Thanks for the response...ERue
Now that the squeaky wheel got its grease, could you please address my questions Mr. McBride or at least have the courtesy to respond with a no comment or a simple reason why you cannot answer. If nothing else, please refer me to someone specific at the company that may be able to respond. Thanks ERue
Matt...his problem is PAROLE vs. PROBATION.
Mr. McBride...I think those are relatively easy questions to answer that do not involve any inside info as they have both been addressed in SEVU PR's. I think many investors here would enjoy the opportunity to hear what you have to say regarding these two very important issues. Thanks ERue
Mr. McBride...one other question. With all the talk of lawsuits bouncing around, can you tell us here at I-Hub what ever happened to the proposed lawsuit against the shorters that the company solicited investors for a while back? It is kind of hard for a person living away from SEVU to decipher what is really happening with the company. Thanks again. ERue
Mr. McBride...can we expect to see an 8K filing with the SEC regarding the PP that has been suggested? If so, when might we expect to see it? Thanks ERue
Seahag...I believe they want as many as possible to help them get paid and give power to their argument. Most shareholders of SEVU are seriously weighing their options right now I would think and realizing they have two choices, unfortunately they are both bad. Good luck ERue

Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll, P.L.L.C. Files Class Action Suit
Against SeaView Video Technology, Inc.
TAMPA, Fla., May 17, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The following notice is issued by
the law firm of Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll, P.L.L.C., on behalf of its
client, who filed a class action today in the United States District Court for
the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, on behalf of purchasers of
SeaView Video Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:SEVU.OB) during the period between
March
30, 2000 and March 19, 2001, inclusive, Civil Action No. 8:01-CV-957-T-26 EAJ
and which has been assigned to the Honorable Richard A. Lazzara.
The complaint alleges that defendants SeaView Video Technology Inc. and
Richard
McBride, President and Chief Executive Officer of SeaView during the Class
Period, violated Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934

misrepresentations to the market concerning, inter alia, SeaView's expected
revenue for 2000, its reported revenue for the second and third quarter of
2000,
the demand for its products, and its ability to manufacture sufficient product
to meet the purported demand. Specifically, defendants had led the market to
believe SeaView would have gross sales of $46 million in 2000, yet gross sales
ended up being slightly over $1 million. In addition, on March 19, 2001, the
Company announced that it had determined that there were inaccuracies in its
financial statements for the quarters ended June 30, 2000 and September 30,
2000
with regard to recognition of revenue as related to certain purchase orders.
The
restated revenue for those two quarters reduced revenue from $4 million
collectively to approximately $550,000.

Seahag...curious about your "opportunity to dump my shares over a week ago but I've decided to ride this one out." statement. What was so special about that opportunity that you don't get every day when the market is open??? The statement just struck me as odd...TIA ERue
Diverdan...please clarify your statements.
1. did you attempt to pay by credit card over the phone?
2. ask to be billed first, so you could pay the invoice and then receive the product after the company received your money?
3. expect to have the product delivered along with an invoice which you then planned on paying through the mail on another day?
If the situation reflects #1 or #2 then I am curious and would like more information on what has caused this situation to develop at SEVU.
If the situation reflects #3, then I think your criticism is unfounded, regardless if you had purchased other cameras in the past or not. Payment at the time of sale seems to be crucial at this point for SEVU.
BTW, don't feel like the Lone Ranger, not many smiling SEVU shareholders in my neck of the woods either.
Good luck!
ERue
FG...thought I should note that although these stock purchases and PP's have been publicly announced in PR's they have not been seen in SEC filings yet. Therefore, with SEVU's past PR history and overzealous ability to toot their own horn, I suggest that investors take these announcements with a grain of salt until the facts come to light. ERue "the negative one"!
DK76...you still around????
I find it interesting that the price of the stock was compared to the Nasdaq composite for the same time period in the filing. Since I don't claim to be an expert on 10K filings, is this a common practice to include these comparisons in such a filing? Anyone? TIA ERue
Bill Branum...you are certainly correct in your statements. I guess I did a poor job of asking the question. I was just curious to know what made him decide it was SEVU that was being investigated and not something or someone else. ERue
FG...you say that the SEC has had SEVU under investigation "for quite a while" as if you have first hand knowledge of such events. Do you? Or are you making this statement based on assumptions from the events that have transpired? Just curious.
Personally, I figured that somebody had to be investigating something behind the scenes as there are just way too many red flags and blatant untruths and misrepresentations for the authorities to ignore.
ERue

Specialty Stores The home improvement market group and specialty electronics retailer market group are two channels in our distribution plan. Home Depot, Lowe's and True Value are the major players in the home improvement market. Placement of our products should be limited to two of these three companies. Radio Shack and Best Buy are the two major companies in the specialty electronic retailer market group. Placement of our products in this market should be considered a future project.

