Thanks to mx717 and Niko for on point responses. But, if I understand the situation correctly, NTEK 4K’s real advantage is it’s streaming ability, and this may be enough, but wouldn’t it be better to include the NTEK system directly in the 4K TV. This would possibly reduce NTEK’s revenue but the beauty of royalties is they have virtually no cost for the revenue earned. The bucks fall straight to the bottom line.

In the past on this Board both Samsung and Sony have been mentioned as companies that might be of benefit to NTEK. It would seem that NTEK might be of great benefit to either of them because of NTEK’s streaming system. Sony is already in the market with a 4K TV (but apparently without a streaming ability). I would think that NTEK could approach Sony with a solution to this problem and a leap ahead of their competition; or approach Samsung with a complete package, which if implemented with sufficient speed might just make a 4K streaming system available for this Christmas – for a nominal royalty, of course. Well, maybe not so nominal. But it could produce a game changer for the company smart enough to include NTEK in their system.

My real concern is that once NTEK’s systems hit the market place the major TV producers will simply buy one and reverse engineer the system and include it in their TVs without our NTEK being paid royalties. If our system is as good as it has been explained, I think there is good reason to expect that the company to get in line first could be induced to pay $25M - $50M in advance royalties. Such an event might just get NTEK more noticed – and the PPS headed in a more northerly direction.

IMHO. GO NTEK.
