I often thought that Pedro and MT planned the whole thing....including the fake accusations, falling out, etc...

Still, my primary thought/speculation is that MT was also betrayed by Pedro. Think about it, the reason we all bought into the PDR exchange was because it was a good idea; it would have worked if the business's and gold etc that Pedro claimed were real. If Pedro would have funded PNMS.pk to pay out the guarantees, the investor money would have poured in. Unfortunately, I don't think Pedro ever had any intention of allowing any shareholders to profit. For that reason, I guess he decided to cut and run by using the fake "my partner is a thief, therefore, I will be one too" defense. Of course, it's not too hard to make a case for MT as a thief. He found the perfect patsy in MT; a guy that was smart, but not as smart as he thought he was, a guy that had a questionable past but desperately wanted to make it big, a guy that he could destroy, who could not retaliate in any way.

Sure, MT is an arrogant sleaze ball, but I have always believed that he was on the level with the PDR exchange and with paying the guarantees. Remember back when it all fell apart? Pedro told several of us that he never authorized the guarantees. Did anyone believe he did not know about the guarantees? Hell no! He was aware of every aspect of what MT was doing and what shareholders were expecting. If Pedro was honest about the amount of money he controlled, he could have easily paid the guarantees, but instead, he proved himself to be a man of zero integrity by blaming the man that he put in charge of all this.

Anyway, that is all in the past; Pedro no longer owns any shares and has no control over "ELWD". I held out a sliver of hope (1 in 1,000,000) that when the embargo against Cuba was lifted, Pedro would honor his word and reward shareholders. Now that Pedro has found a reason (in his mind) to back out of that promise (because they changed the name of the co. to ELWD) I don't see any other hope for shareholders than for Jim and co. to successfully build the co. up from the ashes. What are the odds? I have no idea but they are not good. Still, Jim Finegan, Jack Brown and others have put up their own money. They cleaned up the shell, filed income tax returns, paid corporate fees, etc etc....and are fighting like hell to make something of this company.
They are our only hope, so we may as well support them and wish them the best.
