That is incorrect....stock must be on the nasdaq or NYSE. But anyone with an online trading account can trade pre-market or after hours....at least with TdAmeritrade one can
Schwab, Fido and Ameritrade all have a box to check if you want to trade after or pre- hours, otherwise the order is only good in the regular hours. I'm not aware of any restrictions with those three.
I'm with E-Trade and can buy starting at 7 am central time and up until 6 pm central time. In fact I bought more yesterday just before it closed PM and more this morning. I'm very happy that those of you who were here before the big drop a month ago are getting your money back. I hope you all averaged down. I bought at $2.17 the day after buying in at $4.03.
