manipulation, anyone?
Buys outnumbering sells more than 2 to 1 but pps is falling. This is getting ridiculous.
Three important things in this PR. They are no longer talking about Sept-Oct but rather this quarter. They mentioned nothing about financial reports. They talked about potential new clients in the pipeline. I don't see anything to get too excited about here - mainly just kicking the can down the road. So we wait.
What...me worry? LOL. Nice job for those of you who picked up some cheapies near .004. I was feeling a bit overexposed with my millions of shares, but I did not bail. Onward and upward?
I agree - strange trading if in fact all these positive developments are about to hit. I have no problem if it's just a matter of waiting a few more weeks and the impatient money is bailing. I hope that's all it is. But if they were going to pull a rabbit out of the hat here, smart money would be sending this up ahead of the announcements.
Lots of sells today. Major lack of confidence in this stock. Looks like most are betting SIVC will not deliver on its repeated promises.
Rain and rook - I'm a believer. In fact, I thought we'd be seeing some upward momentum by now in anticipation of the good things we expect. Still, I can understand why we're not seeing any momo, especially given the uncertainty inherent in the pinkies and the awful broader market. All I can say is, tick tock - show me the money already! LOL.
If something were going to happen in Sept, wouldn't we know about the r/m shell already? Also, we have no idea what the terms of their financing is for this year, and zero info on SINO, and ENHD shares are valueless at this moment, so the financials could be a huge letdown - if they do in fact come by the end of the month. Plus, it is not automatic that the uplisting will happen thereafter. Also, we have no idea how this latest financial crisis has affected their ability to obtain funding for deals. Not trying to be a wet blanket, but the list of unanswered questions is growing, not shrinking. Another substance free PR from the company isn't going to do squat for the PPS. We need to see some execution, and soon. GLTA.
Bickel never promised AMEX or any other major exchange. He has said SIVC will get back on the OTCBB this year.
EOD action looks to me like the MM's dropped it before the bell so a big buyer could step in and grab 4 mill shares below .005 after hours.
This is all ancient history, but MCF hosed SEIH pretty hard, especially with the disastrous r/s. But I doubt they got a ton of money out of this lawsuit. In fact, I'm definitely not upset about MCF's advice to eliminate the La Jolla Cove financing - that was a dilutive crap deal if I ever saw one. SEIH probably is in better financial shape now than it would have been if they hadn't terminated that agreement. Of course from a PPS/shareholder perspective the r/s was the big killer. The key thing is that with their new relationships they are in a much stronger position from a basic business perspective going forward. As for some form of compensation for shareholders that got destroyed by the r/s or some kind of share buyback, I wouldn't hold your breath. The best thing they can do is just deliver all the good things that are in the works. Everyone who's on board now will be in great shape when that happens.
b9 - agreed, it's always about the execution. But they have 2 great deals under their belt, a sharp group of people now on board, and some legitimate financing partners who also have their reps on the line and don't appear to just want to screw SIVC for a quick buck (as MCF did).
Rain just laid it out. If most of those things happen, we are in for a nice holiday season.
huge spread on AMTD .0033/.0045
