re: How are you liking your Subaru WRX?

All is good. I was going towards a stick shift version but stalled the demo a couple times even thought I have over 50
years with a clutch pedal, so choose an automatic. I think sports cars expect the driver to drive hard and fast
so the clutch is designed to expect a quick and hard engage in first gear, leading
to a miserable experience in stop & go traffic. One needs a Bob Z mindset where
one views all driving to be as if one is on a racing track. Yes, your son_derf is going to come to hate it.
Yes, it is good for the money as most young guys, without a daddy_derf's money, wanting big power and handling
look towards the Honda and Toyota hot hatch cars, but they have huge mark-ups where the Subaru does not.

The only negative for me, which I can correct, the little spoiler on the rear I'll remove (easily)
(simply don't like to way it looks) and either myself plug the 4 small holes or have a body shop do it.

Second, The drivers bottom seat have high bolsters which makes it difficult
to swing my legs over and touch the ground, so just as I did on my Jeep
I will slice open the seat and remove foam to get a flat seat.

If son_derf corner's fast and hard, then he needs Recardo type seats.
