Maybe this is a stupid thought...but what has really changed? So we are not a publicly traded company company: does it really matter? It's not as if the company could raise money through the sale of shares? There is not a big enough sucker left alive to sell shares to. So, we do not own shares in a publicly traded company, now we own shares in a private company. We are now venture capitalists in a worthless company as opposed to being shareholders in a publicly traded "worthless company"; So tell me, am I stupid or has nothing really changed?
