All companies should explore options related to offering their customers a stake in the company. This is great marketing. It can also be incorporated into purchases as an incentive (spend more get more stock, or discount on your product in the form of company shares). This also creates future investors in the company on a larger scale, by planting mental seeds in the younger crowd. The possibilities are endless. MCD gets it.
