Don't understand "unedited financial statements". Where did you see the term "Unedited". Don't you mean "Unaudited"? Normally quarterly statements are unaudited. As to your saying that the company can put any amounts on their unaudited financial statements is correct IF YOU DON'T MIND GOING TO JAIL. When the officers sign the certification that there are no material discrepancies in the company's financial statements they are sticking their own necks on the chopping block if they KNOW or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN of such material discrepancies.
Just don't think HHSE is in the bullshot business. They're moving ahead nicely.
Has there been any thought of contacting eithor or both Leo LePorte (The Tech Guy) or Kim Komando, essentially as beta testers. I know Leo has a guy that appears regularly on his show who reviews A/V hardware. I would expect that when things are just about ready for delivery for NTEK it would be outstanding if favorable reviews generated consumer requests to retailers who would then be searching for supply. I'm sure Al Stone has some ideas on the marketing that are way beyond this suggestion.
Ready, Set, Go NTEK.
Saw the 39" and 50" TVs at SHM. The pictures are so crisp it is just unbelievable. If we can engage in a bit of gorilla marketing this could take off so fast it will appear to approach warp speed.
NTEK is going. The ride will be interesting for those with patience.
I drove 386 miles Saturday morning to attend the SHM. Worth every mile. Meeting all the guys (and Karen) was a real honor - a real class act. I had gone with the intent of "taking their measure" and was very impressed. One of the items I liked the best was a goal that was mentioned - not a promise, just a goal. To have the PSP at $1 by the end of 2014 - you can't hit a goal if you don't set it and with all the goals that have been set and met this year, I think NTEK just might make it for us.
I want our leadership to make buckets of $$$ and thank them for their hard work and a chance to join them in a life changing opportunity.
IAMHO - and I've been in since 1/18/13. Boy do I wish I'd bought more then.
I wonder if the SHM venue at the M8atrix is going to be large enough tomorrow. See y'all there.
Just an offer. If you want to get to San Jose on Saturday and back same day let me know. I'm coming from So. Orange County and will be leaving about 5 a.m. Sorry I can't send private message.
Jim
I'll be in San Jose on Saturday. I can hardly wait - and for me it's a six hour drive each way. Look forward to having the opportunity to meet many of the luminaries of this board - and really take the measure of the great boys and girls at NTEK.
With what I save by driving (versus flying)I think I'll just buy myself another 10K shares at ask.
Go NTEK.
Jim
Thanks to mx717 and Niko for on point responses. But, if I understand the situation correctly, NTEK 4K’s real advantage is it’s streaming ability, and this may be enough, but wouldn’t it be better to include the NTEK system directly in the 4K TV. This would possibly reduce NTEK’s revenue but the beauty of royalties is they have virtually no cost for the revenue earned. The bucks fall straight to the bottom line.
In the past on this Board both Samsung and Sony have been mentioned as companies that might be of benefit to NTEK. It would seem that NTEK might be of great benefit to either of them because of NTEK’s streaming system. Sony is already in the market with a 4K TV (but apparently without a streaming ability). I would think that NTEK could approach Sony with a solution to this problem and a leap ahead of their competition; or approach Samsung with a complete package, which if implemented with sufficient speed might just make a 4K streaming system available for this Christmas – for a nominal royalty, of course. Well, maybe not so nominal. But it could produce a game changer for the company smart enough to include NTEK in their system.
My real concern is that once NTEK’s systems hit the market place the major TV producers will simply buy one and reverse engineer the system and include it in their TVs without our NTEK being paid royalties. If our system is as good as it has been explained, I think there is good reason to expect that the company to get in line first could be induced to pay $25M - $50M in advance royalties. Such an event might just get NTEK more noticed – and the PPS headed in a more northerly direction.
IMHO. GO NTEK.
Ok. Then the question becomes - Why would I buy NTEK's 4K "box"?
What would be my benefit?
I guess you're the person to ask, based on your statement,
"they got 4K device works with ANY TVS". Is that correct? How do you get an HD device to deliver UHD content? I have been having a very difficult time trying to understand the concept. The streaming is a different matter entirely (if I understand the streaming concept). This is not a bash of any kind, just trying to understand how NTEK's 4K device will allow it to work on any TV and will it deliver a better visual on an HD TV?
And at 01.32 Pacific, Stuttgart is 3.40 Eu = $4.40. Go FNMA.
Hey, Doc.
The banks certainly deserve part of the blame. Maybe the biggest part. On the other hand, there were plenty of liars in the mix. Borrowers. Brokers. Loan insurers. Appraisers. Congress (both Parties). And even the rest of us who tried to believe that the real estate market was exempt from reality.
We who are investing in FNMA/FMCC are probably taking a lot of our time to do DD. Most of us are trying to tell others what we know so they can make informed decisions - and not seeking any payment. We're just trying to help more folks grab a piece of the pie.
I think that FNMA/FMCC will each go past $20 PS. Probably higher if the govt. will do what's best for the folks. Won't hold my breath.
Tomorrow 4.60 to 5.40. Sure gets harder to buy at these prices.
Go Mae and Mac.
Talk of the lawsuit brought something to mind. If you're a party to a lawsuit and the causes of action involve potential bad faith you need to be very careful or you might just provide the proof that the other side (as in CERP)needs to show the bad faith in the pleadings. JMO
Something to consider as a reason for the change in training patterns. Again, JMO
Go big CERP.
IL PADRINO - you are correct.
Nicko - the highlighted "Foley Artist" probably has nothing to do with NTEK's Foley. A foley artist in film production refers to a member of the post production crew who goes in after a movie is shot and adds background sound effects. An example might be the sound of nylon stockings swishing together as a woman walks. You might not notice if the sound wasn't in the movie, but it might enhance a scene by it's insertion. Foley artists get screen credit because they earn it.
