Because there has been no news since September - news is due now. Either news on the trucking deal company- or news on the previous mentioned additional acquisitions - the additional acquisitions will be the catalyst here.

The over hyped CE designation will propel the pps up whenever it’s removed. The CE removal has only been anticipated for a few days now- since there was a 30 day waiting period. The price will continue up upon its removal.

The price will move back up toward .01 leaving the one tick flippers behind - just like the previous run to one penny. This play is a textbook play to make 10x. Several long holders stuck holding bags of cash on the last run to .01. $CWIR easy $$$. Recently I loaded up on the dip @ .0013 while others waited for the .0009 hype. Wash, rince repeat, butt now let’s wait for the .001 hype. LOL

In short, the short volume data is meaningless as one cannot determine anything from it. The data isn’t broken down to separate columns of Short Interest, Riskless Principal Transactions, and Block Position Transactions. All the data is lumped as one piece of information as just volume, nothing more.

Like you said, short volume and short interest are not the same. The real story with factual data regarding short positions, and the one that FINRA recommends, would be in FINRA’s Short Interest report, not the OTCShortreport.

Shorting is not happening on CWIR. SMH its easy to look up the short interest on FINRA's website and see there is none and also NO failed to deliver.. It cost $2.50 per share to short OTC sub penny stocks. So to short 1 million shares of CWIR would require a $2.5 million security margin. The thought of CWIR being shorted is ridicules. Not only is the cost of shorting out of the normal trades financial reach, the risk of losing 100% or millions of dollars to short this POS doesnt make any sense at all.

Best to learn the difference is short interest and short volume because there is obviously some major confusion.

CRIW has followed these future guidelines. Also notice, the article states that the new practices OTCM will be implementing, starts Q1 2018.

So these new guidelines don't apply to CRIW's current CE, however CWIR has already done all that is posted in the article.

OTCmarkets will always always always have scam companies. There are many, many now who file reports with the SEC or otcmarkets.com that give full disclosure of assets, revenues, expenses, convertible and other debt. PR announcements are very carefully worded with words and phrases such as "plans, "our intent is," "in the future," etc. And splashy headlines of acquisitions, mergers etc. with "subject to due diligence by both parties" buried at the bottom of the story. See companies with rapidly expanding share structures, large consultant or compensation expenses with no revenues? That's probably a share selling "scam" company. It's all there in black and white for the "investor" to study and make decisions on.

Personally I find that the so-called "scam" companies can make great flipping opportunities for traders.

For many, like CWIR there is a lot of "current information," enough so that even with the CE otcmarkets classifies them "Pink Current Information." But there's also a lot of unknowns with CWIR. It certainly has provided some outstanding trading opportunities for me personally, and my humble opinion is that it will again. An "investment" opportunity? For me, no but for others whether there's enough info for them is up to them entirely.

If an person decides to invest in an otc company that's either SEC or otcmarkets "current" without studying and understanding the filings and takes a big loss that's not the fault of the SEC or otcmarkets.com

Short Interest and Short Volume

Short Interest is stock shares that investors have sold short but have NOT yet covered or closed out. Short Interest reflects short market sentiment regarding bearish or bullish expectations. Short Interest therefore reveals future short market sentiment.

Short Volume is not the same as Short Interest. Short Volume can be deceptive because the MM’s may sell into the market a couple of seconds before they close their position, thus deceptively inflating Short Volume. Short Volume is therefore not as good an indicator of a trend as Short Interest. Short Volume may reveal a bearish or bullish trend but Short Interest gives a much better indication of bearish or bullish sentiment.
