A scientific theory isn't a "guess" in the way you mean theory - it must go through a lot of testing and be based on repeatability and corroboration.

That is the problem with stating evolution as fact....it can not be tested.

Again....your opinion...which everyone has and is entitled to.

The problem lies in teaching either belief as FACT in PUBLIC schools....not one theory can be proven as such....so why teach it that way.
