Ok. Thanks, Dr Big.
When I sent a related inquiry to E*TRADE's Customer Service, this is the response that I received:
"On 11/24/2010, ENTI (ENCOUNTER TECHNOLOGIES INC) underwent a mandatory reorganization that resulted in a spin off for 2625 shares. Please log on to your account and go to Trading & Portfolios >> Portfolios >> Positions to view the position. In the meantime, if you would like to sell the stock and are unable to do so online, please contact us at the number listed below and a broker will assist you by placing the order in your account. Thank you!"
Guess I'll wait and see if they update the stock dividend to properly reflect ENTI.
-Bob
Dontral,
I realize that the symbol is currently LCRED (not in E*TRADE though). So, I was asking a specific question about the way E*TRADE is handling the ongoing change.
-Bob
Question for others using E*TRADE...
What symbol do you see for your ENTI stock dividends within E*TRADE? At the moment, I'm seeing my additional shares listed under "29259J998".
Just wondering if others ended up with the stock dividends properly reflected as ENTI...
-Bob
Question for others using E*TRADE...
What symbol do you now see for your LCRE stocks within E*TRADE? At the moment, I'm seeing my shares listed under "52323R101". So, they are not able to be sold.
-Bob
Yes, I think the ad is definitely engaging. You do find yourself watching in order to find out what is going to happen.
-Bob
All,
The new ad can be viewed on YouTube by visiting:
Very interesting. Thanks, leandro213.
-Bob
No problem, kastlem.
-Bob
kastlem,
I would actually argue that the information I shared in my last post tends to add legitimacy to Spire Investment Group, Inc. The fact that the property was purchased for over $430,000 by one of the co-owners of Spire Investment Group, Inc. indicates a certain financial level.
That coupled with other posts about an increasing number of companies that are operated from homes and similar properties certainly paints a different picture than was being implied.
By the way, Adel Kafrawy also operates a business from his home (a different address). See http://www.kafrawyglobalconsultants.com/ for more details.
-Bob
All,
If you wish to learn more details about the address used by Spire Investment Group, Inc., then simply visit the following location:
http://titleview.org/plymouthdeeds/
In the search box, enter "Kafrawy" and then click the Search button. Doing so will lead you to information about the various properties that are currently owned by Eric Kafrawy as well as his father, Adel Kafrawy.
One of those properties is 14 Forest Street. This location was purchased by Eric and his father in June of 2005 for over $430,000. In February 2007, the property was set up as condominiums - 3 units in total. One of those units (#3) is the address used by Spire Investment Group, Inc.
So, certainly factor this information into your decisions about investing in ENTI. However, I think we can all agree that there is a significant difference between suggesting that the company is operating out of an "apartment" versus the company being operated out of a condominium complex purchased by one of the co-owners of Spire Investment Group, Inc.
-Bob
Agreed, Tenacious.
The key is to have a consistent message that is then communicated through a wide range of marketing channels. One detail in today's news that caught my attention is the understanding of how important marketing is in building a solid company. In fact, it was listed as the most important area (see FAQ #6).
-Bob
bill27,
Why would a company's use of Twitter be cause for concern? I work for a large software company and the use of social media is a growing part of our overall marketing strategy. Honestly, it would worry me more if a company didn't have any type of social media presence.
-Bob
profcw,
As some background...
6) KinsleyStreet Investors Q: The Ambassador program seems to have been implemented successfully and is gaining attention among investors and customer leads alike. Does television or radio also seem like a possible means of getting the word out on advertising and gaining attention among customers?
Ike Sutton A: We are planning a consumer awareness program for 2011. For the year 2010, we are concentrating our B to B objective which is getting known in the market place and by getting known by advertisers.
As you can see, GOIG's focus in 2010 is on business-to-business marketing and outreach. Then, we'll reach a time when it will become important to increase overall awareness with consumers.
In other words, it's more important that paying customers achieve proper ROI during 2010 than it is for non-paying consumers to be able to type in any word you can imagine and have it work. Therefore, the database should be pruned to only include the keywords that have been purchased. Failure to do so puts the revenue targets in jeopardy.
At some point, the database will include enough purchased keywords that a campaign to increase consumer awareness will be justified. Ike obviously believes that point will come in 2011.