YIT,
YIT, I'm still in Florida, and after tonight I won't be able to post here for a week or two. (It takes that long to get processed into the Witness Protection Program. Just kidding.)
Somebody asked how Rich McBride can leave the country while on felony probation. The answer is that he had to file a legal motion and get a judge's permission. Specifically, on 4/20/01, his attorney, Mark Wall, successfully obtained a court order granting permission to travel to Taiwan. The motion filed by Wall reads, in part:
"It is necessary for McBride to travel to Taiwan for important business purposes to represent the interest of SeaView Video Technology, Inc., a company for which McBride was the founder and is now a consultant and shareholder. The intended dates for the trip are from April 22 to April 29, 2001. Trisha Hoffman White (McBride's probation officer) has no objection."
Print, that may be true...www.investorhub.com may be for sale. If you would look up at your address bar, you would notice that this site is at www.investors.hub. Investors with an S. For any further questions regarding this subject, you might try PM to Matt instead of using this board. TIA ERue
Paulmk...this may be true and to his credit he gave it up. I personally am ready to move forward and get on with business. Hopefully it will all be water under the bridge one day. ERue
Mr. McBride...I'm a long time small stockholder. In response to your recent post, I would like to comment that performing on Q for the stockholders is usually what is expected from public companies. It is good news to see management putting their money where there mouth is instead of their foot for a change. I'm sure it will be comforting to the many "PC Cowboys" out here when we see it in a public filing.
It is agreed that no one has given more to this venture than you. It can also be said that no one has taken from it more than you as well. I hope that the future will allow for all investors to reap the rewards from the products you have developed.
It matters not to me whether anyone here knows anything about building a company with SEVU's potential, as none of us here invested in each other. I have invested in SEVU and my expectations are set by the communications delivered from the company. To date these expectations set by you have not nearly been met, but I continue to hold on and let the situation develop as I am certain these things take time. But gee whiz, put yourself in our shoes and see what we see and read. Consider that we are not on the inside, privy to the facts. SEVU has done an extremely poor job of relating the facts to the investors. You couldn't expect everyone to be thrilled over all this now could you.
So the next time you feel like scolding us "idiots", remember it is you that has chosen this venue to communicate with shareholders and SEVU that has not fulfilled the promises yet. We all are pulling for you to succeed,(most of us, except Printmail) and wish you, SEVU and the employees the best. Good luck! ERue
TAFirehawk...thanks for the update, we agree. I hope to see evidence of Mr. McBride's purchases in the future. I believe that as an insider the proper paperwork must be filed within ten days following the end of the month the transactions occurred. This would certainly encourage me. I am still hanging tough with SEVU, don't necessarily know all the details but will continue to allow things to develop. This doesn't mean I have any confidence they will succeed, but I'm willing to give them a little longer to pull it together. I am anxiously awaiting the 10K. This has been a great learning experience, albeit an expensive one as well. Trying to stay positive. As they say though, you haven't lost until you sell. Good Luck ERue
wolfman...Aqua Vu, $499.95. ERue
FWIW...recently visited a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World store. In the electronics section there was a nice display by a SEVU competitor. The setup was a television display of the huge aquarium inside the store. Apparently, the underwater camera was placed inside the aquarium and displayed across the store on TV. A very nice point of sale display. In fact, it would be hard to present the product in a better way IMO. The salesman told me they had just recently installed this display and it was working well. ERue
I don't remember anything else right now that directly relate to SEVU. Rich is a "busy" inventor, so he has lotsa other ideas, but those will probably come out separate from SEVU.
Just my thoughts TA, but this isn't really what I would call confidence building. I'm sure Mr. McBride has many great ideas, but it is troubling to me to entertain the idea presented here. I cannot imagine the R&D guy using the facilities and funds of the company to promote his own ideas which he could then use for his own benefit outside of the company that provides the aforementioned. Not saying that is going to happen, but I would not like it and I'm sure other shareholders might agree as well. Since this is a hypothetical situation, we really should not get ruffled about this subject. I prefer to expose the current state of affairs and wait patiently for the 10K. Thanks, ERue
TAfirehawk...we have no way of knowing whether SEVU employees are buying stock if they are not classified as "insiders" by the SEC. However, I have not seen any insider buys listed by the SEC, only sells or potential sells. I think it would be a great thing to see these buys listed and if anyone has an example that I have missed, please repost. Thanks ERue
Please file the 10K soon. ERue
Pleeeeaaasse file the 10K soon, soon, real soon. ERue
FG...do you feel there is still a large short position in SEVU? What are your estimates? I would have thought those positions would have been covered for the most part, especially with the last sell off. Thanks ERue
