Absolutely. Although I would still get out a calculator and determine how many newco shares I would get if the 70/30 stays, and how many I would get if it goes 100/00. It's not a calculation based on the number of dollars you invested or the current market of your respective holdings, rather it is a calculation to determine what outcome gives you the largest number of newco shares.
