Hey everyone....
I got an email from Jim. I asked for a straight answer on whether we have finally reached the point of no hope. He said I should contact him in about 2 weeks. I'm not sure what could change in two weeks...but it's not over until it's over...
SS
We are not so different. Most of the divisions in America are manufactured by politicians so they can get votes.
The reason people don't get along is simple. There are far too many people who can't say...."this is what I believe, but I could be wrong".... or, "this is what I believe, but you don't have to believe it too".
As long as we think we are right and the other side is wrong or we are good and they are bad..... we will never solve any of our problems.
It was good talking with you...and by the way, I agree.... If you can I can find common ground...anyone can!
Best Wishes,
SS
There you go...
Polar opposites (what I consider you and I) finding common ground. Although I don't agree with all of what you mentioned, I respect your opinion and the right to have one!
Send our thread to someone who can do something about it.
Turn it around? Here's my top 10 and not necessarily in the proper order.
Thanks for the reply. I have to be honest, I didn't think you would reply. Ok, so here are my responses in red below.
1) Drug testing for all that receive public funding
I am ok with this...but what about alcohol and cigarettes?
What about getting to the root cause of drug and alcohol use. We need to answer some questions. What percentage of people who receive public assistance also use drugs (is this even a real problem). How many use drugs because they are trying to cover up the pain of not being a productive member of society? How many are just freeloaders cheating the US tax payer so they and sit around and get stoned? I don't know the answers any more than you do...but we need to find out before we can figure out a way to solve the problem (if there actually is a problem).
Assuming this is a big problem: what do we do about it? Cut them off and assume they will get off drugs, get a job and become a productive member of society? Maybe that is what would happen..but what if we find out that they don't have the skills to get a job because our education system has failed them. What if there simply aren't any jobs because huge multinational corporations, who only care about making money, have given all the jobs to Chinese workers who they can legally pay slave wages? Then what do we do? What do the newly cut-off people do? If they can't support themselves do we wait until the get caught stealing and put them in jail so they are an even bigger burden on society?
2) Make everyone that's in this county become a citizen or get out! The tax base would rise substantially.
Yes!!! I totally agree. We need immigration reform! President Obama wants exactly what you and I want. Those who have made American their homes and are productive members of society should be allowed to work towards a path to citizenship. Those who are a drain on society should be kicked out. Also, those who cannot speak English well should be kicked out, especially if they have been here a long time. Those who have not been here a long time should be kicked... unless they have strong family ties here already.
Do you know that more people have been deported under President Obama than under President Bush?
3) Term limits for congress. Too many career politicians with baggage and needless spending.
Yes!! and we need to take the money out of politics. There are a lot of good people in this country who would make great politicians...but they don't have ties to big money.
I met a guy a few weeks ago who told me about how Brazil handles elections. Politicians are only allowed to campaign for 2 weeks, cannot use outside money, and are given free air time to make their case. The amount of time and money our politicians spend is sickening. They are bought and paid for by big money leaving the average American to fend for themselves. The ultra wealthy are able to stack the deck in their favor and our corrupt politicians help them do it. Americans are not getting lazier, they are being crushed by a lack of opportunity and a system that has a monopoly on jobs and wages.
4) Have trial lawyers be punished for filing frivolous lawsuits by suspending them from practicing. Also, if they lose a case they would have to pay all of the court costs.
I sort of agree with this. That lady who spilled her coffee and then sue McDonald's because she claimed it was too hot...comes to mind. This seems frivolous and has been joked about, yet she won the case. The problem here is, who is going to decide what frivolous is?
I think a better way to handle this problem is to set up arbitration panels (similar to small claims but more streamlined). People who have a certain level of education could serve a few hours every month to hear cases. Ten people plus the full time arbitration judge would hear the cases. No lawyers would be permitted. Each side would have 10 minutes to make their case and provide evidence. If they do not agree with the arbitration ruling they could file a suit....but the judge would have the ability to preview the case and force acceptance of the arbitration ruling. I agree with you, we need to unclog our legal system and take the profit motive away from lawyers, yet, people have the right to sue when they feel they have been wrongly harmed in some way.
