Those terms might be new?
What IHUbers call "Dividend Plays" are rarely smart investments. Stocks with substantially above average dividends are usually below average dividend payers over the long haul; sometimes they're scams preying on naïve and desperate retirees. In fact I assume any company paying over about 6% is probably deeply troubled.
I'm quite happy to have a large position in Berkshire Hathaway (BRK) which pays no dividends. Despite that, it's performed very well over the years I've owned it.
For income, safety and appreciation, it's damn hard to beat an S&P 500 index fund. Need cash? Just sell off a few shares. (commissions are usually free nowadays.
Do you recommend dividend plays?
OH jesus LOL I was just a drunk - well I was a booze rep - I got paid to drink. I was so good I retired early with many records. Bacardi to offset the coke is a beauty
TFG’s DWAC scam unraveling, they’ve finally admitted to the herd what we’ve been saying since October…..the merger is almost certainly cooked and liquidation is a real, if not likely, scenario

Are we in a recession? The kind of large cap blue chips I own (like the Dow 30) are only down about 10% YTD.. a mere blip.. S&P is off about 12%. None of those numbers count dividends. I still have a profit in almost every stock I own. Of course I've held many for decades. (see ROK and CTAS)
I've held my oldest fund for about 40 years. My dividend income keeps rising (see UPS's payout which rose 48% a few months ago.
By the way...Utilities have been very solid... considering what is. I was getting concerned and am still pissed @ Dominion ..ie ...divi' hack. On the other hand...AEP has been a total monster. Of course...I consolidated AEP way more than D...and that was a major mistake. I didn't see it though at the time....and maybe it wasn't there or I just screwed up. That was like 5 years agoish'...so.
And I am rambling.....lol.
Have you given up iHub or are you sick/dead/on vacation? I have posted several posts to you with no replies and it seems like your only recent posts are a stock index daily update that seems to be on autorpilot.
What be DaDealio?
No replies to my baseball content tells me sumpin bein knott Wright.
That is certainly correct for the most part. I am beating/crushing all but 5 of these indices "year to date"..and "one year".. https://www.investing.com/indices/major-indices
Will it last?....got me.
"He who loses least in a recession wins"
I used to live by the Meadowlands race track. 10 moin away.
My oldest daughter had a softball coach named Poulin whose husband was a jockey.
I had a friend who owned horses.
Made a ton when they hooked up for a race.
That seems about right for a one year period. It's there when you need it though. I have a pile of cash making .30% and that is fine by me. I am just waiting til the beginning of next year after a couple more(last) adjustments.
The current market is confusing as hell and not making any sense...just like the economy. I keep changing plans in my head in order to take advantage...but damn it...it's frustrating.
If it was during the 80's then hell yes it would be fuzzy. Those were my reefer, cocaine and LSD days....lol. Used to drink a lot of Bacardi 151 as well....to offset the cocaine.
It was hell :)
it was a harness racing horse and it was about 1985 or 86 - I think we paid $2,000 between 4 guys. Then we had to pay people to feed it and train it. I dont think it ever made a cent for us and we sold for the same $2,000 6 weeks later.
everything is fuzzy about it and I can barely remember its name. I think it had "Fuzzy " in it ironically enough
Never bought a horse. Knew owners of trotters and pacers.
Playing flats also for over 50 years. I get lucky sometimes like in yesterday,.'s Hambotonian with a 50 to one long shot. Afterwards I did get drunk.
Come on hasnt everyone got Drunk at the track hit a Trifecta and bought a claiming horse with your drunk Buddies?
I do better on my checking account.
My tax exempt money market fund currently yields just 0.15% So it's hard to get much yield coupled with safety and inflation protection. Laddering several 5-year bank CDs is an option. Or 2-year maturities if you're really worried about inflation.
Note the dividend yield on the SP500 is currently 1.54%. The Dow (DIA ) now yields 1.97%
Maybe he can enlighten us as to which world cities George Sharp recently visited with the dates?
The SEC doesn't announce the names of people who win whistleblower awards. Their identities are protected by law, I believe. And I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who claimed to have received one.
