D-Mike , Is there a defined minimal length for a quiet period? Dr Missling seems to be able to extend his “QUIET” periods however.
I have been invested in AVXL since 2015 but have not read or posted on the message board for a few years.
I hope this is the case that
Anavex is in this undefined quiet period and we see a solid PR shortly..
i have gotten to be quite elderly and I would like to reward my private angel of a nurse that takes care of me part time.

I suspect he was awarded the prize for promoting the use of A2-73 in those seven unknown states so they would not be overlooked when blarcamesine became available.
Most humorous retort of the day!
RedShoulder, Doc328, Boi568, hnbadger1, Bourbon on my cornflakes - Have any of you very knowledgeable people posed these questions/concerns to IR ? I would think that if all of you and others all hit him with these that he would certainly pass them along to Dr.Missling and the BOD that we are getting very restless.
I for one will not vote in favor of the "incentives" for the CEO unless we get some very positive PRs clarifying your concerns. I am well past the age and physical condition to enjoy the $100 share price that Bourbon is looking for but would like to have an idea what my special estate plan for humanitarian purposes could reach.

You can do full-text searches, send private messages, read 100's of messages in one click, etc. All the groovy extras! Everything you see on the feature matrix. Happy Hour is every Friday, from 4-5pm EST.
Thank you this information. Would you please provide me with a link where
I can find this? TIA
I was just stating that there are now over 50 institutions that are now looking at ALPP seriously now where as there was only one institution holding as of December 2021.
From Danno's post#68073
Maybe you should ask the 50 or so institutions that just opened positions in ALPP stock in the last month or so.
Vanessa's experience is a bit concerning to me! LOL
That certainly looks like Alpine green color to me.

Breakthrough Investor
Good point. Not being very experienced with investing in Bio-techs, I jumped in pretty heavy in 2015 expecting this little 7 member company to either partner or be bought out when Anavex had an MTA deal with that large company that was starting to lose their control of the MS market. I was very wrong then but have been here ever since. It better hurry because I don't have a lot of time left in this life but an estate plan for a number of humanitarian causes will benefit nicely. I pray.
In the PR this morning:

My opinion:
If the FDA goes counter to the advisory committee that unanimously did not recommend approval for aducanumab and ends up approving it - the system is broken and will demonstrate that the FDA is bought/paid for by big pharma and lobbying.
In my epilepsy practice, there are Biogen representatives who come and want to talk about setting up an aducanumab infusion center in my practice - I kick them right the hell out of the office. Why would I subject my patients to a chit sandwich when I know full well that the data is unimpressive.
What is confusing me is the overconfidence of these reps that approval is a sure thing.
Do they know more than we all know in the lay public? Have the been given assurances from their administration that approval is likely? Really weird behavior - these Biogen reps act as if aducanumab is already on the market.
My further opinion is that with a Biogen approval - AVXL will continue to fly under the radar as the world media will hype the chit out of Biogen's "approval" while good data from AVXL (hopefully will be released very soon) will get buried and a rush to buy AVXL will not happen.
In this stock since 2015 - been through every twist/turn imaginable.
Bottom line - aducanumab should not even be at the table, let alone at the point of getting approved.
I really hope the FDA does right and does not approve Biogen's hack-job monoclonal antibody.
Lets see what happens.
I have always relied on the annual prediction always made on February 2nd.
Groundhog Day 2022 guide: When and how to see Punxsutawney Phil make his prediction
I am hoping that Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow predicting that the long dark winter of "lack of AVXL trial information" ends and we will see bright sunny days ahead.
They are actually a few days early.
Here is the calendar that Missling uses for announcing his "expected dates"

Invetor2014, I agree that this was non-sequitur to your post.
I believe that this and the rest of the information in Tred's post #226228 that many newer people reading this message board are not familiar.
I tagged it to your post because I believe that many read your postings and hardly anyone would read mine since I am not well versed in this area and do not post often. Please forgive me? (LOL)
Trial design. In our case we have a BOD and management that have the experience through partnerships (Arianna, MJFF, AU Gov. ) and are comfortable with the results from trials to date that were designed, by FDA approved designs to fail fast which we have yet to see in any of our trials. So, we have funding mechanisms and confidence in our science to have forgone the early partnerships.
(Tredenwater Post #226228)
This is something I keep in mind and place much faith in Anavex's trials.
So far to date their have been NO adverse side effects in any of the multitudes of AVXL's trials in many different applications.
Amazon quit carrying NAC some time ago so they must have gotten their marching orders.
Imgettingbetter - I am quite certain that you can PM during "Happy Hour" every Friday afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m. even if you are non-paying. Check it out on the Ihub site.
Your log in name indicates that you possibly might be recovering from a serious condition of some sorts If so I pray that if that is the case you will successfully beat it whatever it is.
God Bless, DRV17

Does all of this seem to be familiar with regard to NWBO share price?