5) Public hangings or use of the guillotine for execution
I love it!!!! We do have to be really careful with this. Far too often, people who have spent decades in prison get released because DNA evidence is able to prove their innocence or a witness is proven to have lied. If, however, there is no doubt a person murdered someone, they should be marched out of the courthouse and strung up...period. It is ridiculous to waste tax payer money keeping these people fed and healthy for year after year while their lawyers play games with our twisted legal system.
6) Find someone in government that will put the good of their nation ahead of their party's platform. Without cooperation and crossing the aisle, this country is doomed. This president has made it a point to leave no alternative to draw lines in the sand instead of finding common ground.
If we took money out of politics, politicians would not need to join one of the parties in order to serve in government. The two party system would then collapse and there would no longer be an isle to cross. Also, politicians who lie to Americans to harm their opponent should be tried for treason and publicly executed.
7) The president should find the 20 most qualified people in the country regardless of party affiliation and have them figure out the health care issue. They would be sequestered away until they find a solution. Once they find it, he should sign it and send to the congress for unanimous approval and enacted as law.
I believe the affordable health care act addresses many of the problems with health care. One of the problems is, we have too many people who can't afford health care and when they get sick they go to the emergency room where hospitals are forced to care for them. Eventually, the tax payer and people who have insurance pay for them. By making health insurance mandatory, this problem is helped greatly. While it is true that people who can't afford insurance will be given assistance, the costs will be lower because they will be able to get proper care which will reduce their overall health care costs because they won't have to wait until they are really sick to get care (costing much more than if they got treatment early on). Also, since young healthy people often forgo insurance because they either think they won't need it or they just can't afford it, the insurance companies end up with older and sicker customers which forces them to spread higher risk over fewer clients....forcing the cost of insurance up dramatically. With everyone insured, the cost per person will come down.
Another issue I learned about from a class on Heath Psychology is the cost of treating chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. It is estimated that 76% of all health care costs go to treat these and a few other "chronic" diseases. These illnesses can be prevented almost 100% of the time by eating a healthy diet and regular exercise. As an athlete, I'm sure you know first hand how important a healthy diet and exercise are. I will also guarantee you that just cigarettes, alcohol, and obesity cost society more than all the illegal drug use combined. So what do we do with people who refuse to take care of themselves? As a society, we want them to be cared for but we don' t want to pay for it. Do we let them die? I'm ok with that....but then we have idiots like Sarah Palin yelling about death panels and out the other side of her stupid mouth she says don't tell people how to eat. We just can't have it both ways.
My dad and mother in law are both good examples of this huge problem. They both ate a poor diet all their lives and laughed at people who ate right. They both have said many times, "I'll eat what I want while I'm alive" or "I don't want to live forever. A few years ago my dad had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass surgery. Luckily he is doing well and will live a long time now that he has decided that eating right and hitting the gym is important. My mother in law is not so lucky, she has been in and out of the hospital many many times the past few years. She can't walk on her own anymore, has to have dialysis three time a week, has severe diabetes, poor eyesight, and has almost died several times. Her life is a living hell and she has dragged her family down with her.
Back to my original point. My dad and mother in law, both on medicare have cost the system a fortune and it could have all been prevented it they took some responsibility for them selves. There are many people like this....so what do we do about them? They are the biggest reason for the rising costs of health care. What compounds this reality is the fact that we have so many old people relative to the number of working age people. "Less people paying in and more people taking out".
8) Find Mike Terrell, Theresa the slut, Harley Terrell, Pedro the donkey and anyone else associated with this mess and have them stoned. I've got a good arm!
Yes!! Just say the word and I'll be there. I only want two promises from you. 1) I get to swing the bat. 2) None of them walk away.
9) Legalize pot and tax the shit out of it. Buy Doritos stock.
I have always been in favor of legalizing all drugs even though I have never used any drugs, not even pot or alcohol. Making drugs illegal has not helped, it only creates criminals that are now clogging our jails and costing tax payers a fortune. Drugs could be taxed and controlled, the money could be used to educate people against the use of drugs as well as treatment of people who want to quit. Imagine all the money that would stay in our country and out of the hands of drug cartels. I would be ok with making any drug use illegal for anyone taking any public assistance.
10) Raise the pay and benefits of our veterans, policemen and firefighters and cut the pay and benefits of every politician.
