YIT,
YIT, I'm still in Florida, and after tonight I won't be able to post here for a week or two. (It takes that long to get processed into the Witness Protection Program. Just kidding.)
Somebody asked how Rich McBride can leave the country while on felony probation. The answer is that he had to file a legal motion and get a judge's permission. Specifically, on 4/20/01, his attorney, Mark Wall, successfully obtained a court order granting permission to travel to Taiwan. The motion filed by Wall reads, in part:
"It is necessary for McBride to travel to Taiwan for important business purposes to represent the interest of SeaView Video Technology, Inc., a company for which McBride was the founder and is now a consultant and shareholder. The intended dates for the trip are from April 22 to April 29, 2001. Trisha Hoffman White (McBride's probation officer) has no objection."
