"My bidet has an air dryer and night light." derfie
ok, But can you talk to your bidet ?
https://techcrunch.com/2024/01/12/ces-2024-the-weirdest-tech-gadgets-and-ai-claims-from-in-las-vegas/
Kohler introduced the PureWash E930 Bidet Seat with voice command support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. With voice assistance, you can control the seat hands-free, turn on the bidet’s spray and dryer functions, as well as its self-cleaning UV feature. Just don’t let anyone watch you talking to your toilet.
Ð.....So, is this the year of the "Big Correction", I'm naming it?
Typically in Election years the market does well (although that one Obama year was brutal).
Typically, the Government being in such disarray is good for Wall Street, as they are too busy arguing amongst themselves to create any new policies.
Typically, the end of interest rate increases brings the market back up.
In fact, the only thing I can think of that keeps the market up is inflation. Surely, I'm not the only one noticing inflation is spiraling?
I am not expecting a typical year.
I know, this isn't much of a prediction, but more of a worry for the moment. Do I go more to cash now?
I'm thinking now would be a good time to diversify to triple net rentals, but the thought of having to keep track of anything other than the market does
not enthuse me.

Ð.....$TPL is a tricky one to read, but if you get it right it can be very lucrative. Tomorrow looks like the right time to add to this , $1508 (or make your first buy)...actually support currently around $1477, but I think close enough for the next run to around $1650, where selling half seems like the right move. It tends to have wild swings.
Ð.....IF an investor could properly play $NFLX, they would not need to ever invest in anything else. Just go look at the chart on it and take note that if timed correctly over the last 15 years, there is a good chance that no other stock in history could have made you as rich.
FWIW, $BKNG might be stock number 2.
Ð....Well, I'm glad I didn't buy back into $TSLA. It did go up a bit from where I was last considering it, but now it is making lower highs and lower lows.
Below resistance and I'm going to guess it is headed to $176. Then we will see. But considering its P/E compared at least with other car companies, it seems crazy to pick a fair re-entry point.
There is just as good a likelihood one day Musk just goes and moves to a different planet.
I'm sure many already have. I was reading something about it yesterday.
Someone falsely reported the SEC had approved trading in it, Bitcoin price rocketed. Then it turned out to be a false story.

Does your bidet have an air dryer ?
Probably the most useful post I've read all day.
However, I disagree. I bought a bidet some years back. Even had it moved to my new house. However, it can do more damage than wiping. Two spray levels and the higher one can tear ya up!
I do love it though. Even has heated seats. It's like the Adaptive Cruise in my car. Once you have it, you'll never go back.

