You promised to treat us better than corporate Mcdonalds, you must have been looney to say that.
Dear Mr Franchise owner, I have worked here 16years part time, My labour was 110% high quality, even working for you 4 years. I have worked my tail off and you reward me like this. I have always been willing to work holidays, July 4, Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Day. (THAT WILL STOP, by the way there was never any form of extra pay {time and half}for anybody who "had " to do that) First this year there was this boost of pay for all the common workers up to 10$. About 3 months ago every body got a 2$ increase except for me (my increase $11). WHY? Are the part time workers some kind of 2nd class worker? some people may not appreciate being treated as 2nd class, I don't. It is not the money, IT IS THE PRINCIPLE of this matter. My evaluation of you is on a very low level. (of the bottom feeding kind) You owe me retroactive payment for the 401K 11% match I lost from corporate when you took over. The stock price has has risen 100% since. You owe me retroactive pay increase to be fair. Your franchise is a dying franchise, your store is falling down. Your transitional team came here with the intention of completely replacing the good workers that were here. They were succesfull in that only a handfull remain from that original group. This is a job with no benefits, no insurance, no retirement, You have never kept your promises to us.
McDonald's makes masks mandatory for all customers, staff whether they are vaccinated, or not.
BAD MOVE by McDonalds!

The fries and buns were much better in the 1900s.
They should bring back the classic taste.
Youngsters would fall in love like past generations
They should work on the buns
Find the recipe from the 70s
Something to note... McDonald's did a majority of their interior remodels in 2019. The cost was in the billions of dollars. Restaurants performing the same remodels are looking at a 30% (fast numbers, would not be surprised to see/read a higher percentage) increase in construction costs. McDonald's balance sheet is going to look so much better than most.
Bread like card board don't work for me.
All companies should explore options related to offering their customers a stake in the company. This is great marketing. It can also be incorporated into purchases as an incentive (spend more get more stock, or discount on your product in the form of company shares). This also creates future investors in the company on a larger scale, by planting mental seeds in the younger crowd. The possibilities are endless. MCD gets it.

MCD thinking outside the box with their customer stock idea.
MCD is in the Real Estate business, not the hamburger business.
I'm hungry for a Big Mac and fries!
Looking for 225 in the next few months so yes not the best to dump at 160
PEs will matter again
I think this will be trading at $1k a share one day. If all these companies allowed to run up in stock price why not McDonald’s. I’m going to start a position again here . I owned 60 shares one time at $150 and then sold my shares like an idiot!! I like my Big Macs with light Mac sauce .
i agree- a real munson
Biden’s $15 minimum wage will cause companies to go to ROBOTS. No more human jobs. Y’all voted for the dumbass.

Hundreds of McDonald’s workers in the US are protesting unsatisfactory working conditions during the coronavirus pandemic, with some quitting and others decrying the risk they say they’re being exposed to from Covid-19.
Strikes took place in over 20 cities across the US, including Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and San Jose in California, as well as St. Louis, Missouri, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee. The protests were planned for Wednesday, ahead of the company’s annual shareholders meeting the following day.
The Fight for 15 movement — a group focused on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour and which is among the organizers of the strike — posted videos of protestors lining their cars outside McDonald’s restaurants and honking their horns. Some vehicles also blocked drive-throughs and sported signs asking for an increase in their wages and better access to personal protective equipment.

The first McDonalds restaurant located outside the United states was in my home town (which is now more like a city).....
Burgers were .19 cents (yer basic cheesburger) and root beer was a dime.
It rained a lot in those days (back in 1967) so puddles can be seen in the photo. But other than that things weren't too bad.
We'd walk around 4 miles to get to the movie house where because McD's was close it was a natural stopover.
Why once I even got into a fight around back (ha - no I'm just kidding but someone probably did)....
Wish I knew then what I know now (I would have bought some shares).....
Thing is now up at around 213 - Man....I should have even bought some 2 weeks ago !
Not to mention when it broke out in year 2016 !.....
Because when I saw that then ?......
I thought "Wo !....Holy smokes ! Why THIS might be the most bullish chart I've ever seen".......
I also (at that time) was quite enamoured with WalMarts' chart :
Chuck, not to make unqualified Confusions
Work abused teen workers die during shift at McDonald’s.
‘No more deaths, no more abuse!’ Peruvian protesters demand justice after teen workers die during shift at McDonald’s.
Dozens of people picketed a McDonald’s in Lima, Peru, in protest over the deaths of two young employees who died there, purportedly due to unsafe working conditions.
McDonald’s employees and relatives of the deceased held signs reading "Work yes, exploitation no. #McDonaldsNeverMore” and “Fed up with surviving, we want to live!” during a rally on Saturday.
Two teenagers, Alexandra Porras, 18, and Gabriel Campos, 19, died last week while cleaning the kitchen at the restaurant. According to Peruvian police, Porras was electrocuted while handling the soft drink machine. Campos was killed while trying to come to her aid. The two had reportedly been saving up money to attend university.
Protesters blame the tragedy on unsafe working conditions at the fast food outlet.
Rocio Zapata, Gabriel’s mother, accused the burger franchise of not providing her son with adequate training and equipment – even though he had been working there for six months. She also described the deplorable working conditions that her deceased son had to endure.
I saw the bodies of the guys and the water was everywhere, everything exposed, there was nowhere to even escape from there; they won’t fool me because I have seen it.
All McDonald’s restaurants in Peru were closed for two days to mourn the deaths of the two young employees. Peru’s workplace safety agency said it was launching an investigation to determine whether McDonald’s should be held responsible for the tragedy.
