Absolutely. Although I would still get out a calculator and determine how many newco shares I would get if the 70/30 stays, and how many I would get if it goes 100/00. It's not a calculation based on the number of dollars you invested or the current market of your respective holdings, rather it is a calculation to determine what outcome gives you the largest number of newco shares.

Yes jack...I hold both and will be voting Yes and Yes.

Say what you want but if P's vote no and the common gets reduced this could also cause a huge monkey wrench and the entire deal is at risk. No one knows for sure.