I think I'll accept Dr. Hammond's position and put a couple of Yahoos on ignore that spent all day hashing this out. (LOL)!
There appears to be a lot of buyers with pockets full of dollars !
Its time to finish your first cup of coffee and get up on your AUCTION BLOCK !
I would suggest that you contact the investment firm where your account is placed to get the exact answer.
Interesting. Thank you for posting this. Who can you trust?
I too had a fairly large position thinking that the MTA ( Material Transfer Agreement) for Multiple Sclerosis testing by a big pharma could possibly result in a buy out of this little 7 person company at that time. I was not aware of how that company operated thinking that they would be legitimately interested. I have learned so much from many of the excellent knowledgeable posters on this message board and am very impressed with the growth and pipeline of Anavex Life Sciences through the years.
Good luck to you and God Bless.
Anavex Life Sciences has a very strong professional Board of Directors that has their faith in Dr. Missling as the CEO. There is also a a Strategic Advisory Board consisting of some of the most respected (world wide) people in their respective fields that have remained on the board for years.
The number of institutional investors and their share count continues to grow which to me indicates their trust in Anavex and its current CEO.
That is all good enough confirmation for me as an investor for over six years.
I firmly believe in Anavex Life Sciences as a very solid company with a bright future.
This seems to be similar to three times that AVXL was about to make some very positive PRs and a large pharma put out some fake news to detract attention from AVXL.
Perhaps SAVA picked up a temporary employee with a "Biogerm" to come up with these new findings ??
Thank you for clarifying for me. I have shares in both also and agree with your thinking. A concern of mine is that our current administration is considering removing the step up basis on capital gains. I do not do a lot of trading but what I do is in my ROTH to avoid tax on gains.
Would you please clarify this statement
I hope those aren't bald headed eagles with long tail feathers. LOL
Ortiz As I recall it was only ONE shareholder that bought a couple of hundred shares and it was immediately thrown out of court.
Also I seem to recall that there was a tie between that shareholder and a competing pharma or biotech.
From the article---"The move by the FDA underscores just how determined the neuro division under Billy Dunn has become, willing to hustle through at least one drug to an OK without solid evidence of efficacy and in the face of determined resistance among ranks of experts....."
(Billy must be looking for a little ,ore income maybe)
Falconer, I wish that you would send your questioning of FDA's description of using biomarkers to Dr. Janet Woodcock acting director of FDA and request them to clarify their intent.
Was that a Freudian slip George ?
"....The Tight To Try Act"
Here is a link to an interview of Alexander Green where he states
"“There’s going to be more wealth created in the next two years (of the Biden Presidency)… than the past 20 years combined.”
https://links.thebreadwinner.co/a/1496/click/343/66234/9887187500f72766c758d2efddbc4f4fd4ae6e5a/e391ee1e0270caedddffafd8db9a57543f673203
More importantly he talks about a small biotech company that has about 25 employees and has about 250 worldwide patents that is going to likely solve most diseases using mRNA technique. He doesn't reveal the name during the interview.
He also states that the company has commitments of billions of dollars from Eli Lilly and a few others. A lot of it sounded to me to be very similar to AVXL or a possible competitor.
The mRNA portion starts at approximately the 52 minute mark of the interview.
If someone can take the time to listen to this and has much knowledge on this, I would appreciate your opinion.
Thank you for helping this "less than expert knowledge" octogenarian. I really appreciate your postings along with the many others that are so very experienced and knowledgeable on this board. I have a considerably large position in AVXL in a special dedicated estate plan to be used for humanitarian purposes in the many years ( 10-20-30 years and more hopefully) in the future should the Sigma 1 receptor platform be successful. I told my banker in 2015 that this is a "Babe Ruth" type investment for that purpose. As long as this is taking it appears that I will have to observe the results from my after life on earth (prayerfully) position.
Would you please describe the meaning of "prints" for some of us that are not full time investors like this older person.
TIA