We need to take care of our veterans, but I am against the government manipulating the marked....even for pay to firefighters and police; I don't even like minimum wage laws. All we need is for the government to stop selling out to the highest bidder and everything will begin to work again.
The company is now disolved!!
I have a ton of stuff to. All of my old emails from MT and Theresa. IMO Jim is a good honest man and I don't think he knew this would ever happen. He has alot of his $$ tied up in this. Bottom line is we could all send in whatever we wanted but the SEC would NEVER do anything with it. Just another write off!!!
I would not put anything past anyone. Just a few days ago, a 90 year old woman who lives a few doors down from me was attacked in her front yard by a man who asked if she needed her lawn mowed. He grabbed her necklace and ran off. Luckily she was not hurt, but she could have been! And for what? A $5 piece of costume jewelry. In my opinion, stock market scum bags are no better than this low life jewelry thief. The sad thing is, when these scum bags cheat investors, they not only hurt the investors and their families, they hurt honest start-ups because burned investors no longer trust anyone. Eventually, the honest companies either die or join the liars who are still able to find suckers to fleece. Some investors will very likely decide to recover their losses any way they can and it goes on and on.
I don't know what the answer to this downward spiral is, but if the SEC would have been doing their jobs from the beginning, maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't be in this mess.
The simple fact is, if our government allows people to steal with impunity there will be an unlimited stream of scum bags that find endless ways to steal from other people. When trust is gone from society... it all ends.
So Mike, let me ask you.... how do we begin to turn it around? I would love to hear your ideas....
SS
Jim may be a shareholder but he took over the "hot potato". Also, don't forget that a certain Mr. Brown was a part of the past way back when a couple of pieces of shat were scamming there way through the pennies.
Check out the past filings of Quill. There was a legit business guy, Phil Lacerte, that got duped into this when it was QUIL. A grifter named Lee Matzig had his hand in this along with another one of his scam artists. Ask Mr. Brown about those characters. As far as I'm concerned and it's only my opinion but Jim and Jack were there to "really try" but were ultimately there to turn out the lights on this scam. I've seen it all to often. Check out the defuncts: AVSG/BWMG, CWIR, AUUI, AMRA, HESV. Common denominator is a scam team that was part of this one from the start. Go ahead and ask Pedro about one of them. Of course, he knows them but I wouldn't believe a word out of his lying mouth.
Maybe this is a stupid thought...but what has really changed? So we are not a publicly traded company company: does it really matter? It's not as if the company could raise money through the sale of shares? There is not a big enough sucker left alive to sell shares to. So, we do not own shares in a publicly traded company, now we own shares in a private company. We are now venture capitalists in a worthless company as opposed to being shareholders in a publicly traded "worthless company"; So tell me, am I stupid or has nothing really changed?
SS
Hey DD... being a shareholder, I understand your point of view but don't forget, Jim is a very large shareholder and is as much a victim as the rest of us. He put everything he had into turning things around for us. He was never a part of the past management because he was kept out of the loop by MT.
SS
true, but one has to hope that justice is done at least occasionally.
I'm sending everything that I have to the SEC "gentlemen" that is mentioned including all of those "last chance" investment emails from Jim. Hopefully, the whole bunch of 'em will go down but doubt it since the SEC is only interested in headlines and taking down those hardened criminals like Martha Stewart.
Eagle Worldwide Inc is the victum of our governments decision and policy changes.
Jim Finegan... you lying sack of shit. You participated in the fleecing of investors so nice attempt at laying the blame off. The only victims were the shareholders, not you. "victum"(sic) huh... incompetent at everything is more like it.
Game, Set, Match. Game over.
Dear Shareholder,
This is a sad time for Eagle Worldwide Inc as the SEC is revoking our registration and we will no longer be a publicly traded Company.
Management has tried to comply with an unreasonable SEC request to file and post all the back 10-K Reports (audited) and 10-Q Reports (50 reports in all) dating back to 1998 when Quill Industries filed the original Registration Statement. The filing and posting of these mostly very old reports proved to be too expensive and difficult.
The basics of what happened is contained in the two attached documents.
Eagle Worldwide Inc is the victum of our governments decision and policy changes.
If you have any additional questions about the SEC decision, the SEC representative was Senior Investigations Counsel Niel (Chip) Welch email Welchn@sec.gov and phone number 202-551-4731.