Most are employees of big companies. The kind that will settle lawsuits and pay the fines assessed, because they want to start in business.
Generally speaking, that is not the case with fraudulent penny companies.
Did George ever get a whistleblower award? I don’t think I have heard him brag about that - as I am sure he would!
He sure sued a bunch of companies and ended up with some default judgements. Actually that is one of the ways he ended up with one of his the custodianships - he used those default shares to snag the company - GOFF which is now WNFT.
Please try to make more meaningful contributions to the board.
TIA!!
Ah alright well I was an elementary schooler playing basketball no idea it had a slow start my bad
What?? The SEC's Whistleblower program was created in 2011, and got off to a slow start.
Ya you’re right I can’t seem to find the delarge related one and I see so you must’ve gotten some nice $$$ from SEC helping them in the early 2010’s then
That tweet from two years ago doesn't confirm what you said, I'm afraid.
Do you really not understand that I wrote articles for PumpsandDumps for years??
And??? A bunch of crybabies were constantly complaining to him about my posts and my “opinions” about his custodianship plays. He was sick of having to defend himself!
Really you sure?
Note to Janice Shell, Samsamsamiam, Huggy Bear, TenKay, Iglow & the rest of you self righteous whining failures. When OTC Markets writes you checks for an aggregate $300K, let me know. When you get an SEC WB award, let me know. When you live in a $2M home, let me know #scoreboard
— George Sharp - Advocate for truth in the OTC (@GeorgeASharp) December 10, 2020
And you always bash Sharp the same guy who the SEC awarded over 1 million dollars to helping bust scammers and fraud...
WTF? Unlike you, I actually know George. And far as I'm aware, that never happened.
Again, please stop sending me Sam's iHub posts. I don't care about anybody cowering behind an alias.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLISSIMO!!
Very sexy. He might consider making a different kind of video. WHY in the name of God would anyone use canned corn for anything??? If it's not corn season, use frozen.
And what was he making, anyway? Nothing I'd want to eat. Why did it take him so VERY long to dice an onion??
So many questions...
Those three loaded up then set up ASK walls selling/scalping on their followers via tweets which is why they got in trouble and making false claims. If you share legit information that is relevant I don’t see the issue. And you always bash Sharp the same guy who the SEC awarded over 1 million dollars to helping bust scammers and fraud very interesting as it seems you’re trying to achieve the same thing he did no?
So in your world people shouldn’t share information on stocks on the web?
When it comes to pennystocks - yeah I do think that.
And the SEC sees a few problems with some of these “OPINIONS” on social media as well. You read the “opinions” in the SEC litigations of Big Money Mike, OCMillionaire and DeLarge/Gallagher? You might want to review those.
We’re you suggesting you had a paid service for $199.?
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=169606123
Nigerian? I guess the issue I might have with that is the Investment company you are involved in with Edmund Obasi.
Looking over some of his past deals with publicly traded companies raise plenty of red flags. I guess I could give more details on those if you like to help you understand my skepticism.
And sorry - not sure why you think I live in Philadelphia - I don’t.
Nor do I smoke Camel cigarettes and sit around deciding what TV dinner I will eat - as George Sharp claimed in one of his tweets. ( so much for his claim he is NEVER WRONG!)
And you are good to go. Enjoy.
I understand your reasoning and will definitely be proactive about it appreciate it always trying to learn
There are many "nice cars" on the road. I've never felt the urge to steal one, much less murder someone to steal his car. Is there something wrong with me?
I’ve never “Pumped” GVSI, SRNW or WNFT rather shared information about the upcoming catalyst they respectively had and my OPINIONS on them. So in your world people shouldn’t share information on stocks on the web? And I’ve been Holding GVSI for over a year how would I know Canadians would be able to buy after the SEC rule? lmao I thought I’d be locked out from Expert Market Tickers as well but I guess IIROC isn’t enforcing it. Also yes I’m Nigerian you got an issue with it? Seems like you’re stereotyping eh? I see you’re from the Philadelphia area just remember Raptors sent your team packing En route to a championship :)
Well, it's a pretty nice car.
