The problem is that the BeWater simply doesn't belong with the other true national brands because all of them have a national advertising footprint. The national advertising footprint helps to mentally justify the inflated cost of the 6-pack of water.
This is dumb, you can't just chunk 6-pack of random water on a shelf with nationally known brands and expect them to sell. Either GC or the distributor is probably paying a slotting allowance for space rental and nobody keeps paying for space that doesn't generate sales.
It is probably in the $4.99 to $5.99 range because all of those shrink-wrapped six-packs are overpriced. It is quite strange that the price is missing and wasn't referenced in the tweet.

You left out that Lenny mentioned that Be Water could reverse the aging process.
Business success is excellent. Many beverage companies will attempt to sell beverages and fail at it. GC is simply going to be one of those companies due to their unseriousness about turning a profit from selling well water.
The plant and surrounding grounds (with the best water in the universe trapped in wells) sat dormant for several years between owners. The land will soon switch owners again and probably sit dormant again.
Why? Because most people living in the general area of the plant use the same well water that GC uses to bottle their product, and there is nothing special about it.
According to this article, the average convenience store in America generates about $4mil in annual revenue.
According to a 2018 industry report, 153,237 convenience stores are operating in the U.S. These stores generated $616.3 billion in sales for an average of nearly $4 million per store.

This Happy Mellow PR was from August of Last year. The company took in about $140k less in revenue from Nov 2022 - Jan 2023 than it did from August 2022 - October 2022. Does this mean that Happy Mellow is now selling in 1500 new stores or was this PR a little misleading?

I guess this grocery store name drop is supposed to cover up the fact that there were $140k less in sales reported this last quarter than there was the previous quarter.

The company has still not solved their high cost of producing bottled water at the point of production, which is still around 75%.
They were down to $380k in cash at the end of January and that amount is probably much lower than that now.
We have no idea how much they are wholesaling their 6 pack of bottled water to the distributor and zero clues about what their suggested retail price will be. The distributor will probably have to pay for that retail space at Lowes Foods and will dump the Be Water quicker than heck if it isn't selling.
If the company is spending $110k to produce $140k worth of water what does the price point of an unknown six pack of water have to be for GC to turn a profit? Maybe $65 per six pack and that includes an autographed picture of Lenny in full clown costume?