Best Wishes and Regards,
Jim Finegan---Secretary/Treasurer

Jim F. failed to respond to my last email.... not a good sign.
SS
i think it depends on the statute of limitations.
I guess it's all over now....??
Has anyone talked with Jim? I sent him an email and will post his reply.

Agreed! There is always a reason to justify any type of dishonesty or betrayal, it takes integrity to do what's right anyway.
SS
Pedro couldn't spell honor if he had to. The guy was nothing but a 2 bit fraud and the name change was just an excuse to slither away quietly. Jim could have kept the name the same and Pedro couldn't have done shit about it.
Hey everyone,
Nothing new or interesting. Just wanted to post so I don't get booted from my prestigious asst. mod. position.
Last time I talked with Jim, he was still being squeezed by the SEC. He said they have delisted over 3500 companies. I have to say....it's about damn time. There are far too many scams and pipe dream companies just trying to find a way to lie their way into some suckers (like me) portfolio. Good riddance to them all!
As for ELWD... I do hope Jim and company find a way to make us into an actual company with actual cash flow...but I have always had my doubts and I still do. As for Pedro, he told Jim that since they changed the name of the company he would no longer honor his promise to share the portion of his investments, that we funded, with us.
I used to think that we had about a 1% chance of seeing any compensation from Pedro...now I think we have a better chance of aliens from a distant world coming to Earth and giving us all a few bars of gold. My dad always jokes about how you know a politician is lying...."when you see their lips moving".... Well, how do you know a pink sheet company "executive" is lying... yup...you guessed it!
SS
Bwahaaha
You haven't gotten yours yet?
So when is MT going to be paying out the 2 Year guarantee?
Digi -
No PM available. Live about 4hrs away from your concern. Sorry.
Agreed....
The SEC couldn't even stop Madof when the evidence was handed to them.
The only thing worse than incompetence is when a dose of stupidity and dishonesty are added to the mix.
SS
I'd love for the SEC to get into the old management and finally take them down! This pig goes well past FatBoy into some other seedier types. JAILTIME! JAILTIME! JAILTIME! In fact throw Fatboy, Peetro and the whole lot of them in the clink for good! I would go to the trial and laugh my ass off if it would happen...reality just set in...the SEC are pieces of sheet that only go after headlines and are basically useless when it comes to low life grifters. Oh well, it was fun to dream.
I see said the blind man...
Yes, but which POTUS? GB or OB....
SS
POTUS = President of the United States
I think it might be the song the Fat Lady is singing???...
Probably going to embarrass myself.... but what is POTUS?
SS
What goes around comes around.
"Useless idiots" Would be a correct description concidering the top brass is appointed by the POTUS.
I can only wish Jim and Jack the very best luck....for all our sakes.
Isn't a slap in the face that the useless SEC is now trying to do their jobs....after we all lost our money!
Useless idiots!!!!!!
SS
Rough waters ahead:
Yes... complete agreement...
SS
Agreed the .05 price is way to high and I do think that as soon as this thing starts trading it will tank. The one thing that will save this is Assets. If they can show assets and cash then we have a different ball game. I have been in to many private & public start ups to to invest with this one right now. My biggest fear is just what you stated that if they get desperate for cash they will start selling shares. That said I do think that Jim F is a good honest man. I have had many conversations with him over thet last few years and I know he has a lot of his own money into this. I will wait and see where this thing trades if and when it starts trading again!
Agreed...
My worry is they will need money at some point and start selling stock. Problem is, there are probably no buyers...so any selling would drive the pps right down to .0001. I do admit, I'm a buyer at .0001... LOL
SS
Anyone considering the newest offer from Jim F. I think the company does have potential and the new BOD has put up a lot of their own money to clean this thing up. I am still thinking about it. My biggest hang up is they want .05 per share and that is the current PPS anyway. I will need a much lower buy in price to put up some cash.
Maybe I can trade 5 PDR's for one.:O
Very cool TF.... thanks for posting that.
Who knows....maybe they will make something of this mess after all.
SS
Eagle World Wide presents: SkyTwister, this is a new clean energy solution, this wind mills create electricity in the most simple way, we present to you clean energy at a very low cost, with this product we are certainly redefining wind power.