Great post ZINC. What's the old saying - Problems are just opportunities in work clothes.
Wonder how many more days KBLB will take to get to $ .10. Tomorrow would be nice.
Please remember the reason for Memorial Day and those who have paid the price for all of us.
You must have misheard. All Capital Gains can be offset against both current and carryover capital losses. However, if the sum of current capital losses and carryover capital losses exceed total current year capital gains by more than $3K, then only $3K of the excess capital loss can be deducted against ordinary income. These are the general rules, but like much else that the government regulates, there are exceptions and caveats. So, as is often said on various IHUB boards - know what you own. OR, in the case of tax law, know what the rules are before you act and then enjoy the ride. FNMA - Up, UP and Away.
Please remember, not everyone will show a loss, even at .03 - just a little less profit. GO Big CERP.
C-ship = Conservatorship. This is a step outside of bankruptcy and it is usually overseen by a Court. I'm not sure if this is the case with FNMA, because it is a GSE (Govt Sponsored Entity).
For surgical pain, Morphine is your friend.
You're absolutely correct. However, Calironia requires that the foreign corporation register as such in California and that it have an agent for service (for any lawsuits) in California AND because they want to be able to tax the corporation.
Well said. In fact, if all of you naysayers will sell me your shares for $.0001 p/s, your prognostications and fears will be realized and I'll be a very happy camper. Please, let ME help YOU.
For those who post scatalogical offerings, I might suggest you try to get information that you need and that can be verified - such as this that I just sent to Denise:
Dear Denise,
On the IHUB message board we keep reading “ask Denise”, so here goes:
I find that the NV Sec of State shows that the four “Nano”s referenced on the Nanotech platform are all active, to wit:
Nanotech Entertainment, Inc. 990MM shares authorized
Nanotech Communications Corp. 75K shares authorized
Nanotech Media Corporation 75K shares authorized
Nanotech Gaming Labs, LLC NA
My first question is – Who are the owners of Communications, Media and Gaming; and what is their actual legal relationship to Entertainment?
Also, now that NTEK is doing business in California, under what name(s) are you operating. None of the above names are shown as either corporation or LLCs by the Secretary of State. I ask because I am concerned from an operating procedural point and a tax efficiency point. A presence in Silicon Valley is just smart business; not being registered as either a domestic or foreign corporation/LLC in California could place everything at risk; being an operating entity in California could be extremely tax inefficient (significantly higher taxes).
I do own over 500,000 shares of NTEK. Not huge, but involved.
And no one ever heard of Microsoft - until they did; or Apple - until they did. This is just another way of say "and your point is".
So what if no more than 10K folks have heard of NTEK. At some point very few had heard of ROKU. All companies start as an idea and grow from there.
It just seems that NTEK has looked for and found some nitches that are available for exploitation (and no, I don't mean the shareholders) and are going for it. And we may well become beneficiaries, and what's not to like about that. I, for one, hope that all NTEK's employees become gazillionaires, because then we'll be there for the ride also - and I feel ready for a long trip.
Setting a dividend is never the subject of a shareholders' meeting. It is entirely the purvue of the BOD and would be announced in a PR. Annual meetings are usually to discuss general matters of interest to the shareholders - financial results; changes to the Articles or Bylaws that legally must be approved by the shareholders; election of the BOD. Of course the meeting can also be used to discuss what has occurred or what is pending or simply to show the flag and do a drive-by, as it were. None of this is bad, but unfortunately we just don't know the objective of this SHM. Hopefully management will give us an idea prior to the meeting. So far, to my knowledge the BOD has not indicated that they are going to be asking the SH to vote on any matters, so it really might be just a "good to meet you" occasion - but I don't believe so. I just hope they let us know the agenda, albeit general in nature.
Anyhow, do your DD; stay long and buy more NTEK as you're able.
In re the E3 show. Was this just a general notice or what? The list of exhibitors did not include NTEK - or maybe it's not quite up to date.
Maybe I didn't explain well enough. Here's an example that could be reality. If you put $5,000 into a ROTH IRA now, this would buy about 350,000 shares (at .0142/). If the stock then went to $1.00/s = $350,000 for a gain of $345,000. No tax on the gain - EVER. Yes, you are limited on the annual contribution - but not on the gain. And, if you are married, you might even be allowed to double the amounts. Hope this responds to your comment. At any rate, it might be something to consider if you believe (as I do) that NTEK is going to explode and sprinkle gold dust on all who have the hair to invest at this time.
One alternative to capital gains tax might be to establich a ROTH IRA. At present SP you could buy over 300M shares and when you sell - wala, no tax and when you are able to withdraw the $$ - hooray, still no tax. You may also be able to transfer some of your present holdings directly into the ROTH IRA, although this could produce a taxable event, depending on the price you paid for the shares constributed. Still, this could produce a lot of very happy campers. Long and Strong on NTEK.
Just catching up on massages posted, so this may have been answered:
Regarding SEC filings, I found this on EDGAR.
NanoTech Entertainment, Inc. CIK#: 0001425905
The last filing shown is dated 6/28/12.
Just a bit more for the DD file.
First time posting here. I keep reading NTEKers who are concerned with taxes. Although it's always a valid issue, my dad has always reminded me that you never go broke taking a profit. To say it in another way - Taxes are bad; Losses are worse.
All of that being said, here's one SH (from Orange County, CA) who will be in San Jose in June. I'll hope to meet many of you.
Buying more tomorrow. I Want to hit 1MM by June.