Ð.....Just came across $UAN and need to keep an eye on it. Don't have a grasp on it yet, but might make for an incredible dividend play.
Ð....Looking at the charts, it looks like this may be the year to lean to value stocks over growth stocks.
Ð....I know it's early, but looking at the 10 Treasury, rates have risen back to a resistance line and looks like they may fall again. This would motivate the Fed to again start raising interest rates.
It's like Wall Street can't wait to see if they can convince the economy to push us into a Recession.
Ð....The rule of Thumb is....the first five business days of the year will paint a picture of what to expect for the year.......So far, not so good.
I don't think son_derf will be hot rodding anywhere, and I don't know why he couldn't be happy with the automatic with the paddle shifters.
Son_derf has always refused to take any help from me and since he let the military pay for his education, I was happy to help.
re: How are you liking your Subaru WRX?
All is good. I was going towards a stick shift version but stalled the demo a couple times even thought I have over 50
years with a clutch pedal, so choose an automatic. I think sports cars expect the driver to drive hard and fast
so the clutch is designed to expect a quick and hard engage in first gear, leading
to a miserable experience in stop & go traffic. One needs a Bob Z mindset where
one views all driving to be as if one is on a racing track. Yes, your son_derf is going to come to hate it.
Yes, it is good for the money as most young guys, without a daddy_derf's money, wanting big power and handling
look towards the Honda and Toyota hot hatch cars, but they have huge mark-ups where the Subaru does not.
The only negative for me, which I can correct, the little spoiler on the rear I'll remove (easily)
(simply don't like to way it looks) and either myself plug the 4 small holes or have a body shop do it.
Second, The drivers bottom seat have high bolsters which makes it difficult
to swing my legs over and touch the ground, so just as I did on my Jeep
I will slice open the seat and remove foam to get a flat seat.
If son_derf corner's fast and hard, then he needs Recardo type seats.
I get it. I have trouble getting in and out of the spousal's car. I don't think I'll ever own a non SUV again.
I just bought son_derf a Subaru WRX. Here I thought he was the only person who wanted to own a Subaru. He insisted on buying a stick shift, as he claims it's not a sports car without a manual transmission (even though he has rarely driven one). We test drove it and the salesman didn't know how to drive a shift so we had to pull it out for him. My son only stalled it out a couple times as I held my tongue to not tell him to "shift now!". I think he is going to come to hate it, but I gave up trying to talk him out of it. I drove a Porche for a while years ago with a stick shift in our traffic it is miserable.
It is a pretty nice looking car for the money though.
How are you liking yours?
Just doing some end of year accounting, and I am APPALLED by how much money we spend per month! We have no debt! How is this possible?
My IHUB subscription runs out in 2212. I may have to adjust my spending habits. Not sure my money will last me another 188 years.
Nope. That was for deerballs. Apparently they are spurned lovers or something.
Perhaps deerballs real name is Zimmerman?
But thank you so very much for bringing that here. 😝
From the RADCQ board. Not certain if this was for you
Buy MULN. Can’t go wrong !!!
Ð.....I'm probably crazy for following this one, but once again $TSLA has me confused.
Currently around $256 and making another attempt to break out, but I can't bring myself to re-buy in.
Musk is such a wildcard. To think people used to question buying into Steven Jobs, but Musk is like Jobs on multi steroids!
I think just he and Warren Buffet can so easily influence the share price of their stock.
I'm making money elsewhere and I should just look away. The P/E may be lower than ever and earnings keep getting revised downward.
One wrong tweet (X?) from him and the liberals will dump him. I do find it interesting that the very people who hate him are the ones who also can't help but buy his product.
Meanwhile, the bigger gamble $RIVN just might be breaking out....but it breaks my rule on buying stocks with earnings. I can see this stock going up at least 100% or sinking back into the abyss. The only good thing is it's at $23.50 and a drop to $22.25 is a signal to sell. (maybe I will take a flyer?).
The other electric vehicle company I've been following is $HYLN. Currently on a big move up as they are buying back a bunch of their shares (which is unheard of in a penny stock). I wouldn't typically give this company a second look, but I recently went down to Austin and met with the CEO. He told me all kinds of potential good stuff.......then recently announced the company is going in a completely different direction. So either he's a CEO who knows how to pivot, or else he's searching for anything to grasp?
$HYLN currently at .93 and doesn't even HIT resistance until $1.64. And I don't mean that in a good way.
Ð....I'm calling it. $DE has officially broken out. I'm cautiously predicting a move back to $450. Cautious because the earning projections for 2024 have dropped a bit and they did raise their dividend recently.
Ð....$KO....I just saw a headline on my phone pop up which read, "how to earn $1000 per month on Coca Cola stock"
Being that I own quite a bit of the stock I was intrigued. Please! Tell me how!!