If that was him...his death is a lie because Jim spoke with him recently....
SS
Agreed!! Last I heard of MT he was homeless.
http://www.corporationwiki.com/Florida/Lake-Worth/kurt-freiter-P235824.aspx
Start with this and follow the trail. I heard a rumor that he died probably B.S but you never know with con artists.
Yes, but I really believe she was just a gullible follower. I think she is nothing more than a spiteful child with delusions of grandeur. I don't think she ever had intentions of cheating anyone; however, no one can ever know what is in another persons heart.
I also think MT and Theresa were both used by Pedro to cheat investors.
They both took the fall while Pedro took the cash. No question that MT lived high on the hog off investors for a while, but in my mind, he did not intend to wipe out investors. I really think he wanted the PDR ex to work and that Pedro put the kibosh on the whole thing by refusing to fund the guarantees and then by calling MT a thief (which is highly believable). I guess we'll never know what was in his heart either.
Let's just hope that Jim and co. can help us get some of our money back.
SS
Very possible also. I always believed that MT basically wrote a check that he expected Pedro to cash; however, it is highly possible that MT and Pedro colluded together for the single purpose of stealing from shareholders.
Does anyone have any idea where MT is now...or what kind of lifestyle he's living? The answer to those questions would say a lot about his past intentions.
I just hope Jim and co. can pull off a miracle so we can get some portion of our money back...otherwise it's a total loss.
SS
Please give details.... I'm sure someone would like to know!
SS
Don't leave theresa out of the either! She was just as much to blame
Both are scumbaggs!! I talked to people who were with MT on his so called business trips. He was spending 10's of thousands on gambling, 5 star hotels and women. It was all a scam. Nothing was real. The exchange was all made up with MT doing all of the so called trading of PDR'S on his computer making it look like there was a ton of interest. It was all a lie.
Jim F on the other hand and the current partners have put thier own money in this thing. They have cleaned it up. It should take off with some good assets and start trading.

(Overview and Future of PNMS.pk)
I believe Pedro is a large part of the reason we are in this situation, either due to his incompetence or blind neglect and I do not dismiss the possibility that he has cheated investors for his own personal gain, whether that means financial gain or to service his ideological goals. I do not believe Pedro is a dishonest man and I do believe he will make things right for investors at some point...but only Pedro is able to prove himself to investors, either as the self proclaimed protector or a common pink sheet scam artist. Pedro is responsible for our losses and it is up to Pedro to make things right! I don't blame investors for not trusting Pedro and think this was all a scam. We simply don't have any hard evidence to prove otherwise. I chose to believe in Pedro for three reasons, 1) He still communicates with investors, even though he has nothing to gain unless he has been honest with us all along, 2) I have too much invested to just walk away or give up all hope, 3) I have taken the time to get to know Pedro over the years and I believe in my heart he will make things right in the end, however, he will do so when it is right for both investors and for Panamersa both in a business sense and a moral sense. No amount of name calling or insults will make him change his time line one minute.
In the mean time, blind pumping and hateful bashing must be kept under control. The bottom line is we are all blind to the truth, all we have to go by is past performance which is clearly horrible. All we can do now is give this even more time to get the answers we all deserve. In the mean time Jim F. and the new board members are hard at work trying to build pnms.pk into a stand alone company, independent of Pedro in every way. Time is also required for the new officers to prove themselves to us and they must prove themselves to us all. As I have said before, I do not advise anyone to invest one single dime at this point...although that may change at some point. The bottom line is...both Pedro and the new board have to prove themselves to investors. However, the constant name calling can only hurt the investors we all want to protect. By the same token, pumping does just as much harm to investors by giving more credence to the notion that this was a scam from the beginning. The best thing both sides can do is give it a rest and give our new officers time to prove themselves to all of us. If your goal is to destroy pnms.pk and all of it's investors, then keep up the bickering on this board, you just may get your wish? If you want investors to make it out of this alive, whether you are a supporter or a hater, the best thing to do now is to just ease up on the fighting and wait. Very little has been said on this board in the last year which is new or important, so lets just give it a rest and walk away for awhile.
SS
As of 3-3-2010 all we know for sure is PNMS.PK is an empty shell. There has been an endless stream of claims and promises so far, and all of them have been either broken or remain unverified.