-Bob
loophole73,
The value of the interview is due to the answers that were provided by Ike on many important issues. Therefore, the logistics of how the interview was obtained is a secondary point. In other words, this wasn't a "paid review" by a third party that now needs to be discounted accordingly. Instead, it was an opportunity to share key details in Ike's own words.
-Bob
pxxpy7,
The interview is marked as 5/15/10. Here's the link:

-Bob
Thanks, HavnPhun.
With regards to ads on television, I agree with Ike. There's a big difference between that level of advertising and print ads. In my opinion, we should be carefully watching to make sure that we begin to see Go800 appear on additional web sites (easiest marketing material to update). Then, we'll likely see Go800 appear in online ads such as banners and/or web videos. Due to publishing lead times, print ads will likely trail behind. However, these should begin to appear in the June-August time period.
In other words, companies will definitely want to promote the Go800 service that they are now offering. However, there are many ways to do so that don't involve television ads.
-Bob
greedy_malone,
The reason for the question(s) about whether other members have purchased any of LFBG's products and/or played any of the LEFT BEHIND games is to determine a better context for the opinions that are being given.
If others have personally played the games and can provide direct insight into the quality of the games, then that's valuable information. Otherwise, many are led to make assumptions about the reasons why revenues are at certain levels.
Great products can be marketed and/or sold poorly. In addition, bad products can be marketed and/or sold very well. So, it's actually important to better understand if LFBG is struggling in both areas (major change is needed), just one of the areas (lesser change is needed), or neither area (market doesn't exist).
-Bob
greedy_malone,
Actually, I'm not referring to other retail outlets. I'm referring to other distribution channels that are able to connect directly to Christians. Those distribution channels include churches, private schools (at all levels), homeschooling resources, radio stations, radio and TV programs, and more.
Trust me, only focusing on Christian retail outlets will miss a large number of potential consumers - including me.
-Bob
Raingawd,
Just curious... Have you personally played the LEFT BEHIND games?
-Bob
DBS,
The distribution methods that are available to reach Christians more directly extend beyond Christian retail outlets. As mentioned in a previous post, I also believe these distribution methods should be a primary focus.
-Bob
njoynlife365,
See http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=42651940&symbol=ENTI for more details on the expected reach of the MusicMatrix.com commercials (44 million households per month).
-Bob
No problem and sounds good, Nolander.
-Bob
As a Product Marketing Manager for a large software company, I know that SaaS (and cloud computing in general) is an area of focus for many vendors. So, LCRE is being built on a platform that is becoming increasingly popular and one that will continue to generate buzz as we move forward.
The connection with SaaS alone is one of the reasons that I've invested in LCRE.
-Bob
Computerbux,
Glad to see the latest e-mail shared within the public board. Thanks for doing so.
-Bob
Thanks, John.
Looking forward to seeing if PPJE develops any upward movement during the coming week.
-Bob
greedy_malone,
While I wouldn't recommend stopping ongoing efforts with Wal-Mart, I do agree that their marketing activities should include a focused effort on establishing closer connections with Christian organizations and retail outlets.
I understand that the company has been involved in various activities along these lines, but they should not lose sight of the importance of these activities. Having attended a private Christian school and many churches, I know that various organizations are able to get their promotional materials distributed. LFBG needs to be able to do the same.
As you mentioned, this should be a receptive consumer base and would help to establish market data about which products will and will not sell.
-Bob
Thanks, Nolander. It's appreciated.
By the way, http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=42376339&symbol=ENTI provides additional details on how ENTI obtained the MusicMatrix.com domain.
-Bob
seeking wisdom,
Agreed that consumer awareness of the Go800 service will become very important and become another competitive advantage. This is why it was good to see the following:
6) KinsleyStreet Investors Q: The Ambassador program seems to have been implemented successfully and is gaining attention among investors and customer leads alike. Does television or radio also seem like a possible means of getting the word out on advertising and gaining attention among customers?
Ike Sutton A: We are planning a consumer awareness program for 2011. For the year 2010, we are concentrating our B to B objective which is getting known in the market place and by getting known by advertisers.
