What rights to shareholders have to information concerning the business dealings of a publicly owned company?

Don't shareholders have the right to know if there is any interest in products, or if deals have been made or are in process of being made?
Not specifics of any kind, or names of companies involved, but just general knowledge of whether the company they invested in has a viable product.

I realize some companies would demand secrecy for competitive reasons, but a general positive message to shareholders that deals are done or in the works would do wonders for confidence in their investments. Too much to ask?

As you state, you were asking for proofs that you knew could not be proved sufficiently to satisfy YOU. Therefore you knew your next answer/complaint even as you posted your revised questions, because you revised them specifically to be such that you would never have to admit that any answer was satisfactory.
I have attempted to provide answers that would satisfy a reasonable and unbiased person, knowing in advance that You would never be satisfied.
You asked for a name of a company desirous of KBLB's products.
The name of the ballistic armor company is Safeguard Armor
Safeguard Armor
This company published two articles on spidersilk body armor just about 3 days ago. In those articles they reference the work of Fraser at UND and seem quite clear that They Want It, and They Know Where to Get It.
