I can already hear "Cha-ching" in my head.
Poker?
Really? How very un-communist of them.
China is Blizzard's primary market for Hearthstone. This game is getting out of control!
Is iPhone 8 gonna help Apple breach that trillion dollar milestone? Could very well be.
I'm quite positive Gwent will become a competitive game after its fool release as well. Doesn't mean you can't have some fun with it though!
I have a warranty on it and so far the results have been satisfactory!
I would say we're looking at $200 by late fall at the very latest. Fundamentals are looking good.
Interesting they would go for iPad and not a more budget option which can be found on their domestic market.
Indeed. There aren't that many stocks I'm as excited about as I am about Tesla
Oh I am happy, don't get me wrong. Not as a gamer though haha.
I would rather they just sold skins for a buck as opposed to these non-sensual crates though.
Good for you! Glad you got over it and keep honing your investing skills.
Oh my, this is horrible. I was in a similar situation, actually. When the craze around GPRO was going wild, my elder brother almost convinced me to invest a lot into it. Now I understand I was wise enough not to take the bait.
Hope you will recover from this and find yourself in other stocks or maybe other kinds of investing.
I completely agree with you. What I meant was that Blizzard games are popular and many gamers have their launcher installed already since they play their games. In this case it doesn't make much difference if Destiny 2 is not on Steam.
It all boils down to whether the game will be good. I've played Destiny 1 for a bit and I was satisfied with my investment, but I wasn't left in awe at the same time. Hopefully Destiny 2 will be better, although, at this point in time, it looks painfully similar to the original.
Esport revenues from Hearthstone and Overwatch you mean? I can see that but I have a strong feeling that the returns will be more modest.
This is very true. Destiny will also be the only non-Blizzard game which will operate through their launcher app which makes it all the more bizarre. However, considering how popular Blizzard games are in general, I don't think this will be a deal breaker for many players.
Philosophical... I could see the end of our planet but the entire world... Requires some contemplation haha.
The stock price seems to have stabilized a bit but I'm still not sure about the merit of this company.
It's all about the long-term value amirite?
Where are we expecting double the price to come from? Most of their upcoming titles look... OK
Indeed, looks like I overestimated the stock. Oh well, not gonna get in for now.
Right, right. I do agree on the mobile game part. All the recent Nintendo mobile games have been quite enjoyable. Good for them!
I'm not so sure about $9.30 but 9 seems realistic at this point in time.
In what sense does it make you money? Not sure I understood this sentence correctly.
Absolutely, management is important for any and every company.
Can you imagine how many stocks can you buy for the price of one fidget spinner? Not that's what I call value.
I'm new to this forum so I'm looking for some engagement with fellow investors. I own a sizable position in JNJ and have been invested in it for a while.
Walmart not bidding on Whole Foods
Walmart is not planning to make a rival offer on Whole Foods Markets, avoiding a bidding war with Amazon, according to report.
The Arkansas-based supercenter giant is "not actively considering making an offer" Reuters reports, citing an unnamed "source familiar with the matter." The report cited another anonymous source saying Whole Foods has not received any offers to acquire the Austin-based chain besides Amazon's $13.7 billion bid announced June 16.

Interesting, it's the first time I heard Walmart was even thinking about placing its bid on Whole Foods. Looks like Amazon will grab this piece of the pie with no competition around.
I'm very conflicted about GG and hypothetical investment into it. On one hand it's similar to other similar platforms, on the other it's the only one that is publicly traded.
I'm gonna be honest I'm not that familiar with Nintendo hardware but I do own a 3ds and my partner and I are thinking about getting a Switch in the next few months.
I don't think so, I mean, there are so many different games that are considered eSport disciplines and all of them have American players/teams competing. I used to be more knowledgeable about this, but nowadays I mostly play single-player games or casual multi-player. Getting old...
Thank you for the heads up. As I understand, it's the only company of this kind that is publicly traded, right?
Thank you very much, I'm happy to be here :)
I'm a gamer myself, but I've never heard of this platform, surprisingly enough. Worth looking into?
Is there anyone here who owns/owned any of Nintendo consoles or games? Just curious.
Java is used all over the place on the internet so I guess you will want it, for investing purposes or otherwise.
Either this or EVs will need to have extremely powerful accumulators for long distance driving. Or maybe both?
The Congress is to debate the new healthcare bill possibly already next week and the future of Obamacare is not looking very bright. Debates are gonna be tense I think.
Popcorn mode activated. Hospital stock owners must be quite antsy right about now.