This year, the focus is on business-to-business marketing and outreach. Then, we'll reach a time when it will become important to increase overall awareness with consumers. At that point, the idea should be that consumers will "push" additional companies to add the Go800 service. Having a nice list of established corporate customers (and related case studies) will make it easier for new businesses to join.
If executed properly, the plan appears to be solid.
-Bob
GoldPennies,
The 29999 short code is used by Advanced Mobile Solutions ( see http://www.advancedmobile.us/ ). Specifically, this short code is associated with their Rentals2Go solution.
From a quick glance, it appears that their solutions do not include the ability to connect the user to a phone number associated with a company. In other words, this is just a standard text message marketing provider.
-Bob
PinkInvestor,
I already have a Buy order defined and will adjust it accordingly in the morning (if necessary). Then, my "watching" will move to watching my account balance.
-Bob
Agreed on Ike's approach, HavnPhun.
For me, Ike's attempt to set reasonable expectations is one of the reasons why I've invested in GOIG. It provides underlying confidence to know that the expectations should be met and/or exceeded at each step along the way.
-Bob
mybell,
Here's the portion of the article that you're referencing...
1) Kinsley Street Investors Q: It’s great to see you again since our February 1st interview. Obviously a lot has happened in both your share price and with the company moving forward in such a short period of time. When do you foresee companies to start using the GO800 text label on television for advertising campaigns?
Ike Sutton A: Television is a big jump from print Ads. TV means a major client that has tested Go800 and is now ready for TV. I can see the jump to television happening in early 2011.
While companies could begin to incorporate Go800 into television ads immediately, Ike is taking the approach of setting an expectation that this type of exposure isn't likely to happen in the very near future.
Personally, I think that's the expectation that investors should have as well. We're starting to find Go800 mentioned on various web sites (easiest marketing tools to update). Then, we'll likely begin to see Go800 incorporated into print ads in the next 1-3 months. Later, we'll hear about Go800 on the radio and on television.
-Bob
Thanks, riverandfold.
The general advice and guidance is appreciated. Over time, I'm sure I'll get more comfortable about when to buy and sell. So far, it's been easy to buy. Knowing when to sell will be a learning experience. That's part of the reason for starting slow though.
-Bob
All,
Like others, I will patiently wait for a pulse. At the moment, GEGP is a nice reminder as to one of multiple reasons as to why I don't purchase lottery tickets.
-Bob
John,
I added my shares of PPJE to the spreadsheet.
-Bob
mcptrman,
It's easy to get very excited by revenue projections for GOIG because the projections don't seem like a stretch (especially compared to what you see with other penny stocks).
However, that's why it will be very important to see the actual revenue numbers in the near future. If the projections are validated or even lead to upward adjustments, the overall legitimacy of GOIG will move to a new level.
-Bob
Mickey,
Here's what Ike is currently indicating in terms of projected revenues ( see http://www.kinsleystreet.com/goipglobalupdate.aspx ):
2) Kinsley Street Investors Q: : What kind of revenues do you see foresee being generated starting on June 1st. And at what rate do you foresee the GO800 brand increasing over the next several months to year?
Ike Sutton A: We are targeting $100,000 in reoccurring monthly revenue beginning June 2010 with a monthly increase of 20%.
So, the target is nearly $300,000 in reoccurring monthly revenue by the end of the year.
-Bob
greedy_malone,
Thanks for sharing more of your perspective on LFBG.
At the moment, I'm going to take a "wait and see" approach related to the company's video games. However, I would agree that the Charlie Church Mouse brand provides a possible opportunity to expand the product offerings. So, Wednesday's news was a positive development.
Related to the Charlie Church Mouse brand, I'll be watching to see what type of updates (if any) are made to various web sites including www.charliechurchmouse.com, www.lifelinestudios.com, and www.inspiredmedia.com.
By the way, LifeLine Studios was/is selling additional Charlie Church Mouse items including DVDs, coloring books, puzzles, and plush toys ( see http://lifelinestudios.com/store/specials.html ). So, the brand was already being expanded beyond video games. We'll have to see if that work continues.
-Bob
Thanks, sr137.
Definitely looking forward to monitoring the status of the ongoing pilot at NEPO 42 and then learning more about the next steps. Should be an interesting 1-2 months.
-Bob