The article tells you how many shares to buy to get the dividend. Well "duuuhhhhhhh". Why do I fall for this clickbait?!
FWIW, KO has just hit its resistance level, so if you were short term, now is the time to sell. For me, I guess its now a holding for life. Although I did sell off about 7500 shares a few years back.
Ð......Is this Santa Claus rally just early, or setting up for the big selloff before the end of the year.
I absolutely HATE seeing huge rallys' when the Fed slows down their interest rate raises. It's like telling the Fed, "nope! You stopped too soon!"
Whatever happened to slow and steady?
Even the penny stock garbage is rallying right now. This is madness I tell ya. MADNESS!!!
Ð.....Today I am looking at a more aggressive play than I would usually recommend, but, in some ways it's safer.
I'm looking at Cloud Computing stocks today as they all seem to be running. I've considered ZS, OKTA, and PANW.....which all are intriguing. Only PANW has already made a huge run due to it being the leader in the field.
So, I'm considering a big purchase in $CLDL. It is an ETF that will cover the industry.
The positive is I don't have to pick the winner.
The negative is....first its an ETF and I hate how ETF's do their accounting.
It will have the winners, but also the also rans.
It is a 2X ETF, which means double the fun, but double the pain.
Ð......Thank you, and thanks for affirming that SOMEONE is reading my stock recommendations!
The question is....now what? Current resistance at $288.50 currently and stock at $388.61.
I can take the quick one week profit now, or wait to see if it gets back to $450 again?
I think the smart move is to sell a third.
$DE
Ð.....TImely recommendation on $DE that probably no one listened to. Went up over $17 after I recommended it. Maybe Warren is reading my posts?
Ð.....following up on my following up on $DE.
The stock has hit a support level and I'm adding more today.
Opened today around $359, really hoping to see it break through resistance at (current) resistance around $387.
You may be happy to know, because of you, I unfollowed the Middle School Board. I'm not even sure why I was on it in the first place.
Hmmmmm....I gotta tell ya, when you showed me you were one of those penny guys, I was shocked. I've always thought you were of superior intelligence and yet, BORK. Can I not teach anyone anything??
You wonder why I argue on penny stock boards, then show me the reason why. If I could have talked you out of BORK, I would have been thrilled. Now you need it to go from .0001 to .01? That's a lot of zeroes to overcome.
So, what's the story on it? I see you mention racketeering. Was the company a scam, or pump and dumpers got to you?
I've looked at so many over the years I can't recall.
Here is my thought though, and some have proven it wrong....
You're not going to invest enough money into a penny stock to hurt your way of living. So, if this is the case, why even bother? I was "debating" with a guy on another board, and he's bragging how his stock is up like 39% or something in the last couple months. But then I learn he invested hundreds of dollars!
So, what's the point? He's arguing and posting and pumping and spamming to make $100? he could make more with a sign on a street corner. And considering the odds of success have shown to be less than 1% success rate, my only question is why??
So, perhaps, after all these years you can explain it to me. You wanted me discussing it on my board, so here we are. Explain the mindset and how you got so
"doug" in on your belief in this company.
Movie, Music, and TV Reviews
gotmilk.... You are absolutely right that I shouldn't waste my time on the middle school board...
... your point is well made, but it is in my nature to try to help the little guy not get screwed over...
Yes, But as noted today you continue to deflower the essence of that which you have presented yourself over these years as one that does not lower your mental output to equate to those having low standards.
Signal to Noise (ratio)
Your use of logic and common sense towards those having neither becomes "noise" that hides any "signal" you put forth.

This board is getting close to its 100,000 grub post. There was a time, we'd get there in a few weeks, now we may never live to see it. How sad. We need a reunion party surrounding it.
Whatever happened to your BORK stock that you swore to me about its value some years back?
Ð.....Update on $ZTS......these are the type of stocks I crave now...
Ð.....Sold off some MDT and PYPL this morning to match up with some capital gains this year. I'll look at them again in 31 days, but not liking either at the moment.
My buddy Mark just sold off a chunk of his basketball team for around $3.5 billion. He went into business with a woman who controls the Las Vegas Sands hotels and casinos.
Mark also bought an entire small town of Mustang Texas for $2 million. It's about an hour away from Dallas.
Now, I'm not saying casinos will be approved very soon in Texas (although it's absolutely silly that they haven't been yet), but I'm watching McDonald's.
McDonald's always knows in advance where the next growth area is going to be and gets there first.
So I'm just saying, if I notice the golden arches going up down there, I'm buying some chunk of land in that area.
Mark doesn't miss too much.

Ð....I picked up some $CCI this morning. It was between that and getting back into $AMT now that it has pulled back and looks to be on the move again.
CCI hasn't broken out yet, but much stronger dividend and maybe has some good room to run. Really needs to get through $116 before I feel comfortable with it though.
