I would not put anything past anyone. Just a few days ago, a 90 year old woman who lives a few doors down from me was attacked in her front yard by a man who asked if she needed her lawn mowed. He grabbed her necklace and ran off. Luckily she was not hurt, but she could have been! And for what? A $5 piece of costume jewelry. In my opinion, stock market scum bags are no better than this low life jewelry thief. The sad thing is, when these scum bags cheat investors, they not only hurt the investors and their families, they hurt honest start-ups because burned investors no longer trust anyone. Eventually, the honest companies either die or join the liars who are still able to find suckers to fleece. Some investors will very likely decide to recover their losses any way they can and it goes on and on.

I don't know what the answer to this downward spiral is, but if the SEC would have been doing their jobs from the beginning, maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't be in this mess.

The simple fact is, if our government allows people to steal with impunity there will be an unlimited stream of scum bags that find endless ways to steal from other people. When trust is gone from society... it all ends.

So Mike, let me ask you.... how do we begin to turn it around? I would love to hear your ideas....