DK76...PP=Stock as far as I know. This is another thing that is interesting, if SEVU has such a big future...why no insider buys??? Mr. McBride certainly does not need to buy, we just gave him a million more shares for the patents (which I strongly disagree with) and now it appears he will get something close to that below market in a PP. It is possible that some on the inside are buying but don't qualify for "insider" staus, I am uncertain. The 10-K will be enlightening, but I don't think we will see any of these recent issues addressed until 10Q and those don't have to be audited. We both know what that means. Good luck ERue
DK76...I'm just very skeptical of everything at this point with the restatement of earnings and the delays and misinformation. It makes me wonder what the problems are when I see SEVU claiming to be the largest seller of underwater cameras, then get hit with the recent 8-K (scope of restatements as yet undefined except that they are material). Couple this with the idea that every time I open an outdoor magazine or mail order (BASS PRO, CABELAS, etc)catalog I see a SEVU competitor, namely Aqua-Vu offering the same basic product, to a broad spectrum of buyers with no competition from SEVU. In addition, in viewing both companies dealer lists, I recognize most of the AQUA-VU dealers as bigger retail outlets in their area while finding many of the SEVU dealers to be smaller dive shops. I see SEVU losing their claimed 80% market share quickly and that is one thing that always seemed to be something to fall back on if secureview failed (secureview, which is why I invested originally).
The recent financing offers by insiders does not look like a great deal to me either. Interest rates are low, financing should be relatively easy if the sales are as brisk as claimed. It just means more dilution to stockholders, this along with lower share values concerns me. But maybe I'm all wrong, time will tell. ERue
To anyone...noticed on the SEVU website that the patent for infrared technology with underwater cameras was applied for in 1999. Has this been awarded?
PATU Submersible Video Camera Utilizing
Infrared Light
Pending Filed / 06-10-99
Are there other companies that have SEVU technology under license from Mr. McBride as earlier suggested? I know I brought this up before, but don't think full disclosure has occurred. If these agreements exist, who is the beneficiary of these licensing agreement now that SEVU has paid for the patents with 1 Million shares of stock? Thanks, ERue
DK76...it is curious to see that many on this board accept the PR as a possible untruth but are so ready to spend the money that has not yet been provided (according to the lack of SEC filings). I think the PR said that the officers "are" providing and the founder "will" provide. This is a far cry from "have" provided and goes against what the new management claimed it would do in regards to the announcement of news (only announcing events which have occurred). I will anxiously awaited the SEC filing for this action before I accept it as fact. "Implicit Faith" in SEVU management no longer exists. ERue
One thing for sure, they're consistent. ERue
Madhatter...I think they have till Monday April 2nd to file the 10K. ERue
Printmail...I don't agree with you in this case. ERue
Mr. McBride...these are your words "All our people are required to keep their computer monitor pointed
towards the room. This covers anyone here posting in the daytime.
Our hours are 8:30 am to 8 pm. If they are posting at home that is
their business. The restrictions for posting are aimed at not releasing major material facts that may have an effect on the price of the stock. I see none of that going on."
This is a perfect example of how your posts are not clear and the exact reason many are wanting you to stop. Are you denying that posting is going on at SEVU or are you saying that all the monitors are pointed towards the room so we can see you work or so we can see that you are posting on message boards? You go on to give the restrictions for posting. However, you don't ever say that your employees can't post, only define what you "aim" to prevent by their posting. It is confusing when you take the time to look at it closely. You leave yourself wide open for these interpretations. My Observations Only...ERue
Mr. McBride...I noticed in your first post that you claimed to own a majority of the stock. Is this a fact or did you just mean to say that you owned a large amount of the stock? By the way, I personally think that you should reconsider posting this forward looking stuff until SEVU regains a little credibility in their public releases. I have lost "on paper" a great deal of money based on your public releases of "facts" that did not materialize. No, I'm not talking about the ones with the disclaimers either.
However, I remain a holder on all SEVU stock I have purchased(as do all of my family and friends that I have encouraged to join in), including those shares in the black and those in the red. Choosing the long road instead of short. I feel the downside risk as DK76 would say, is not that far at this point.
I am smart enough to know that all is not as it seems and have so far stood through thick and thin. However, I think this story can go either way at this point. The recent 8-K was extremely unsettling. Now would be a good time to "put up or shut up". BTW, I think Doug did a great job of expressing my concerns as well. ERue
Nearly two years since this issue started trading on the OTCBB touting a bold new invention "camera in a lightbulb". NOT ONE SINGLE VERIFIABLE CONTRACT WITH A RETAILER. Am I crazy or is this a red flag or not? ERue
FCB...agreed, however I still think it would be a good time to ask for his keys. They can erect a nice little monument in the lobby if need be. Send him a nice note once a year for the shareholders meeting...just get him out of there. No more posting on message boards or SEVU websites, etc. I have personally tired of hearing and seeing the turmoil that surrounds this man and he is not worth a damn for my investment.
Madhatter...when you are getting that kind of money there is no excuse for accounting mistakes. ERue