And that murder thing I've never really understood. It is all kinda hazy ... murkey. Ethicswise.
One rumor said she had been drinking and had a fight with her boyfriend.
The whole thing is so horrific thinking how fragile life is and in a heartbeat something so beyond your control could kill you.
Anne Heche accident fortunately didn’t kill someone which could have happened as well.
Good thing it wasn’t a TESLA as I can only imagine the blame game there.
Why would she have stolen a car? She lives in Texas, and was in California. So either she'd have been driving her own car, or a rental.
HOW would she have stolen a car?? You don't just hotwire a new Mercedes. Cars are much more complicated nowadays. Or do you think she first murdered the car's owner?
Maybe the car was stolen.
And I cannot tell from the video but that might be a Mercedes AMG 63 GT which is a tough lift for an RN. KaiserSoze Permanente might want to inventory the opiods/opiates in all the storage areas to which she had access; she must have had a decent second source of income.
That's pretty unimaginative. Maybe she'd inherited money. Maybe she'd married a man who had money. Maybe she won the lottery.
Or maybe she worked hard, saved money during the pandemic, and decided to buy a nice car.
You so often diminish women.
I will serve you cooked pheasant with succulent gravy and white wine.
WHO would drink white wine with pheasant??
I had LUSCIOUS BLTs for dinner. Made with an incredibly juicy, tasty locally grown tomato.
And for tomorrow, I have sweet corn. Which is absurdly expensive this year. A dollar an ear. That's crazy.
Yes..."says you".
Opportunist always seize the day while doubters and nay sayers stay stagnant
I'm old enough to remember when "opportunist" was a pejorative.
I hope the same. But you see appalling mistakes even by journalists working for reputable publications nowadays.

Stock Dilution Scam:
A share dilution scam happens when a company, typically traded in unregulated markets such as the OTC Bulletin Board and the Pink Sheets, repeatedly issues a massive amount of shares into the market for no reason, considerably devaluing share prices until they become almost worthless, causing huge losses to shareholders. Then, after share prices are at or near the minimum price a stock can trade and the share float has increased to an unsustainable level, those fraudulent companies tend to reverse split and continue repeating the same scheme.
Pump and Dump Schemes:
"Pump and dump" schemes, also known as "hype and dump manipulation," involve the touting of a company's stock (typically microcap companies) through false and misleading statements to the marketplace. After pumping the stock, fraudsters make huge profits by selling their cheap stock into the market.
Pump and dump schemes often occur on the Internet where it is common to see messages posted that urge readers to buy a stock quickly or to sell before the price goes down, or a telemarketer will call using the same sort of pitch. Often the promoters will claim to have "inside" information about an impending development or to use an "infallible" combination of economic and stock market data to pick stocks. In reality, they may be company insiders or paid promoters who stand to gain by selling their shares after the stock price is "pumped" up by the buying frenzy they create. Once these fraudsters "dump" their shares and stop hyping the stock, the price typically falls, and investors lose their money.
http://www.sec.gov/answers/pumpdump.htm
The key is understanding
The key is understanding that pink sheet stocks are not investments - 99% of them will lose value over the long run and never accomplish most of their forward looking pumping statements they put in press releases or on their websites. Never believe the hype - always be skeptical of everything you hear.
The people mostly making money with pink sheet stocks are promoters, front loading pumpers with big followings they can dump on, crooks, some of the flippers, and sometimes the very lucky.
Pumpers only tell you to buy stocks that they already own. Pumpers only tell you to hold stocks because they want to make sure you hold longer than them.
They make money by pumping the stock and getting other people to buy then dumping their shares on the followers.
If you really want to take the risk of trying to make money trading pink sheet companies then you have to understand how the game works and never ever hold long term - take profits when you can. Pump and Dumps dominate the IHUB forums.
Trading pink sheet stocks is a sick game full of lies and deceit where people take advantage of the inexperienced and naive stealing away their life savings for their own personal gains.
Very little respect or morals exist in stinky pinky land.
