hi dig,

three useful perspectives.

i see your point that being in a position to solve problems in existing tc devices should be sufficient to engage the market. the emergence of a simpler sales pitch in Europe shows faint glimmers of hope emerging on the demand side. evolution rather than revolution. shows why thinking on the demand side is valuable.

i can see that having a tc solution in each equipment category may help certain enterprises make bulk buying decisions, per barge/nw.

these two both look like models in which the enterprise takes control of the device.

i also see that having a tc solution in every device may persuade enterprises to allow all sorts of permissioned private equipment (the byod model) onto their networks.

byod sounds more like a consumer-side strategy to me. or rather, a mixed model. more bargian. more matrixy.

Alea/Digspace---I'd like to respond but I'm currently on duty for a very large governmental agency, which is terrifically inefficent except for filtering out employees who on occassion use govt computers for personal business. Anyway, I'm not even quite sure what New Wave's post exactly means, but it sure sounded damn good and got a helluva a lot of dots.

Perhaps New Wave would be willing to drop by to discuss the enigmatic post. It would make for great and informative reading!!!
